How to get the Yavin 4 Stronghold

There are no requirements to getting the Yavin 4 stronghold except having enough credits on hand to purchase it. The initial unlock is 2.5 million credits, and you can unlock it in the Strongholds & Crew Skills section of the Fleet, or near where you load in on the planet/moon of Yavin 4. The entire stronghold costs 13 million credits to fully unlock.

Yavin 4 Temple

Those that explore off the beaten path may find a few additional surprises. The Yavin 4 Stronghold Temple is based on Revan’s ‘Temple of Sacrifice’ on Yavin 4, which you can see during your storyline during the Shadow of Revan expansion storyline. It is the fifth stronghold added to the game.

As a designer on the original Strongholds release, I’m especially jazzed about the Yavin 4 Temple Stronghold. The Cartel Market Design team along with two of our extremely talented studio artists have put together a beautiful, immersive new space for you to explore, decorate and make a part of your unique Star Wars story. This undiscovered temple has 16 centerpiece hooks, 2 starship hooks, more than any other stronghold currently in the game [at the time], and hundreds of the standard hooks you’d expect, offering countless decorating possibilities. The Yavin 4 Stronghold is pretty big – and one of the room unlocks actually opens up the entire back outdoor grounds area.

Initial Unlock

The initial unlock of the Yavin 4 stronghold is pretty big – you get the whole front outdoor area of the stronghold, plus the main indoor room of the temple. The Initial Purchase of the Yavin 4 Stronghold costs 2,500,000 credits or 2,500 Cartel Coins.

Entrance

There is a huge platform that is meant for a Starship, but you can change the hook layouts to put whatever you want.

The grassy area doesn’t have a lot of hooks, but the outside of the temple face does.

The back of the room leads to an up and down staircase.

Temple Room 1

The Temple Room 1 unlock in the Yavin 4 Stronghold costs 825,000 credits or 700 Cartel Coins. It’s a cute little side room with a small balcony.

Temple Room 2

The Temple Room 2 unlock in the Yavin 4 Stronghold costs 975,000 credits or 800 Cartel Coins. I really like the waterfall in this room and the sunlight that comes in through the grate in the roof.

Lower Stairwell

The Lower Stairwell unlock in the Yavin 4 Stronghold costs 450,000 credits or 400 Cartel Coins.

Temple Basement

The Temple Basement unlock in the Yavin 4 Stronghold costs 1,500,000 credits or 1,200 Cartel Coins. It has a giant stone head on one wall and a small balcony.

Upper Stairwell

The Upper Stairwell unlock in the Yavin 4 Stronghold costs 450,000 credits or 400 Cartel Coins.

Temple Balcony

The Temple Balcony unlock in the Yavin 4 Stronghold costs 1,200,000 credits or 1,000 Cartel Coins.

Temple Grounds

The Temple Grounds unlock in the Yavin 4 Stronghold costs 2,600,000 credits or 2,000 Cartel Coins and unlocks a huge area outside.

The Watchtower is a funny little structure that you can go up like an elevator. There is even a few hooks up there.

Forgotten Cavern (Secret Cave)

The secret cave is quite large and leads to a landing area. You can enter into it near the waterfall.

Sanctuary 1

The Sanctuary 1 unlock in the Yavin 4 Stronghold costs 1,250,000 credits or 1,000 Cartel Coins.

You can go “up” the sanctuary’s floors by right-clicking the glowing blue squares on the roof.

Sanctuary 2

The Sanctuary 2 unlock in the Yavin 4 Stronghold costs 1.250,000 credits or 1,000 Cartel Coins.

You can go “up” the sanctuary’s floors by right-clicking the glowing blue squares on the roof.

Hooks

This represents the total number of hooks available when you unlock a room. There are more hooks available than you can place decorations on.

NOTE: You can transform most of the hook options into different arrangements, changing the number of each hook type available in a room.
