The Nar Shaddaa Nightlife event is a limited time event in Star Wars: The Old Republic that focuses on the casino’s of the Smuggler’s Moon- but there’s also some fun quests associated with it. These quests, and the event tied in to them, only appear once a year during the summer.

How to Start the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife Event Quests
To start the event, you can interact with the floating terminal in the center ring of the Republic or Imperial fleet which will give you some free gambling chips and send you towards the event on Nar Shaddaa, which you wil then fly to. This introductory quest can be started at level 15 or higher. The final quest is in a level 75 area though, so if you are low-level you may need to get help or die your way forward.

You don’t technically need to do the quest to participate in the event – but it gives you some free tokens to spend.

Quests
There is a set of story quests available for the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife event. After you start from the glowing blue floating terminal on the Fleet, it will lead you to Nar Shaddaa, but before you speak to your questgiver and complete the actual quest called “Fair Play Enforcer”…

.. You should visit the crate located in the casino area, it will have a yellow quest triangle over it. Pick up all the quests there – one is an actual quest, the other is a list of six quests combined in to one. The other quests can be picked up from a character in the back of the casino with a yellow quest marker over their head, one by one in order.

GROUP BUG: If you are in a group, you may not be able to talk to the Rodian or any other questgiver. Do not do these quests while in a group, though a friend can come help fight or heal you if you get stuck on the combat parts.
Dubious Odds Quest
“Dubious Odds” is the quest that tracks your progress for all six short casino event quests. To complete it you need to do these six quests:
- Complete “Buy In, Sell Out” (from the crate)
- Complete “Fair Play Enforcer”
- Complete “Boss Said Knock You Out”
- Complete “Counterfeit Tokens: Mek-Sha”
- Complete “Counterfeit Tokens: Nar Shaddaa”
- Complete “Data Driven Services”
This specific quest is one-time, the other quests seem repeatable.
Buy In, Sell Out Quest
This is a fun short quest that has you advertise three different businesses. The clues for how to advertise are in the quest description when you open it in the quest panel.
Advertise for Universal Bonds & Bounty: Go up to any type of Patron or Customer in the casino and click them to select them, and click the Universal Bounds & Bounty Pamphlet quest item, which will be located near your quest on the top right of your screen.

Advertise for Artellian Securities: Find one of the glowing blue microphones in the casino and right click them to sing a jingle advertisement.

Advertise for Bugrep Rare Metals: Find the colorful dance floor in the back of the casino and right click it to dance an advertisement.

Fair Play Enforcer Quest
You will need to find the cheating card player. Click the macrobinculars located near your quest on the top right of your screen.

Look around with your mouse. Left click on the blue aqua circles when the circles turn yellow orange. Right click to zoom out. ESC to exit the macrobinculars. When you find the cheater the text will turn red. Do not use your own Macrobinoculars if you earned them through questing on Makeb.

Note, this specific quest is not new, but it is part of the new 6-part quest.
Boss Said Knock You Out Quest
Find any Customer or Patron, left click them, then click the green icon on your temporary ability bar to expel them – it doesn’t matter who you pick. If this ability did not show up and is missing, you will need to open the quest, Abandon the Boss Said Knock You Out Quest quest, then talk to the NPC to pick it up again. The temporary ability should then appear.

Potential bug: If you are not able to see the temporary abilities listed above after picking up the quest, go in to your quests, find the quest, ABANDON it with the button on the bottom, then re-pick up the quest from the NPC in the back of the casino. The temporary ability bar should appear this time.
Data Driven Sciences Quest
This is a fun puzzle-solving quest. You need to convince the three types of casino visitors to buy more casino chips. The hints for this quest are available by clicking the different types of visitors and reading their buffs that appear as small icon above their character portrait, you can read them by hovering your mouse over the icons. To convince them, go close to them, left click them, then use the temporary ability that will pair well with their current thoughts. (Note, they will also have buffs for the other types of quests.) If you choose the wrong ability nothing happens.
- Convince Affable Clients: Aggressive Marketing

- Convince Gullible Patrons: Sunk Cost Fallacy ability

- Convince Tough Customers: Manipulative Argument

Potential bug: If you are not able to see the temporary abilities listed above after picking up the quest, go in to your quests, find the quest, ABANDON it with the button on the bottom, then re-pick up the quest from the NPC in the back of the casino. The temporary ability bar should appear this time.
Counterfeit Tokens: Nar Shaddaa Quest
Take the taxi to the Nar Shaddaa Lower Promenade and talk to the Sly Informant by right clicking them (they will not have a quest marker). Then take a taxi to the Corellian Sector. Then follow the yellow spinning circle to the Marked site.
This specific quest is one-time.
Counterfeit Tokens: Mek-Sha Quest
Fly to Mek-Sha and talk to the Sly Informant not too far away at the Three Points quicktravel on the bottom left of the Mek-Sha map. Then follow the yellow spinning circle to the Marked site.
This is a LEVEL 75 quest area, though the quest can be done at any level – if you are low-level you may need a higher-level friend to escort or summon you to the location to get past the higher level enemies you may or may not run in to.
You can either take a bribe, or kill/capture the red Twi’lek at the end of the quest.
You can get a GURANTEED GOOD KARMA BUFF
by choosing to KILL or CAPTURE the Red Twi’leks crew (If you chose the wrong options, you can’t re-do it, it gets buggy.) But unfortunately this buff disappears if you leave the planet – and I don’t think there is an Emperor’s Grace machine on Mek-Sha. You can always use it to try and win some stuff on the Kingpin machines on Mek-Sha though.
House Money
Along the wall of the casino, you would pick up a one-time quest called “House Money” that rewarded you free chips if you play ten slot machines.
