How to Start
You can pick up the Manaan missions near where you load in the the Manaan Invasion Zone area from a Mission Board.
Reputation
Reputation is a way of gaining favor with different groups by completing quests for them. As you level up your reputation rank, more rewards for that reputation track become available. Reputation is shared by all your characters on your server, it is legacy-wide.
You can earn Manaan Reputation by completing Manaan daily quests, by flying to the Manaan Invasion Zone (not the normal Manaan) and using the terminal to pick up the dailies and weeklies.
By using multiple characters, you won’t be limited to how many Manaan quests you run, but you will still be gated by how many reputation points you can earn – you can only earn a hard limit of 12,000 reputation points per week.
Ranks
As you run dailies, you’ll rank up your reputation, and each rank unlocks new rewards from the Manaan Reputation vendor near the quest terminal.
- Outsider – 0 Reputation
- Newcomer – 0/5,000 Reputation (5,000 total points needed)
- Friend – 0/7,500 Reputation (12,500 total points needed)
- Hero – 0/10,000 Reputation (22,500 total points needed)
- Champion – 0/15,000 Reputation (37,500 total points needed)
- Legend – 0/30,000 Reputation (untested) (72,500 total points needed)
Tokens
Each type of token from questing gives you a different amount of Reputation:
- Green: 270 Reputation (as a subscriber)
- Blue: 750 Reputation (as a subscriber)
- Purple: 1,875 Reputation from the Weekly and Heroic 4 (as a subscriber)
Earning Reputation
- The Weekly quest asks you to complete any 6 dailies or heroics and gives you a purple reputation item.
- The Daily “Patrol” quests asks you to complete any 4 dailies or heroics and gives you a blue reputation item.
- The rest of your reputation you’ll earn just from completing the Manaan quests, or occasionally an even smaller type of token is dropped from enemies as a bonus.
Missions Upgrades
After you complete the Manaan Invasion Zone main story line (not the repeatable quests), you’ll gain access to a special vendor-like NPC that will let you pick three different special abilities you can only use in the Manaan Invasion Zone.
This NPC is located near where you load in to the planet.
It’s a bit finicky, so you may have to re-choose them multiple times to get them to work, but once they are working they show up on your temporary abilities bar. You can easily and freely swap them at the NPC / vendor.
- Speed Boost: Increases your movement speed by 90% for 12 seconds.
- Experimental Grenade: Throws an EMP grenade that electrifies the target area, dealing elemental damage over 5 seconds to up to 8 targets within 5 meters and slowing all affected targets by 70%. Stuns weak and standard droids.
- Kolto Probe: Summons a droid that heals a friendly target over 18 seconds.
- Plasma Probe: Deploys a plasma drone that does moderate damage over time to all nearby enemies for 15 seconds.
- Reflective Shield: Reflects 10% direct single target attacks back to the attacker for a short time.
- Stealth: Stealth Activates your stealth generator, increasing your stealth level by 15 and making you and your companion difficult to detect. Movement speed is reduced to 85% of normal while in stealth. Most hostile actions and taking cover will break Stealth. Your companion will not react to enemy attacks while in stealth.

[HEROIC 4] Fallout / [HEROIC 4] Cutting off the Head
Republic (Fallout) /Imperial (Cutting off the Head) – Harder quest, completable once per day per character
Reward: Purple Manaan Reputation Item
Tips
- There are no steps for this heroic, simply go into the cave and fight the big Selkath.
- This fight is quite difficult solo. Most players will need to find a friend to help complete it, though you don’t necessarily need a full group of 4. [[Based on Test Server]]
- The big Selkath can not be moved, stunned or interrupted, but the smaller ones can be.
- The player who has the big Selkath’s attention can aim the red laser towards the smaller Selkaths, and it will randomly select a single smaller Selkath nearby and kill it. You must have the Selkath be between the player and the boss for this to work. You can be strategic by hitting the smaller Selkath with the most health left if you have nameplates/healthbars on.
- You’ll also want to keep him turned away from your companion or allies for his Hail of Bolts attack that hits everyone in front of him.
- You can walk through the healing stations to heal up.
- If you want to group him up with the smaller Selkaths, you can have you and your companion or group members hide behind a rock (‘LOS’) that is halfway up the ledge pathway that leads upwards, and force him and the smaller Selkaths to run over, so you can more easily hit both him and the smaller enemies.
Fallout (Republic): Isolationist Selkath have taken over the Manaan Visitor’s Center in a bid to cut off the planet from outside influence. Their success in holding the area is largely due to the command of a former officer in Manaan’s military. Without his expertise and leadership, the isolationists’ ability to hold the Visitor’s Center will be greatly diminished.
[DAILY] Vital Intelligence / [DAILY] Deep Dead Drop
Republic (Vital Intelligence) /Imperial (Deep Dead Drop) – Completable once per day per character
Reward: Green Manaan Reputation Item
Tips
- Part 1 (Code Cylinder) – Fight any Selkaths in the Ancient Selkath City map until one drops a yellow item called a Code Cylinder.
- Part 2 (Dig Sites) – Then look for yellow roped off squares on the ground with artifacts in them. When you find one, left-click the “Extraction Droid” icon that will show up in your quest log on the top right – if you can’t see it, you can also right-click the extracction droid from your Mission Items in your inventory. Then place the droid ability down on the yellow square.
- You may or may not find one at your location. If the animation turns red, go to another location and try again. Your location may be different than someone else who is also searching, it’s not always the same.
- This is not like the normal seeker Droid, it will not point you in the right direction, it will only let you know if you found one (green) or didn’t find one (red).
- Same quest, different names on Republic vs Imperial side.
Vital Intelligence (Republic): The Selkath Intelligence Force has expressed concern about an undercover agent posted within the isolationist group occupying a Selkath archeological site. The agent has failed to check in, and valuable intelligence she collected is at risk of being lost. Recover the intel from the dead drop location so the Selkath Intelligence Force can use it.
Deep Dead Drop (Imperial): Sith Intelligence has discovered that the Selkath Intelligence Force placed an undercover agent within the isolationist group occupying a Selkath archaeological site. Before the agent was exposed and captured, she left valuable intelligence for her handlers in a dead drop location at the archaeological site where the isolationists are based. Recover the intel from the dead drop location so Sith Intelligence can use it.
[DAILY] Kolto Enrichment Lab Process
Republic/Imperial – Completable once per day per character
Reward: Green Manaan Reputation Item
Tips
- You will first need to fight Isolationist Bio-Engineer Selkaths in the Ancient Slkath City until you can find a Kolto Processing Code item.
- This quest is slightly different Republic side vs Imperial side, but it has the same name on both sides. It looks like a puzzle, but it’s not, just follow the steps the quest tells you to.
- Step 1 – Right-click the small blue terminal on a level above the blue kolto pool.
- Step 2 – Lower the temp by right-clicking the small glowing blue terminal beside the pool.
- Step 3 – Raise the temp by right-clicking the freestanding terminals beside the red pipes near the pool.
- Step 4 – Go into the pool and click the terminals inside the pool.
- Step 5 – Go back up top to retrieve the sample.
Kolto Enrichment Lab Process (Republic): Republic: Isolationist Selkath have occupied an underwater archaeological site in order to conduct kolto enriching experiments. The isolationists cannot be allowed to succeed. Retrieve the enriched kolto sample from the isolationists’ makeshift laboratory before they use it in their fight against the Selkath.
Kolto Enrichment Lab Process (Imperial): Isolationist Selkath have occupied an underwater archaeological site in order to conduct kolto enriching experiments. The isolationists cannot be allowed to succeed. Retrieve the enriched Kolto sample from the isolationist’s makeshift laboratory so the Empire can benefit from it instead.
[DAILY] Deep Trouble
Republic/Imperial – Completable once per day per character
Reward: Green Manaan Reputation Item
Tips
- Look for the large glowing blue terminals. They are marked on your map.
- The blue terminals are spread across multiple maps.
Deep Trouble (Republic): Monitoring stations used to track movements of “the Progenitor” – an entity revered by the Selkath – have been malfunctioning across Manaan. The Empire’s occupation has prevented technicians from accessing the terminals, and the Selkath have asked for the Republic’s assistance in diagnosing and repairing these devices.
Deep Trouble (Imperial): Isolationist upheaval on Manaan has presented a unique opportunity to destabilize the Selkath’s fragile peace. Monitoring stations used to track the best known as “the Progenitor” can be repurposed to sow seeds of chaos.
[DAILY] Amateur Archeology
Imperial Only – Completable once per day per character Reward: Green Manaan Reputation ItemTips
- Look for glowing blue artifacts in the Ancient Selkath City. They look like lore objects.
- You can not click them while you are in combat.
- They do respawn – you need to click eight total, you can click the same one more than once after it respawns, the respawn is short.
Amateur Archeology: An anonymous collector expressing a keen interest in “preserving the legacy and dignity of the Selkath” has made contact with the Empire’s forces on Manaan. Missing artifacts will anger the Selkath, which should provide useful political angles. Requisition any artifacts you can find at the Selkath archaeological site.
[DAILY] Unwelcome Guests / [DAILY] Data in Isolation
Republic (Unwelcome Guests) /Imperial (Data in Isolation) – Completable once per day per character
Reward: Green Manaan Reputation Item
Tips
- Defeat Selkath in the marked areas and hope to get lucky with the drops. [[On the test server the circle marker seems off from where I was actually getting them.]]
Unwelcome Guests (Imperial): Selkath isolationists have captured a sizeable portion of the shipping infrastructure on Manaan, disrupting the Empire’s kolto acquisition efforts. Members of Sith Intelligence propose turning the isolationist’s ire against the Empire’s enemies instead.
Data in Isolation (Imperial): Selkath isolationists have captured a sizeable portion of the shipping infrastructure on Manaan. They are demanding that all outsiders leave the planet or they won’t allow any kolto to be shipped offworld. The Isolationists are unusually well-equipped, and SIS agents suspect they are being manipulated by a third party to disrupt the fragile alliance with the Republic.
[HEROIC 2+] Supply-Side Justice / [HEROIC 2+] A Trail of Breadcrumbs
Republic (Supply-Side Justice) /Imperial (A Trail of Breadcrumbs) -Harder quest, completable once per day per character
Reward: Green Manaan Reputation Item
Tips
- Step 1 Right-click four of the glowing blue submersibles.
- Step 2 – Go to the elevator marked on your map, down to the Visitor’s Dome.
- Step 3 – Right-click 5 of the large glowing blue boxes. You can re-click the same ones if you need to when they respawn. You can click while in combat.
- Step 4 – Go into the cave and fight the Isolationist Quartermaster. “Scattershot” can be interrupted and you can step out of the red triangle he puts on the ground. The Quartermaster can not be stunned or moved, but the smaller enemies can be – if you are playing solo, you may want to attract the smaller enemies attention so they don’t attack your companion, then go back to the boss and ignore the droids. [[On the Test Server this fight was quite easy even solo.]]
A Trail of Breadcrumbs (Imperial): Isolationist Selkath have taken over the Manaan Visitor’s Center in a bid to cut off the planet form outside influence. Although the isolationists are currently occupying the visitor’s center on the surface, intelligence suggests their supplies are coming from an underwater base of operations.
Supply-Side Justice (Republic): Isolationist Selkath have taken over the Manaan Visitor’s Center in a bid to cut off the planet from outside influence. The isolationists are well-armed and well-supplied, and leaders among the Republic and Selkath militaries believe they have outside sympathizers. Scan the isolationists’ equipment to gather clues on their suppliers.
[HEROIC 2+] Unwelcome Sign/ [HEROIC 2+] Whisper Campaign
Republic (Unwelcome Sign) /Imperial (Whisper Campaign) – Harder quest, completable once per day per character
Reward: Green Manaan Reputation Item
Tips
- Step 1 – Defeat Selkath Isolationists and get 5 randomly dropped Code Cylinders
- Step 2 – Once you’ve found five, go to the scanning symbol on your map
- Step 3 – At the location, left-click the “Handheld Scanner” icon that will show up in your quest log on the top right – if you can’t see it, you can also right-click the Handheld Scanner item from your Mission Items tab in your inventory. Point your scanner towards the yellow circle by moving your mouse around until your scanner’s circle also lights up in orange, and hold down left-click to scan.
- Step 4 – Last, find the communication terminal in the center of the map and right-click it to turn in the quest
Whisper Campaign (Imperial): Isolationist Selkath have taken over the Manaan Visitor’s Center in a bid to cut off the planet form outside influence. Strike at the heart of the isolationist’s organization and disrupt their unified front by broadcasting divisive messages over their communications channels.
Unwelcome Sign (Republic): Isolationist Selkath have taken over the Manaan Visitor’s Center in a bid to cut off the planet from outside influence. Disrupt the isolationists’ propoganda broadcasts to prevent them from winning over Manaan’s people and recruiting more Selkath to their cause.
