Champion Achievements Guide in SWTOR

Did you know there a special Champion enemies hidden across the galaxy? Each planet has a handful of special enemies, often with unique names, that you can track down and defeat to complete achievements. Unlike the Beastmaster achievement, there’s no real reward for finding these enemies, but they can be fun to find and fill out in your achievement tracker. These achievements are aimed at players who really like exploring across the galaxy.

Why do the Champion Achievements?

The Champion achievements are really meant to be collected over time, and are a great option for solo players looking for something relaxing to do, to go exploring with friends, or for something off the beaten path to do if you’ve completed everything else, especially as a free-to-play player. There’s no reward for such a galaxy-wide spanning quest, though many players chase down this achievement with a sense of exploration.

You do not need to be subscribed to the game to get most of these, though some are locked behind planets that you can only access after subscribing to unlock their related expansions. The level for each champion will range from level 10 all the way to max level, and just depends on the planet’s level.

Champion Achievements

There’s no meta-achievement for the champion achievements, so there’s no easy way to see if you’ve done them all, but you can check the progress of your individual champion achievements in the Achievements -> Location -> [Planet] -> General and then they’re usually the last listed achievements.

The “Champion” achievements are listed under multiple names in the Achievements panel – some are called “Most Wanted”, some are called  “Champion of ___” and others are called “Liberator of ___” and “Tyrant of ___” depending on your faction.

Champion List by Planet

There are champions hidden across all of the base planets except for Alderaan, as well as achievements on some of the later expansion planets.  Here’s a list of all the achievements by planet! Enemies from these achievements are often called “named enemies” or “named champs” by players.

Alderaan

For whatever reason, Alderaan does not have any traditional champion-related achievements. There is an achievement called “Liberator of Alderaan” but it’s for Star Fortresses, not champions on Alderaan. There is a cute single-enemy Scruffy Looking Nerf Hurter achievement to fight the Shellback Nerf.
