Tyrant of Ilum! Champion Achievement Guide

This guide will go over over the Tyrant of Ilum! achievement in Star Wars: The Old Republic, which requires you to have defeated all Republic opponents of Elite difficulty on Ilum.

Tyrant of Ilum! Map

Duros Veteran

Head along the road north of the Imperial base’s shuttle. Ignore the first split to the left that goes up ancient jedi stairways, and head to the imperial outpost taken over by Duros. The Veteran is at the front of the closed door to the building.

Salvage Foreman Tha’ross

Head north out of the Imperial Base Camp and take either the 1st or 3rd left on the road up some ancient jedi temple stairs to the North Jedi Ruins. Multiple targets are located in this area, but the named Foreman champion is in the far northwest corner.

Jedi Sentinel

From the Imperial Waystation head southwest to the western Jedi ruins and then southeast to the republic waystation (it may look like you can head southeast to a small bridge near the waystation – this is a group phase and will not get you there). Once outside the Republic Waystation, there are a few eligible targets wandering the perimeter, but the Sentinel is a Jedi walking around the east side, patrolling near some Vehicles.

Jedi Armsmaster

Directly south of the Imperial Basecamp are two bodies of water easily visible on the map – split by a road. At the south body of ice, overlooking the road is an elite-level Armsmaster.

Jedi Blademaster

The Jedi Blademaster is located inside the Republic Crystal Refinery – this location is directly marked on your map during the main imperial ilum storyline as you will enter a phase to secure 3 different colors of crystals in the north hallway. During this mission is the only time you will encounter the Blademaster, who will guard some of the crystals.

Republic Lieutenant

From the imperial waystation head east until you get to the 4 way intersection, take this road south. At the group phase on the bridge, turn left into the side pathway with talz and duros in it. The Lieutenant is here, near a speeder bike.

Republic Major

Head north of the main Imperial Base Camp, to the heroic area made up of insulated tents. The Major is on the south end, in the fork in the road.

Republic Officer

From the Imperial Base Camp head south all the way to the Republic Base Camp. There are many Republic Officers walking around, but the easiest to pull solo will likely be this one walking in front of the barricades out front.

Republic Patroller

Head north of the main Imperial Base Camp, to the heroic area made up of insulated tents. You will find plenty of these NPCs walking around the perimeter of the tents.

Republic Salvage Officer

Head north out of the Imperial Base Camp and take either the 1st or 3rd left on the road up some ancient Jedi temple stairs to the North Jedi Ruins. Multiple targets are located in this area, but the regular Salvage Officer is located on the West side, by the wall.

Republic Sergeant

The Republic Sergeant is located inside a Republic Base that is locked by a story mission – you can only find and kill this NPC when you are on the main Imperial Story.

Closest Travel: Imperial Waystation

Republic Strategist

From the Imperial Waystation head southwest to the western jedi ruins and then southeast to the republic waystation (it may look like you can head southeast to a small bridge near the waystation – this is a group phase and will not get you there). Once outside the Republic Waystation, there are a few eligible targets wandering the perimeter, but the Strategist is located directly inside the base, at a console at the back of the room.

Republic Tactician

From the Imperial Waystation head southwest to the western jedi ruins and then southeast to the republic waystation (it may look like you can head southeast to a small bridge near the waystation – this is a group phase and will not get you there). Once outside the Republic Waystation, there are a few eligible targets wandering the perimeter, but the Tactician is on the west end of their perimeter, taking cover near ice spires and shooting with some droids toward imperial troops.

Republic Defense Droid

From the Imperial Base Camp head south all the way to the Republic Base Camp. There are many Republic Defense Droids walking around, but the easiest to pull solo will likely be these on the perimeter up top, guarding the area with the datacron in a tent.
