Rakata Armor is high-level end-game armor. The gear is dropped based on your current discipline from Operations, or bought with OP-1 Currency. This gear has a purple border and is legacy-bound. This gear changes appearances when you change factions. Rakata armor used to also used to be end-game gear at the original launch of the game as a bind-on-equip version with a purple border. The purple version from 7.0 operation drops has the same appearance. More Info
