This guide will go over over the Beastmaster of Belsavis achievement in Star Wars: The Old Republic, which requires you to find all bestiary lore objects on Belsavis.
- Acklay
- Baspoor Glider
- Kintan Crusher
- Lurker
- Rancor
- Varactyl
The achievement can be found in your Achievements section under: Location → Belsavis → Exploration.
Acklay

Starting in High Security there will be plenty of Acklay enemies – but the codex seems to drop from the Strong “Tamed” ones with the Rattataki up in the northeast prison block.

Factions: Both – Number on Map: 1
Closest Imperial Travel: Imperial Command Post
Closest Republic Travel: Republic Watchtower
Baspoor Glider

Driving underneath a Glider seems to give the codex – the easiest place to do so is in the small pond around Guardpost Beta (Imperials can safely drive around this pond without angering Guards)

Factions: Both – Number on Map: 2
Closest Imperial Travel: Resettlement Camps
Closest Republic Travel: Republic Guardpost Beta
Kintan Crusher

Any Strong (Silver) difficulty Kintan in the Tomb area of Belsavis will award the codex entry – There are plenty here in the magma cave.

Factions: Both – Number on Map: 3
Closest Imperial Travel: Lower Prison Magma Transport
Closest Republic Travel: Republic Oasis Outpost
Lurker

Lurkers can be found all over Belsavis, and any will drop the codex entry once slain. The caves and ponds in minimum security has a large concentration of them.

Factions: Both – Number on Map: 4
Closest Imperial Travel: Resettlement Camps
Closest Republic Travel: Republic Guardpost Beta
Rancor

The Escaped Rancor is Gold-level and just east of Meltwater. For imperials, either use the nearby heroic shuttle or head north from Domination and cut through the Gran Confinement.

Factions: Both – Number on Map: 5
Closest Imperial Travel: Old Enemies – Heroic Shuttle
Closest Republic Travel: Meltwater Outpost
Varactyl

There are plenty of Rabid Varactyls to fight on Belsavis, but only “Voracious” ones will award the codex. There are some voracious varactyls in multiple places throughout high security – this map pin (hiding next to a wall north of a main road) is just one of them.

Factions: Both – Number on Map: 6
Closest Imperial Travel: Imperial Command Post
Closest Republic Travel: Republic Watchtower
