SWTOR Armormech Crafting Tree

Armormech in Star Wars: The Old Republic allows you to craft over 100 different armor sets, all of which can be used cosmetically to create outfits for your character if you like the way they look. Armormech crafted sets contain some classic looks for the Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Jedi Knight and Jedi Consular and are a great way to get inexpensive force-user looks, or even to pick up some unique look for your non-force-using characters.

Levelling Up Armormech

Crafting Components is the easiest and fastest way to level up Armormech – you can easily get to the max rank of Armormech in a short afternoon if you hang out near the Crafting Trainer, and craft each rank of Components until the next one unlocks. You’ll then also have a nice stockpile of components for crafting with later!

Components

Components are the building blocks of crafting many of the Armormech armor sets – first you craft the components, then you combine the components with other crafting materials to craft the armor pieces. The schematics to craft the components come directly from the crew skills trainer when you reach the correct Armormech level.

Outfits

Some sets you can learn how to craft directly from the Armormech trainer as long as you have a high enough Armormech level, some require that you reverse-engineer items you have crafted, and others require that you find the Schematics first, usually on the GTN or from Underworld Trading missions. Many crafted armor sets also look different depending on which faction your character is on when they are wearing it. If you are just starting to craft, visit the Armormech Guide first to learn all the basics!
