Armstech Fast Crafting Leveling Guide

Armstech allows you to crafts weapons, barrels, decorations, and at a higher level, augments that upgrade your existing max-level gear. In this guide, we’ll be going over how to level up Armstech fast from ranks 1 to 700 in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

How to Craft Fast: Armstech

You can easily craft levels 1 – 700 Armstech in a short afternoon if you gather up your materials first, and hang out near the Armstech trainer to pick up new Component schematics as you gain access to them as you level up.

The general idea is to craft Components until the next Component become available. When the number to the left of your Component turns grey-colored in your crafting list, that’s generally when you need to visit the trainer for a new schematic.

The whole process will go faster the more high-influence companions you have who can craft for you, because a companion with high influence will craft each individual item faster. For example, my companion who is Influence level 50 can craft an Component in 30 seconds, versus my Influence level 1 companion who takes 1 minute and 34 seconds to craft the same component. In addition, subscribers can load up their companions with multiple crafting instructions rather than submitting them one at a time, and you can give your companions up to 5 orders at a time. At level 80, you can send up to 8 companions out at a time, so the fastest crafting would come with 8 companions each at level-50 Influence, and to save yourself time you can queue up to five item orders per companion, for a total of 40 items queued up – and you can even cancel orders as your Armstech levels up.

There are technically faster ways to level if you craft say weapons or barrels along the way, but Components are incredibly easy to keep track of, are fast to craft, and are worth a lot if you decide to sell them on the GTN – or may wind up being really useful if you decide to craft lower-level cosmetic items in the future!
