SWTOR Flashpoint Unique Rewards Guide

In Star Wars: The Old Republic, Flashpoints generally award gear, experience, credits and other types of currencies. However, there are all kinds of special and unique rewards that you can only get from specific Flashpoints, including cosmetic armor sets, decorations, and mounts. This guide covers those more unique rewards and where and how to get them!

Contents

A Traitor Among the Chiss

How to play: The A Traitor Among the Chiss Flashpoint (sometimes known as the Copero Flashpoint) has two very unique set of armors you can earn in it from any mode. If you want to play this Flashpoint solo, you will need to be level 70+, and you can enter it using the Activity Finder – the icon of “three little people” on the bottom of of your interface, and go to the solo tab. If you are willing to play with a group or use the groupfinder, you can enter Veteran mode at level 15+ with a pre-made group or queue up in the groupfinder at level 70+.

Ascendancy Soldier Armor Set

The Ascendancy Soldier set only drops from the A Traitor Among the Chiss’s first and second bosses, the Guardian Droid and Syndic Zenta, and they can even drop in story mode. If you are trying to get these pieces, every time you fight any of those bosses in any mode, you have a chance of either getting no pieces or getting a piece, and if you get a piece you only have a 1 in 6 chance of getting a specific piece… so it may take a while to collect the whole set! The pieces are Binds on Pickup, so you can not sell or trade them to another player, and they are unfortunately not legacy-bound.

  • Ascendancy Soldier’s Belt
  • Ascendancy Soldier’s Boots
  • Ascendancy Soldier’s Bracers
  • Ascendancy Soldier’s Gauntlets
  • Ascendancy Soldier’s Greaves
  • Ascendancy Soldier’s Tunic

Ascendancy Outcast Armor Set

The Ascendancy Outcast set only drops from the A Traitor Among the Chiss’s bonus and final boss, the Strike Team bonus boss and Valss at the end, and they can even drop in story mode. If you are trying to get these pieces, every time you fight any of those bosses in any mode, you have a chance of either getting no pieces or getting a piece, and if you get a piece you only have a 1 in 7 chance of getting a specific piece… so it may take a while to collect the whole set! The pieces are Binds on Pickup, so you can not sell or trade them to another player, and they are unfortunately not legacy-bound.

  • Ascendancy Outcast’s Visor
  • Ascendancy Outcast’s Breastplate
  • Ascendancy Outcast’s Greaves
  • Ascendancy Outcast’s Boots
  • Ascendancy Outcast’s Gauntlets
  • Ascendancy Outcast’s Belt
  • Ascendancy Outcast’s Bracers

Order of Zildrog Armor Set

The Order of Zildrog set with its unique green shoulder piece seems to only drop from the Nathema Conspiracy bosses, and they can even drop in story mode. The pieces are Binds on Equip though, so you can often find them for sale on the GTN.

If you get lucky while playing the Nathema Conspiracy flashpoint, you might get lucky and one of the bosses will drop the H2-WF Operator Requisition item, which is a Binds on Pickup item, that once used, gives you a new companion named H2-WF. This companion is just a rare and fun cosmetic companion, and there is no story related to it, we only know it is called The Hunter Seeker. It loves Maintenance gifts and likes Technology gifts.

Salvaged and serviced by Alliance engineers, this probe droid uses ancient technology from Nathema’s original inhabitants.

Kuat Drive Yards

How to play: The Kuat Drive-Yards (KDY) are a unique Flashpoint that can’t be found through groupfinder you can repeat to earn it’s own unique Reputation and Rewards. The vendor Raspyon Degger on Republic-side and Yn’neell Lassurg Imperial-side sells the reputation rewards. How to play: The Assault on Tython and Korriban Incursion Flashpoints have a bunch of unique rewards. If you want to play these Flashpoints solo, you will need to be level 53+, and you can enter it using the Activity Finder – the icon of “three little people” on the bottom of of your interface, and go to the solo tab. If you are willing to play with a group or use the groupfinder, you can enter Veteran mode at level 53+. Master Mode is for level 80, either to walk in with group or by using the groupfinder.

Some of the rewards are random drops, but others are purchased with Recovered Relics, an item used as a currency at the Flashpoint Vendor outside the entrance to the Flashpoints. Recovered Relics used to drop regularly within the two Flashpoints, but this broke somewhere along the way and they no longer drop. The only reliable way to get these now is through the one-time quests, Forged Alliances: Part I and Forged Alliances: Part II which each award 2 Recovered Relics, and are part of the Shadow of Revan prelude expansion story.

Recovered Relics are not bound, and can often be found on the GTN for sale by other players.

Imperial Korrealis KL-9Z SE

The Imperial Korrealis KL-9Z SE (the blue one) is a rare drop mount.

For the guide, I had originally written a long time ago that: The Imperial Korrealis KL-9Z SE drops from the Assault on Tython and Korriban Incursion on Imperial side only, and the Republic Korrealis KL-8A SE drops from the Assault on Tython and Korriban Incursion on Republic side only. It seems more likely to drop from Master Modes, but can even drop from story mode.

BUT recently a player reported they got the Republic version on an Imperial character. So it might not be limited to ertain factions.
