Makeb Map

Are you the kind of player who enjoys finding every quest and secret in the game? This interactive map of Makeb has every point of interest marked so you can find your way around more easily in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Datacron

Makeb has two datacrons, and both can be found by both factions. Makeb is well-known for its ridiculously hard green endurance datacron, which consists of multiple jumping puzzles, all of which are ridiculously difficult. Makeb also has a yellow presence datacron which can be found as part of a shorter but still hard jumping puzzle, ending inside a big orange pipe.

Lore Objects

There’s plenty of new lore objects strewn about Rise of the Hutt Cartel. All are listed on our handy map, complete with nearest quicktravel points to get you there!

Makeb Beastmaster

Though an expansion planet, Makeb still functions like the core worlds in that there’s tons of beast lore objects waiting around to be grabbed from fighting the random animals all around. Use the map and our guide to find them all!

Monsters of Makeb

The Monsters of Makeb Achievement asks for 10 specific champion-level enemies to be brought down, for this purpose it serves as Rise of the Hutt Cartel’s champion achievement. This serves as a handy Champions of Makeb-style achievement to chase just like the usual elites of the base games worlds. You’ll notice there’s about 1 worthy champ per mesa.

Travel

Every planet has multiple ways to get around besides on foot or speeder – you can take the taxi points and fly around, the quick travel point which are an instant teleport, or the heroic shuttles / transports which are granted when you pick up heroic quests for the planet.

Taxis are unlocked by default, you just need to find one taxi point and you can then ride to any of them on the planet.

Quick travel points are unlocked once you have walked near the quick travel point at least once. You can find your quick travel by pressing ‘p’ on your keyboard and going to the ‘General’ tab. You’ll need to explore the planet to unlock all of the quick travel points for future use on the planet.

  Heroic shuttles / transports are a unique way to travel that is offered to you if you pick up heroic quests, usually near the spaceport. They teleport you to directly outside where the heroic quest would start. You need to be the correct level to pick up a planet’s heroic quests to travel this way. Heroic quests can be shared with a friend.
