Manaan Achievements Guide

Looking to finish your Exploration Achievements in the Manaan Invasion Zone but having trouble finding what’s missing? This guide will direct you to each location added in 7.0 and 7.1 to fully complete each hidden achievement!

Who can do these achievements? For some objectives you will need to have finished the Story Quests added in 7.0 Legacy of the Sith, as some things are inside story phases within the Invasion Zone. For the rest, level 80 is at least recommended if you cannot stealth past the enemies. Some achievements are faction specific, so you will need a Republic and Imperial character.

There are no rewards for any of these achievements, they are just for fun.

Thank you player Zahk for all your help on this guide in tracking down the objects with me, taking screenshots of the objects, and writing up how to find them!

UPDATE December 2022, Update 7.2: “Master of Manaan” Achievement does not complete if the “Master of the Seas” Achievement was completed before 7.1.1. Thread.

Hints

Want to find these yourself, and just want some hints in the right direction? Here’s some spoiler-free tips! Use the tabs to see the other achievements hints.

Manaan Sightseer has you looking for seven things and is the easiest of the achievements:

  1. Find the Fighter’s Memoir (datapad hidden in a room down an Elevator in the Imperial Kolto Refinery map)
  2. Find the Selkath Relic (object hidden in a cave in the Ancient Selkath city, buts its buggy and only partially showing, check inside other relics)
  3. Get Devoured by the Progenitor (something you can do, not an object, in the Ancient Selkath City)
  4. Investigate Kolto Tanks (big clickable object in the Public Arrivals Port)
  5. Swim in the Underwater Pool (ONLY AVAILABLE DURING THE MANAAN STORY)
  6. Visit the Ancient Selkath City (literally just visit this map)
  7. Visit the Patriot’s Memorial (clickable object hidden in the Visitors’ Center Exploration Dome. Lots of fun stuff to mouse over and read in this area.)

The Diving Club achievements are quick and easy and involve jumping in the water off of docks (not just into the water anywhere).

  • Republic: Shipping Docks map
  • Imperial: Imperial Kolto Refinery Platform (the one where the story takes place)

Converts and Compatriots is a hidden achievement for Republic players.

You need to find three hidden clickable objects: two datapads and a paper pamphlet, all hidden on the Joint Operations Base, the map where you land on the planet. The objects are well hidden and do not glow blue.

These items disappear for 4-5 minutes until the respawn, after someone clicks them.

All Things in Moderation is a hidden achievement for Imperial players.

You need to find two hidden clickable objects: one datapad hidden in the Hidden Imperial Base, the map where you land on the planet, and a second datapad hidden one map over in the Archaeology Center Arrivals. The objects are well hidden and do not glow blue.

These items disappear for 4-5 minutes until the respawn, after someone clicks them.

Refining Suspicions is a hidden achievement for Imperial players.

You need to find three VERY WELL HIDDEN ALMOST UNFINDABLE clickable objects all hidden in the Imperial Kolto Refining Platform (the smaller map that is part of the story, not the big Refining map).

There is something barely visible or clickable in a small crate, something small stuck on the side of a big crate, and a datapad. They do not glow.

These items disappear for 4-5 minutes until the respawn, after someone clicks them.

Shipping Suspicions is a hidden achievement for Republic players.

You need to find three VERY WELL HIDDEN ALMOST UNFINDABLE clickable objects all hidden in the Shipping Docks map.

There is something very small sticking out of the side of a crate, an unusual object on the floor, and a datapad to find. They do not glow.

These items disappear for 4-5 minutes until the respawn, after someone clicks them.

Manaan Sightseer

The Manaan Sightseer achievement involves interacting with many small objects hidden throughout the Invasion Zone, or standing in specific places to receive credit. One objective will require you to be on the Veiled Threats (Imperial) or Uncertain Cooperation (Republic) mission chains. If you are completing these objectives with a friend, keep in mind the first person to click the objects will make them disappear; it takes about 5 minutes or less for the item to respawn and be clickable for the next player, so you may want to move on to the next one and come back. They’ll always appear in the same place.

Find the Fighter’s Memoir

The Fighter’s Memoir is located in the Imperial Kolto Refining Sublevel accessed by an elevator on the Imperial Kolto Refining Platform.

The Memoir is in the westernmost room on a box in the far right corner. You are looking for a small datapad with green lights on it.

Find the Selkath Relic

The Selkath Relic is located inside of a cave in the Ancient Selkath City area, called the “Ancient Visitor’s Center”.

When you get to the end of the cave, the relic will be inside of an open minecart against the right-hand wall.

If you are having trouble finding the relic inside this box, it may be sinking through it a little bit.

Slowly move your cursor around the cracks until they glow blue: then click and you should get the relic objective in your achievement tracker.

Get Devoured by the Progenitor

Getting devoured by the progenitor does not require dying: for this step in the achievement you must simply find this large statue of the Progenitor outside of a story phase in the southeast corner of the Ancient City.

Once found, jump around on the sides of the jaw to climb in to the mouth and sit in the water inside to receive credit: there is nothing to click.

The jumping can be tricky, and you may find climbing the back of the head and dropping in easier. Getting out is safe and easy.

Investigate Kolto Tanks

In a planet filled with Kolto Tanks, the specific ones you must investigate for Sightseer are located in the Public Arrivals Port Heroic Area, very close to the center of the map.

They will be inside the first doorway once you cross the bridge to the western half of the area

Swim in the Underwater Pool

This objective requires access to a personal story phase located in the Ancient Selkath City, and it’s possible to miss it if you complete the quest without standing in the correct spot.

For Imperial side, you must be on the Conservative Proposal mission given at the end of the Veiled Threats storyline.

For Republic side, you must be on the Retribution in the Rift mission given at the end of the Uncertain Cooperation storyline.

Once you get inside the Ancient Progenitor Temple and make it to the furthest room, make sure to jump into the glowing blue Kolto pool here for Sightseer credit. If you do not get into this pool for the achievement and complete the quest, you will be locked out of the temple and must either follow a friend in during their mission, or do it again on another character.

Visit the Ancient Selkath City

Visiting the City is extremely easy: the first time you arrive in the Ancient Selkath City area of the Invasion Zone (take a taxi and actually walk out into the “outside” area) you should receive credit for this step.

Visit the Patriot’s Memorial

The final objective is the Patriot’s Memorial located in the Visitor’s Center Exploration Dome.

This is a heroic area accessed by taking the eastern elevators down when landing at the Public Arrivals Port Quicktravel or Taxi.

Once inside the Dome, head to the southeastern aquarium-like area and you will notice one of the plaques on the rampart will be interactable.

There’s also a Codex lore object nearby called “Selkath Isolationists: The Syphus Collective”.

Manaan Republic Diving Club

The Diving Club Achievement for the Republic-side is quite easy, head to the center of the Shipping Docks area (the initial Republic hub for 7.0’s Manaan missions) and jump off of either of these two submersible-wrapped piers to your death. The achievement will be unlocked as you hit the water.

Manaan Imperial Diving Club

When taking the taxi imperial-side to the northern half of the refining platform, the Diving Club Pier to jump off of is right next to you on this cross of three piers. The taxi droid is standing on the Eastern pier, and jumping off of the Northern pier will give you credit for the Diving Club. The Western pier (across from the taxi) does not work and you will simply die.

Converts and Compatriots

The Converts and Compatriots achievement is a secret set of datapads and a note detailing a secret cult on Manaan.

Republic-Only

  • Find the Cult Pamphlet
  • Find the Potential Convert’s Log
  • Find the New Cult Member’s Log

All Things in Moderation

All Things in Moderation is a secret achievement involving two hidden datapads in the Imperial Areas of Manaan.

Imperial-Only

  • Find the Lost Datapad
  • Find the Misplaced Datapad

The first is located in the main hub where players will pick up their daily missions and report in the Veiled Threats mission chain.

You will see it stashed behind some crates in the corner of the hallway leading to the personal story phase.

The second datapad is hidden just before reaching the “outside” area of the Ancient Selkath City.

Between the Taxi Landing area and the “outside”, check inside the large open crate.

Refining Suspicions

This is another secret achievement that involves finding three very hidden objects (they do not glow unless the cursor is on them) in the original mission area for the Imperial Manaan Invasion Zone. Note that if you are helping a friend find these small objects, you will no longer see them if you have already finished the achievement.

Imperial-Only

  • Find the Tracking Beacon
  • Find the Faked Credentials
  • Find the Listening Device

The first is a Tracking Device located on a cylinder stacked on top of a box near the landing Taxi for the northern Refining platform.

The 2nd object is a tracking beacon placed inside this open craft on the northwestern shuttle landing pad. It is extremely tiny and easy to miss.

The final object for the Imperial Achievement is a small datapad stashed behind this crate in the southwestern corner of the map. It may be clipping into the ground or the box somewhat.

Shipping Suspicions

This is another secret achievement that involves finding three very hidden objects (they do not glow unless the cursor is on them) in the original mission area for the Republic Manaan Invasion Zone. Note that if you are helping a friend find these small objects, you will no longer see them if you have already finished the achievement.

Republic-Only

  • Find the Altered Manifest
  • Find the Suspicious Backpack
  • Find the Burned Dataspike

The first is a Burnt Dataspike sticking out of this computer terminal at the very first tent you arrive next to when quick traveling to the Shipping Docks map.

The 2nd item to find for this achievement is located on top of a shipping crate in the middle of the area, a small datapad.

The final object for this secret achievement is a Suspicious Backpack, found by going as far south as you can into a dead end hallway, and jumping past the Selkath with a broom into this dark corner.

I’ve Got a Bad Feeling…

The I’ve Got a Bad Feeling… hidden achievement is automatically earned once you found all the objects for Refining Suspicions and Shipping Suspicions, so you need an Imperial and Republic character to complete it.

Manaan: Counter-Insurgent

This hidden achievement only shows up once you have completed two other achievements:

  • Isolating the Isolationists – defeat 50  Isolationist Droids
  • Dumpstering Droids – defeat 50 Isolationist Selkath

Explorer of Manaan (Removed)

The Explorer of Manaan achievement requires that you unlock all the Manaan maps, but it was broken on release, and I think recently is was removed from the list of achievements.

Our team is aware of that and is currently looking into it. To make sure this is visible for all players, I’ll add it to the known issues list: Explorer of Manaan Achievement cannot be completed.

Master of Manaan

This Achievement was unavailable when Manaan launched as you could not get Explorer of Manaan due to it being bugged. At some point, this requirement changed to instead be Master of the Seas… but Master of the Seas also seems to be bugged, as I and other players have it checked off in our achievements, but it is not being successfully checked off in the greater Master of Manaan achievement.

  • Master of the Seas (complete both Republic and Imperial story – bugged, does not seem to be checked off )
  • Manaan Sightseer (find the seven objects/areas)
  • Manaan: Counter-Insurgent (defeat 50  Isolationist Droids and 50 Isolationist Selkath on Manaan)

If support sends you to this page I’m so sorry, this is a fan site, not an official help document haha, I do the best I can. – Swtorista

Previously:

  • Explorer of Manana (explore all the maps – was bugged)
  • Manaan Sightseer (find the seven objects/areas)
  • Manaan: Counter-Insurgent (defeat 50  Isolationist Droids and 50 Isolationist Selkath on Manaan)
