SWTOR Mek-Sha Decorations Mission Guide

The Mek-Sha Decorations Missions are a set of tasks to complete from a datapad in Slugfall Cantina on Mek-Sha, that once completed, unlock up to 6 decorations purchasable from a vendor. These decorations are unique to the missions and cannot be obtained in any other way – so read on for where to find this datapad and how to get it done!

Thank you player Zahk for writing this guide to help players find these hidden decorations for their strongholds!

How to Start

To start these Mek-Sha missions, travel to the planet and take a taxi or quicktravel over to Slugfall Cantina. Upon entry, stick left and get up the metal ramps, and follow this 2nd floor catwalk all the way around to the opposite side. The datapad will be at the end, on a table. Note that you must be done the main story missions that take place on Mek-Sha before this datapad is interactable. Check the image below for precise location.

The Prototype

Find the Goods Dealer // Recover The Prototype

Tips:

  • Immediately upon recieving the mission you can head downstairs to the back of the first floor and get near the Devaronian Shady Character who opens up as a vendor for the first two Decorations: Mek-Sha Pirate’s Planning Table (75,000 credits) and Streetside Mek-Sha Bench (75,000 credits).
  • This resolves the first objective and immediately gives you “Recover the Prototype”. Leave the Cantina and take a left onto the road on your map – drive across the huge bridge to leave the Slugfall area and head towards the Contested Gangland section of Three Points.
  • On the north edge of Gangland should be an open tunnel lined with couches. use this to get into the center and head up the ramp on your left. a Silver-level enemy named “Sever” is carrying the prototype. Take it back to the Slugfall Cantina, there will be a dropbox for hand-in by the bar.
  • This unlocks two further decorations at the Shady Character – Mek-Sha Hideout Chair (75,000 credits) and Mek-Sha Pirate’s Couch (75,000 credits).

Market Research

Collect Surveillance Devices // Plant Surveillance Devices 0/5

Tips:

  • This next mission will be available at the datapad immediately following completion of the previous one. It asks you to scoop up some surveillance bugs from the Cantina and place them in the Bazaar. You can start by grabbing them from the dropbox immediately beneath you – the same one that the prototype was handed into in the previous mission.
  • After that, head to the Bazaar. Leave the cantina heading left down the road and across the big bridge. This building you enter from the bridge is the Bazaar. The 5 planting locations are easily spotted if you simply stare at the inner walls of the Bazaar’s main room and simply walk around clockwise. They are pictured above – just easily accessed rectangles at eye-level.
  • You may then safely return to the Devaronian Shady Dealer and the mission should auto-complete; unlocking the final two decorations: Mek-Sha Ceiling Light (75,000 credits) and Mek-Sha Pirate’s Bunk (75,000 Credits).
