SWTOR Date Night Guide and Achievement Rewards – Lana, Theron, Koth, Arcann romance!

Date Night Companion Missions in Star Wars: The Old Republic are designed to give players personal time with their love interests. These weekly repeatable Alliance Alert missions feature fully-voiced, cinematic-only scenes that are unique to the partner’s interest, whether that’s going out for drinks at the cantina, a thought-provoking game of Dejarik, or maybe even some sparring practice.

The custscenes are very short – only a minute or two long, but very sweet, cinematic, and fully voiced.

How to Start

If you are eligible for a “Date Night” quest with Theron, Lana, Koth or Arcann, you can find it in your Alerts area in your Companions window (press “N” on your keyboard). It will have [Date Night] at the beginning. To start it, click the big purple Travel to Alert Location button.

Didn’t romance anyone? Lana Romance Bug awesome!: If you have already moved past Chapter 9 of KOTFE, and didn’t romance Lana, there is a fun bug right now! You can REPLAY Chapter 9, and when you get to the option to speak with one of your companions, choose Lana, [Flirt] with her, and say yes to the Romance. This will permanently place you in a romance with Lana Beniko and allow you to start her [Date Night] quest! This is great for players who maybe didn’t romance anyone but wanted to see a Date Night quest. I am unsure how this bug would affect characters already in a romance, so only do it if you aren’t worried about your character being in a romance with Lana. This does not seem to work for other companions.

How to Repeat

The Alliance Alert will only show up ONCE to help you get started.

To repeat the quest, go to your SHIP and re-find the little datapad in your ship’s bedroom with a quest marker over it.

The quest is repeatable once per week, and seems to reset every Tuesday (with other reset events).

Date Night not showing up?

• Date Night quests are repeatable once per week only. [Likely reset Tuesdays.]
• These Date Night missions will only be available to players who are currently in a romance with these companion characters. No romance, no date night.
  • Arcann Romance Guide
    • Must save Arcann on Voss In Chapter 1 of Knights of the Eternal Throne
    • Must complete the Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion
    • Must complete “Unmasked Regret” Alliance alert and [FLIRT]
    • Then you can do [Date Night] Dueling Hearts
    • Make sure you don’t have Arcann as your active companion when you go into the instance
  • Lana Romance Guide
    • You must have successfully started romance with Lana in Chapter 9 of Knights of the Fallen Empire
    • Then you can do [Date Night] Dejarik for Two
    • COOL BUG: If you have already moved past Chapter 9 of KOTFE, and didn’t romance Lana, there is a fun bug right now!   • Theron Shan Romance Guide
    • You must have successfully started romance with Theron in Chapter 9 of Knights of the Fallen Empire
    • Theron must still be your companion in the story.
    • Then you can do [Date Night] You Work Too Hard
  • Koth Romance Guide
    • You must have successfully started romance with Koth in Chapter 9 of Knights of the Fallen Empire
    • You must finish Chapter Chapter 9 of Knights of the Fallen Empire
    • Then you can do [Date Night] A Place to Call Home
• Date Night missions only show up when the character companions are currently present in the story. (So try starting a different Chapter – maybe they are not available in the chapter you have open.)
• Date Night will not work if you used a Character Token (ex Commander’s Token or Outlander Token) and skipped past the story where you would start a romance. Using items that automatically complete story content will not unlock Date Night Missions, as the default choices that are made do not focus on character romances.
• If your companion is unavailable in the story, that companion’s Date Night Mission will not be available.
• Will playing Date Night affect my character’s story progression or relationship status? Though it will not affect your relationship status, Date Night Missions will always be available while the romance with the companion is active.

Other Companions

While 7.4.1 debuts four companions, rest assured that more are on the way! The developers goal is to release 1-2 Date Night Missions alongside Galactic Seasons with the intention of having a polished and unique scene for every companion. They want to strike a balance in the order that we release class story companions, so hopefully your favorite companion is in the next batch we intend to release!

Achievements

After a number of playthroughs of the missions, players will be granted a unique title and decoration that embodies their special dates.

Arcann Date Night Achievements

• Date Night: Working Up a Sweat – Complete “Dueling Hearts” 1 time (first time) – no reward
• Date Night: Sparring Practice – Complete “Dueling Hearts” 3 times (3 weeks) – Reward: Legacy Title: Arcann’s Admirer
• Date Night: Working Up a Sweat – Complete “Dueling Hearts” 5 times (5 weeks) – Reward: Mounted Training Sabers decoration

Koth Date Night Achievements

• Date Night: Surprise Party – Complete “A Place to Call Home” 1 time (first time) – no reward
• Date Night: Planting New Roots – Complete “A Place to Call Home” 3 times (3 weeks) – Reward: Legacy Title: Koth’s Kindred
• Date Night: Koth’s a Keeper – Complete “A Place to Call Home” 5 times (5 weeks) – Reward: Salted Marsh Grub Platter decoration

Lana Date Night Achievements

• Date Night: The Dejarik Date – Complete “Dejarik for Two” 1 time (first time) – no reward
• Date Night: A Worth Opponent – Complete “Dejarik for Two” 3 times (3 weeks) – Reward: Legacy Title: Lana’s Lover
