Kira Carsen Romance Reunion Guide, post-Onslaught

Romanceable by: Jedi Knight male characters & Jedi Knight female characters (Male characters who had already started a romance with Kira can continue it when they re-unite with her after Onslaught, female characters can start a new romance.)

About: Kira has been on an important mission for the good of the galaxy after the Outlander disappeared, and has made a powerful Sith ally.

How to start romance: Kira Carsen as a Jedi Knight’s romance can be started near the end of the Onslaught expansion, at level 70 or over, started from the glowing blue terminal on your ship.

To start her romance, after the Flashpoint on Corellia in the Onslaught expansions storyline, Kira will reveal herself, but you will have no romance dialogue options. Later in the storyline, the Jedi Knight will meet her again. She will ask you not to worry her again, choose the dialogue option “[Flirt] Is that really all?” your character will say “It sounds like there’s more you want to say, Kira.” but you will then continue discussing the important mission and meet with her later in your base on Odessan. [[not an alliance alert, right?]] She will tell you about how she has always cared about you, and when she confesses her love and asks “Cards on the table. What do you think?” choose the option “I love you too.” and then a box will pop up that says “This choice will start your romance with Kira Carsen. Doing so will end any other romances you may be involved in. Are you sure you want to proceed?” click “Continue” to continue your romance with Kira, or “Cancel” to return to the two dialogue options. If you do not want to continue your romance, instead of kissing her, choose the “This isn’t right.” dialogue option.

To continue her romance if you had already romanced her as a male Jedi Knight, after the Flashpoint on Corellia in the Onslaught expansions storyline, Kira will reveal herself and hug the Jedi Knight, but you will have no dialogue options.

• Later in the Onslaught storyline, the Jedi Knight will meet her again. She will ask you not to worry her again, choose the dialogue option “[Flirt] I missed you, too.” your character will say “I’ve waited a long time for you to come back to me, Kira.” but you will then continue discussing the important mission and meet with her later in your base on Odessan.
• Near the end of the Onslaught expansion, you will get an Alliance Alert called The Padawan Returns, where Kira will reminisce about the Jedi Order. If you are just friends, she will express that she is looking forward to new adventures and rebuilding the Jedi Order. If you were in a romance with you, she will tell you how much she loved you and how much she missed you, and when she says “Do you know how badly I want to kiss you? Pretty bad.” choose the option “Then kiss me.” and then a box will pop up that says “This choice will resume your romance with Kira Carsen. Doing so will end any other romances you may be involved in. Are you sure you want to proceed?” click “Continue” to continue your romance with Kira, or “Cancel” to return to the two dialogue options. If you do not want to continue your romance, instead of kissing her, choose the “I can’t do this.” dialogue option, telling her that it has been too long. She says she will eventually get over it, say you are still friends, and that she will stay around.
• Female characters, and male characters who did not romance her in the class story, can start a romance with Kira during The Padawan Returns, explaining that she always loved and admired you as a Mentor, but it took losing you to realize that she was always in love with you, and having kept it bottled up. She asks, “Cards on the table. What do you think?” and you can reply, “I love you, too.” or “This isn’t right.” If you choose to say you love her too, a box will pop up that says “This choice will start your romance with Kira Carsen. Doing so will end any other romances you may be involved in. Are you sure you want to proceed?” click “Continue” to continue your romance with Kira, or “Cancel” to return to the two dialogue options. She will be very happy and you will kiss. If you do not want to continue your romance, instead of kissing her, choose “This isn’t right” – you will say you respect and admire her, but say you don’t feel you can take this further. She says she kind of expected that reply, that she will eventually get over it, say you are still friends, and that she will stay around.
• Kira has a Date Night repeatable quest available.

Date Night: Date Night Companion Missions in Star Wars: The Old Republic are designed to give players personal time with their love interests. These weekly repeatable Alliance Alert missions feature fully-voiced, cinematic-only scenes that are unique to the partner’s interest, whether that’s going out for drinks at the cantina, a thought-provoking game of Dejarik, or maybe even some sparring practice. If you are eligible for a “Date Night” quest, you can find it in your Alerts area in your Companions window (press “N” on your keyboard). It will have [Date Night] at the beginning. To start it, click the big purple Travel to Alert Location button. The Alliance Alert will only show up ONCE to help you get started. To repeat the quest, go to your SHIP and re-find the little datapad in your ship’s bedroom with a quest marker over it. The quest is repeatable once per week, and seems to reset every Tuesday (with other reset events).

To do Kira’s Date Night:

• You do not need to have originally romanced Kira in your Jedi Knight story but…
• You must have successfully resumed or started your romance with Kira as a Jedi Knight in the Onslaught expansion
• You likely must have completed the The Padawan Returns alliance alert that comes at the end of Onslaught and locked in your romance with Kira rather than denying her
• Then you can do [Date Night] The Strength of Devotion

Romance continuation: After Onslaught, after the Hearts and Minds quest, the player will meet up with Kira and Scourge again. If the player has romanced Kira, the player will have a few minutes alone with her and find somewhere to “disappear for a while” together. Echoes of Oblivion
