Yavin 4 Faction Espionage Secret Achievement

This guide will cover the Faction Espionage secret achievements on Yavin 4, worth 5 achievement points each in the exploration category. The achievement description is as follows:

• Republic Espionage: Placed the Republic banner in a discreet spot behind the Imperial Forward Camp.
• Imperial Espionage: Placed the Imperial banner in a discreet spot behind the Republic Forward Camp.

As a secret achievement, it can be pretty tricky to see the direct spot that they need you to head to – but “behind the camp” is pretty apt. This achievement will require at least two characters that can reach Yavin, one on Republic and one on Imperial side. For each achievement, you will take your character and bring it to the ENEMY faction’s camp. You cannot interact with the discreet spot at your own camp.

For Republic Espionage, start in Verdant Swamp and head to the northernmost cave exit. This will lead you to The Breaking, which you should use to head north into Prowler’s Trail. Once in Prowler’s Trail, head north until you’re above the Imperial camp that they land at. Obviously, all the guards are hostile so don’t get too close – just go around until you’re north of the camp – the Discreet Spot is nestled between the roots of a tree directly next to the camp tents. The image below should help you figure out which tree exactly, once you’re north of the camp and looking at it.

For Imperial Espionage, start in Prowler’s Trail and head to the southernmost cave exit. This will lead you to The Breaking, which you should use to head south into Verdant Swamp. Once in Verdant Swamp, head towards the Eastern wall of the zone, then head south until you’re very close to the Republic Camp. Obviously, all the guards are hostile so don’t get too close – just hug the wall and there will be a Jedi guard kneeling in the small opening between the cliff and the Republic Camp – the Discreet Spot is nestled between the roots of a tree directly next to this guard.
