SWTOR Done and Dusted Uprising Guide

Done and Dusted is an Uprising in Star Wars: The Old Republic, and is like a short, story-light level 70+ Flashpoint with three bosses and a few surprises including the ability to bring a desert pet along for the fight. Done and Dusted comes in three different difficulties: Story. Veteran, and Master, and is meant to be done with a group of four at level 70+, and there is no solo mode of Done and Dusted available. This is the Tatooine Uprising, and has a fun little pet mechanic after the first boss.

If you are new to Uprisings, you may want to first visit the basic Uprisings Guide for tips about the quests to pick up before you go in. For the most part, you don’t really need a guide for Uprisings unless your group is struggling with a specific boss, especially in Master Mode, or if you want to learn more about taming beasts as part of the achievements. Uprisings are meant to be very accessible and short, fun, run-and-gun missions.

How to Start

All Uprisings start at the glowing blue table in the Combat Training section of the Republic or Imperial Fleet. You can also enter the Groupfinder for Veteran Mode, just keep in mind if you filter for just Done and Dusted, you won’t be eligible for the bonus groupfinder rewards for running a random Uprising.

Once you have picked up an Uprising, left-click the icon of a shuttle in your quest log to travel to the Uprising.

Difficulty Modes

  • Story Mode: Easiest mode, designed for four players but likely doable with 2 or more decent players in any roles and their companions. Likely not soloable except for extremely exceptional players.
  • Veteran Mode: Middle difficulty but not that much harder, designed for four players but likely doable with 2 or more decent players in any roles and their companions
  • Master Mode: Quite difficult mode, most groups will need a full four players, including 1 healer, 1 tank and 2 damage players. Very competent groups might be able to do it with 3 players and one companion. Your team should be decently geared, understand their class and role, and be ready to do some mechanics and stay out of bad stuff on the ground.

Done and Dusted Power-Ups

While running Done and Dusted, keep you eyes open for glowing blue crates with powerups inside. To open a crate, you can right-click it, then walk over the item it reveals.

Once you’re carrying a power-up, you’ll get a temporary ability to use it, and you can get up to one of each kind with two uses each. These crates will be hidden throughout the Done and Dusted Uprising.

Entrance

The Done and Dusted Uprising starts you off in a large sandy area – head through the arch when your group is ready to fight, as you’ll be fighting waves of enemies, so make sure to wait until your group is loaded in. To get through the red door, you need to kill all the enemies and more show up over time.

Boss 1: Jai Quallo

Jai Quallo is the first boss of Done and Dusted. In Story and Veteran Mode, he’s quite easy to fight with a group, and no tactics are needed.

Medpacs: In Story Mode and Veteran Mode, there are three medpacs kinda hidden nearby – one under the ramp platform and one to the far right coming down the ramp, and one to the right of the bosses. There are usually three medpacs hidden near every boss fight.

Master Mode Tips

  • Jai Quallo will summon many smaller enemies. Defeat them first.
  • The smaller enemies are stunnable.
  • He has an ability called Lacerating Shot which is a damage-over-time put on a random player. This hurts quite a bit in Master Mode, so make sure to keep whoever was targeted healed up.
  • Have your whole team group up on the boss so the smaller enemies also stay grouped up when they appear.
  • There are no medpacs in Master Mode.

Wild Attunement

After you defeat the first boss Jai Quallo, there will be a blue item floating near the boss – each of your party members can run over it to pick it up.

This will give you a temporary ability called Wild Attunement.

Run on top of one of the nearby whisps to summon an animal friend and use the temporary ability!

A second ability will show up allowing you to summon a desert friend to fight alongside you.

When you summon a creature, it will delete whatever exsiting creature you have out. You can attune up to three creatures on your temporary quickbars at a time (including duplicates), but can only summon one at a time.

Each beast will run around with you for one minute thirty seconds you can see how long is left with the little orange fist in their air buff on your buff bar.

There is a special achievement for finding one of each beasty! There’s also some more whisps hidden behind the final building you can go get after the final fight.

To move forward after Jai Quallo is defeated, right-click the blue button on the gate.

Boss 2: Crack-Shot Aggy

Crack-Shot Aggy is the second boss of Done and Dusted. In Story and Veteran Mode, she’s quite easy to fight with a group, but there are a few mechanics to pay attention for! Start by clearing out the room of smaller enemies before fighting her.

Aggy will randomly target one member of the group, and their name will show up in red text in the middle of the screen. That player should run behind a box or crate and break their line-of-sight to Aggy so she can’t shoot them.

The other hard part of the fight is there being so many enemies – make sure to clear out the smaller enemies so they don’t kill you before you focus on Aggy.

Master Mode Tips

  • Clear the room first all the adds before fighting Aggy.
  • In Master Mode, mines will appear all over the ground when you start the fight. These will hurt you and knock you back if you step on them!
  • The person tanking or who has aggro will always need to “get behind cover” to break line of site when the red text appears on the screen.
  • The player who gets cryo grenaded and stunned can use their Stunbreaker to get out, and likely will want due to a follow up with a fire grenade.

Bonus Boss: Rakesh the Foul

After you fight Aggy, the ability to fight a bonus boss named Rakesh the Foul will open up. Follow the arrows into a building that was not open before, guarded by Security Droids. Head up the ladder inside, and you’ll be able to fight Rakesh upstairs.

He has a lot of knockbacks… if  you fall off the building, right-click the glowing blue grapple hook points to get back up.

In general, avoid the red circles, and keep in mind the red triangles and large red circle will knock you off!

Master Mode Tips

  • There is only one difference in Master Mode for Rakesh, and that is his reverse enrage – the longer you fight him, the weaker you get.
  • Reverse Enrage Stacking Debuff on players – Plague of Anger – Rakesh’s opponents receive reduced healing and take additional damage. Effect worsens with additional stacks.

Boss 3: Viper Walker

The Viper Walker fight is pretty easy, just make sure to kill the repair droids when they pop up or they’ll heal the walker! They will have a green beam of light healing the boss.

Master Mode Tips

  • In Master Mode, Exterminator Droids that do damage will appear very often. If everyone attacks them, and no one attacks the boss, you’ll never make in progress, so split up your team.
  • When the Repair droids show up, have your entire team focus on killing them quickly before they can repair the boss.
  • The boss does a small red circle called Eradicate on the tank or player with aggro, it can hurt quite a bit, so step out of it.

When you are done the fight, there is a button upstairs to click to progress. This will summon a bunch of smaller enemies to defeat before you can move on.

Boss 4: Bel Nerodia and G9-RX

The final fight is Bel Nerodia and G9-RX. We honestly just beat them up until they fell over.

Master Mode Tips

  • As far as I can tell, you can focus down the smaller enemy Bel Nerodia, then do the droid G9 after.
  • Split your team up a bit between the boss and smaller enemies that appear.
  • Stay out of the red circles.

To leave Done and Dusted, use the Exit Area button after the final boss is complete.

Story & Lore

Hylo Visz: “We’ve got a problem. The Dust Viper gang ambushed one of our Alliance patrols-and made off with Odessen security data. Now they’re selling it to the highest bidder. We can shut down those vicious scum bags, but you’ll need to hit them hard. And fast. Stomp into the Dust Vipers’ den, and take down their leader, Bel Nerodia. Then recover our data. Can’t forget that.”
