The Fortified Lacqerous armor set is a crafted armor set that Armormechs can craft at armormech level 300 if they have found the schematic in Star Wars: The Old Republic. This set is wearable only by Republic characters, who are level 39 or higher on any Republic class in the Outfit Designer but is restricted to characters that can wear medium armor in the normal equipment slots, which includes Smugglers and Jedi Knight Sentinel, and classes that can wear heavy armor including Troopers and Jedi Knight Guardians, though they will receive a stat penalty.

Crafting the Fortified Lacqerous Armor Set as an Armormech

Armormechs can craft the Fortified Lacqerous armor set at armormech level 300 or higher. To craft this set, Armormechs must first find the schematic which can be found in the world and through crew skill missions at random. The easiest way to get this schematic is to buy it from another player on the GTN. This schematic is not always available on the GTN, so players should continue checking the GTN over time to see if it becomes available.

Buying the Fortified Lacqerous Armor Set from the GTN with Credits

Pieces of the Fortified Lacqerous set can be found on the GTN, which is an auction house where players can buy and sell unbound items. To find the GTN at level 10 or higher, look for the Galactic Trade Network section of the Republic or Imperial Fleet.

It can sometimes be difficult to find specific pieces on the GTN, especially because this armor set can only be crafted by Armormechs who have found the schematic.
