Lore-appropriate footwear for SWTOR Togruta

Togrutas in the Star Wars universe don’t always follow their own lore, but if you would like yours to get closer to their homeworld roots you’ll need to find a pair of shoes that lets them be close to the earth. A lore-appropriate Togruta would not habitually wear shoes, and there are only a few pairs of footwear in SWTOR that will allow you to go barefoot.

Togrutas were known for their habit of not wearing shoes; they believed that the land was spiritually connected to them, and wearing shoes cut themselves from a bond with the land.

In SWTOR, to gain the statistical bonuses of wearing armor, you must have a pair of “boots” on. There is no way to hide your boots, so you must get creative with your footwear if you want your Togruta to be lore-appropriate.

Many Togrutas in canon media (including the two most famous Togrutas) do wear footwear, so it’s up to you which version you would like to follow!

Covert Feet Energy Armor – cartel pack item, check GTN. This is the only footwear in the game that is truly “invisible”. It will likely be pretty expensive.covert-feet-energy-armor-togruta
Slave Girl Slippers – requires Social II, bought on Nar Shaddaa. The cheapest and sparkliest option! Can only be worn by female characters. There is a similar pair available if you have access to the Security Key vendor.
