Makeb reputation and rewards can be gained by doing the Makeb dailies and the Makeb heroics, which can be started once you finish the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion on the main story on the story path. These can all be picked up on the Makeb orbital station and on-planet.

The Makeb Reputation decorations cost Universal Prefabs, a crafted item, plus the correct Reputation Rank with Makeb to use the item.
