SWTOR Galactic Seasons Guide and Rewards – Season 11, Light and Shadow!

Galactic Seasons in Star Wars: The Old Republic, similar to a ‘battle pass’ in other games, allows you to complete daily and weekly objectives to earn rewards over the course of five months. Galactic Seasons is available to both free-to-play players and subscribers at no additional cost, with subscribers having an additional reward track to gain cosmetic rewards from. In addition, you will gain tokens which you can spend at a vendor to buy previously-retired items and access to exclusive strongholds.

How to Play Galactic Seasons

To open the Galactic Seasons menu, roll over the icon of a person in the main menu, and choose Login & Seasons Rewards from the dropdown menu. There are multiple tabs for this window, make sure to select Galactic Seasons at the top.

In the Galactic Seasons panel, you can see what level you are at near the top left. To gain a level in Galactic Seasons, you need to gain 8 Galactic Seasons points, which you can earn by completing objectives. You can see what objectives are available by clicking the Objectives tab.

To earn a level in Galactic Seasons, you need to earn 8 points. Some objectives are worth more points than others, and you can see their value by clicking on them in the objectives list. Only the activities listed in the Seasons Objectives tab count for Galactic Seasons points.

You can complete one daily per day, and up to seven of the ten weeklies per week. The Daily Objective, which will always be to earn 25,000 Conquest Points through whatever type of content you want, will always give you 2 points, and each weekly objectives gives you 8 – 12 points each to subscribers and 6-10 points for free-to-play and preferred players. So if you did your daily every day as a subscriber you could get 14 points per week, and if you did the max of seven weeklies a week, you would earn 64-80 points per week, depending on which ones you chose.

In addition, if you log in 4 times within a week before the reset, you’ll get bonus points just for logging in. Subscribers get 8 points, and free-to-play and preferred players get 4 points.

To reach level 100 and earn every reward on the track, which is 800 points total, you could do it in about ten weeks, or even less if you also get the login rewards, of a total of twenty weeks available in the 5-month-long season, so you would need to complete roughly half the objectives available each week.

Free-to-play, preferred, subscribed: While Galactic Seasons is often compared to a “battlepass” in other games, it does not need to be purchased in anyway, and is available to free, preferred and subscribed players. You will notice though that there are two tracks – a free track at the top, and a subscriber track at the bottom. Free-to-play and preferred players can only earn the first set of rewards, while subscribers can earn both. If you subscribe, you do gain the ability to claim your rewards retroactively – so players who are trying to save money may be interested in working their way up the track while unsubscribed, and then re-subscribing near the end of the season while it’s still active.

Legacy-Wide: Galactic Seasons is legacy-wide and shared between all your characters on your server – you can play on your Jedi Knight or Imperial Agent and they’ll both share the same objectives and points score. This also means you can go onto a different server and work on the track independently there as well, and earn the rewards a second time on that second server, which is a popular choice for players who like to use Galactic Seasons to earn Cartel Coins.

Credits & Cartel Coins: Keep in mind, if you start late, it’s ok – you can start now, and unlock what you missed out on near the end with cartel coins or credits. This is also great if you play more casually and don’t have time to complete many objectives each week.

Seasons Track and Rewards

Galactic Season 11 is now live and running August 18 – February 9 – 15, 2026 (longer than normal) and is called “Light and Shadow”. This and last season are going to be different from previous ones – you will be able to to earn the Companions and rewards from previous seasons if you missed them, in addition to some new rewards. Season 11 in Update 7.9.1 will have the rewards from Season 2 and 4, with companions Fen Zeil, and Amity.

New Rewards

There are unfortunately not very many new rewards for players who have already earned the returning rewards, however there are two really cool companion mounts later down the track, a new reskinned mount at level 1, and a new armor and some companion customizations in the Achievements.

Natatorial Thurrb: Subscriber track level 1

Galactic Seasons Tokens

Galactic Seasons Tokens can be earned only during Galactic Seasons, by completing the active Galactic Seasons track. You do not get a token every Galactic Seasons level, and subscribers can earn a total of 15 tokens per season, and player on the free track can earn 5 Galactic Season Tokens per season. These tokens are legacy-wide, and you can spend your Galactic Seasons Tokens at the Ki’at Thavo and Jaleit Nall vendors.

Vendors

There are two different vendors related to Galactic Seasons.

Ki’at Thavo Vendor Rewards

Ki’at Thavo has special items that are only available to be purchased with Galactic Seasons Tokens during the current Season 11 season, some of which are not available on the track. Others are ones like decorations or dyes you just might want more copies of. Ki’at Thav is a vendor located in the Supplies section of the Fleet.

Season 11: This season, the Ki’at Thavo vendor does not have many unique rewards – there are some new titles, but most of the rewards are returning decorations from Season 2 and 4 that are not on the Season 11 track.

Some of these rewards are available on the vendor for Free-to-Play and Preferred players immediately, since they can never earn them on the track unless they subscribe. When the season ends, all the rewards listed above will be available for all players until the beginning of the next season, giving Subscribers the opportunity to purchase the rewards they are missing – so if you are a subscriber, you won’t see and accidentally buy the ones you might earn in the future. You will see the unique ones or any that you can get multiple copies of, like decorations.

Jaleit Nall Vendor

Jaleit Nall allows player to purchase previously-retired items with Galactic Season tokens, including retired companions, mounts, pets, weapons, armors and more. She also offers two unique Strongholds for sale that you can only get through galactic Seasons. The items available rotate on a weekly schedule, in four different batches. They continue to be available even after the Season ends, though you can only earn tokens during an active season. Jaleit Nell is a vendor located in the Supplies section of the Fleet.

After one week, the group is cycling out for 3 weeks and replaced by the following group. For example, Group A will remain active for 1 week, and then cycle out for 3 weeks and be replaced by Group B.  To allow players to get the rewards they want, Jaleit Nall will always be available regardless of whether or not the season is active.

In addition, these items are “always” available, but some will not show up unless you earned them from previous seasons, for example all of the gifts that cost credits.

The Republic Fleet or Imperial Fleet stronghold costs 8 Galactic Seasons Tokens and can be bought from Jaleit Nall at any time, they do not cycle. The Mek-Sha Stronghold costs 14 Tokens, and also does not cycle. The Copero stronghold is unlocked in stages, costing a total of 18 tokens.

Achievements

There are some special limited-time achievements for Season 11.

Achievement Hunters! Be aware there is 26 weeks in this season, it is a bit strange and six weeks longer than normal. The achievement requires completing 130 weekly objectives, rather than 100 like before, since the season is longer.

If you are an achievement hunter, your goals will include completing all of these tasks:

• Complete 130 weekly season objectives (out of a possible 182 this longer season) during the season (Reward – Legacy Title: Perfectly Balanced)
• Reach Rank 100 on the Galactic Seasons track during the season
• And these two unique tasks:
  • Defeat 1,250 enemies with Amity as your Companion during the season
  • Defeat 1,250 enemies with Fen Zeil as your Companion during the season

If you manage to do all five of these during the season you will complete the meta achievement and receive the The Penumbra Armor Set and Customizations Set, a unique box that has an armor set for you  This five-part achievement is way above and beyond what Seasons is expecting you to normally do, and is mainly a meta achievement for players who are playing efficiently 2-3 days or more per week.

The boxed reward includes:

• The Penumbra Armor Set (for you, armor set, legacy-bound)
• Amity’s Penumbra Customization
• Fen Zeil’s Headhunter Customization
• Fen Zeil’s Blaster Twirler Customization

Objectives

Objectives are a list of tasks that allow you to earn points to move up the Galactic Seasons Track. The objectives rotate on weekly basis, every Tuesday, and you can see the current objectives by opening the Galactic Seasons menu by rolling over the icon of a person in the main menu, and choosing Login & Seasons Rewards from the dropdown menu. There are multiple tabs for this window, make sure to select Galactic Seasons at the top, and then choose the Objectives tab in the middle.

Objective Points

• Subscribers receive 2 points per daily, and 8 – 12 points per weekly, plus 8 points just from logging in 4 times a week.
• Free-to-play and preferred players receive 2 points per daily and 6 – 10 points per weekly (two less points per weekly), plus 4 points just from logging in 4 times a week.
• There is always also a daily objective to earn 25,000 Conquest Points.
• There is always 11 weeklies available, and you can complete up to 7 of them per week, of your choice. Some weeklies are worth more points than others.

Cartel Coins/Credits

You can also pay Credits or Cartel Coins to unlock levels on the track rather than earning them.

Cartel Coins: It’s a flat 100 Cartel Coin fee for each level you want to unlock. So if you are at level zero, and want to jump all the way to level 100, it will cost 10,000 CC. If you’d already earned some levels, for example are level 3 already, the cost to rank up goes down by one hundred times your current level, so going level 3 to level 100 would only cost you 9,700 Cartel Coins. It is not cheaper or more expensive to unlock levels sporadically with Cartel Coins. It is not cheaper to unlock them early, or to unlock them later, as all levels only requires 8 points whether they are near the beginning of the track or near the end.

Is it worth it to spend 10,000 CC to unlock the track? I do not recommend unlocking the track with Cartel Coins, but here are the numbers: 10,000 CC costs approximately $60-$80 USD, depending on whether you buy the 5,500 CC pack at $40 or the 14,500 CC pack at $100. You will have 2,000 CC of your CC ‘returned’ as you rank up partway through the ranks and claim rewards (you get 2,000 CC from the track total). You will receive all the rewards on the track as long as you are also subscribed, but you will still also only receive a maximum of 15 tokens like all other players, so you will still not be able to afford all the items on the retired rewards vendors even if you unlock the entire track with CC. Do not forget that if you are patient you will be able to unlock the entire track for credits, and although we don’t know the exact numbers yet, it will likely be more affordable / economical with credits. Purchasing the track early is only a good option if you know you will not be available during the last week of the season, and will not be able to earn the rewards or purchase them with credits – for example if you will be without access to gaming at all overseas. Otherwise, this option is mainly available for players who say: I WANT MY REWARDS, AND I WANT THEM NOW!

Season 11 Credits: As the season moves forward, levels become purchasable with credits. The first level you unlock with credits costs 250,000 credits, no matter where it is on the track. From there, the price goes up per level, by a lot. Here’s a chart that shows some of the unlock costs. You can not purchase the final 5 levels with credits – you must earn them or purchase them with cartel coins. So to unlock 1 level, it costs 250k, to unlock 5 levels, it costs 18 million, to unlock ten levels, it costs 177 million, to unlock 50 levels it costs 3.6 billion. We don’t know the dates for Season 11 credit unlocks yet.

Collections

There are many rewards available from Galactic Seasons, most of which are visible on the track itself, including mounts, weapons, companion gifts, companion customizations, titles, armor and more. You’ll be able to claim the first copy of your reward on a character of your choice, but you only get one copy by default. However, almost every rewards except for companion gifts and the randomized pack items, are also available through collections – if you earn a reward, claim it on one character first, then go in to your Collections and you will be able to unlock it for 10 Cartel Coins. Then every character on your entire account, even on other servers, will have access to that rewards and can create unlimited copies.

Galactic Season 11: The Cartel Coin cost to unlock the items varies per season, and the items will be spread out between all three seasons Collection categories. Once you unlock any of the items in collections the first time in Galactic Seasons, you can pay CC for copies on other servers or other characters.

If you play on multiple servers, this can be a blessing or a curse – on one hand, it may feel like you need to grind out Galactic Seasons on multiple servers if you want the rewards on multiple servers – luckily, most of them can be unlocked via collections, though some items like the Strongholds from the vendor will have to be per-server as they are not in collections. On the other hand, the tracks being separate is a boon to crazy players who really want to unlock multiple Collections items using the Galactic Seasons tokens – subscribers can only earn 15 total per season, but it’s 15 total per season per server… so you could technically earn a total of 70 tokens across five servers, wow! Intense collectors might want to look in to doing this with credits as the season progresses, or efficient players may look into getting just the login rewards on multiple characters across multiple servers.
