SWTOR Galactic Seasons, Season 7 (The Greatest Bounty – August 20th, 2024

Galactic Seasons in Star Wars: The Old Republic, similar to a ‘battle pass’ in other games, allows you to complete daily and weekly objectives to earn rewards over the course of five months. Galactic Seasons is available to both free-to-play players and subscribers at no additional cost, with subscribers having an additional reward track to gain cosmetic rewards from. In addition, you will gain tokens which you can spend at a vendor to buy previously-retired items and access to a new stronghold.

Season 7

Galactic Seasons, Season 7 was called The Greatest Bounty, and was focused around Bounty Hunting and had a special feature where the Bounty Event lasted the entire Galactic Seasons event, rather than just one week. The previously-retired Dark vs Light system bosses also returned as objectives, along with Dark and Light tokens which can be used to buy cosmetic rewards.

Dark vs Light bosses are extremely strong world bosses that you are expected to fight with an organized group of 8 to 16 people. They have different types of tactics, and can wipe your group quite easily, so you need to work together and have enough players not die to actually defeat these special bosses. If you worked your way all the way up to rank 100 in Season 7 as a subscriber, you’d earn:

Season 7 Jaleit Nall Vendor

Jaleit Nall allows player to purchase previously-retired items with Galactic Season tokens, including retired companions, mounts, pets, weapons, armors and more. She also offers two unique Strongholds for sale that you can only get through galactic Seasons. The items available rotate on a weekly schedule, in four different batches. They continue to be available even after the Season ends, though you can only earn tokens during an active season.

*** Season 8 drastically changes how the rotation works. This was the final season where it changed weekly.

The Republic Fleet or Imperial Fleet stronghold costs 8 Galactic Seasons Tokens and can be bought from Jaleit Nall at any time, they do not cycle. The Mek-Sha Stronghold costs 14 Tokens, and also does not cycle. The Copero stronghold was unlocked in stages, costing a total of 18 tokens.

Season 7 Ki’at Thavo Vendor Rewards

Ki’at Thavo’s has special items that are only available to be purchased with Galactic Seasons Tokens during the current Season 7 season, some of which are not available on the track.

** The Furious Brynjak was weird this season. It seems to be on the opposite vendor than it normslly would be. The Developers said: “First, the Furious Brynjak snuck into Ki’at Thavo’s inventory, but really it’s supposed to be with Jaliet Nall and available on weeks B and D.”

When the season ends, all the rewards listed above will be available for all players until the beginning of the next season, giving Subscribers the opportunity to purchase the rewards they are missing. Some may wind up on the other vendor in future seasons, but it is not guaranteed.

Season 7 Achievements

There are some special limited-time achievements for Season 7. The overall meta achievement was a bit different this season and there was nothing you need to “collect” – instead you need to fight Dark vs Light bosses and complete normal bounties and kingpin bounties.

Complete 100 weekly season objectives (out of a possible 140) during the season (Reward – Legacy Title: The Greatest
Reach Rank 100 on the Galactic Seasons track during the season
And these three tasks:
- Complete 20 Bounty Broker’s Association contracts (normal bounties)
- Complete 10 Bounty Broker’s Association Kingpin contracts
- Defeat 40 Dark side/Light side World Bosses during The Greatest Bounty Season

If you manage to do all three of these during the season you will complete the Bounty Marked achievement and receive the Flair: Hunter’s Mark, a flair which was a decoration that goes around your character’s portrait. This three-part achievement was way above and beyond what Seasons was expecting you to normally do, and was mainly a meta achievement for players who are playing efficiently 2-3 days or more per week.

Season 7 Objectives

The objectives rotated on a weekly basis.

Subscribers receive 2 points per daily, and 8 – 12 points per weekly, plus 8 points just from logging in 4 times a week.
Free-to-play and preferred players receive 2 points per daily and 6 – 10 points per weekly (two less points per weekly), plus 4 points just from logging in 4 times a week.
There is always a daily objective to earn 25,000 Conquest Points.
There is always 11 weeklies available, and you can complete up to 7 of them per week, of your choice. Some weeklies are worth more points than others.

The Nightmare of Voss	World Boss	Defeat the Nightmare Pilgrim World Boss on Voss.	Worldboss Guide - This is a difficult world boss!
The R-4 Anomaly	Operations	Make progress in Operation: R-4 Anomaly by defeating 2 bosses on any difficulty. (Requires a Subscription)	R-4 Guide TIP: You can do any of the two bosses. It does seem to work if you fight IC-PCT then Watchdog in story mode, so you don't have to do the 'hallway' or later bosses. Operations are for groups of 8 level 80 players, R-4 requires a bit more experience and skill than the other Story Mode operations.
The Seat of the Empire	Planet Missions	Complete Repeatable, Exploration, or Bonus Missions while defeating enemies on Taris, Oricon, Yavin 4, Ziost, or Dantooine. To locate Exploration Missions throughout the Galaxy, check 'Show Exploration Missions' on the World Map Legend.	TIP: This one is faster than it looks. Bonus quests also count for quests so completing about 4 Heroics is a fast way to complete the objective. You can easily complete the 4 Taris Heroics as part of the Heroics weekly too. <>BUG: Some players are reporting that kills and quests are not being counted. To double-check this, defeat an enemy on the listed planets. Then see if the defeat was tracked. If it's not, log out and log back in and check again. Then it should be working.
The Terrors of Taris	World Boss	Defeat The Ancient One (Imperial) and Subject Alpha (Republic) on Taris.	Guide TIP: These are world bosses, they are not meant to be fought alone. You will need a character on both factions for this objective.
The War for Manaan	Daily Area	Complete the mission: [WEEKLY] Daily Area: Manaan.	Manaan Daily Area Guide
This Will Do Nicely	Other	Affect 15 enemies with destructible pipes, tanks, canisters, and capacitors found throughout the Galaxy.	Tip: A fast way to complete this one is the Republic [HEROIC 2+] Rakghoul Release on Taris - round up some rakghouls and explode the barrels which will hit up to 10 enemies. There's also a second barrel further in. See this thread for other ideas.
Under Pressure	Operations	Complete any Eternity Vault and Scum and Villainy on Veteran or Master difficulty. (Requires a Subscription)	Must be in VETERAN mode and BOTH operations!
Veteran Operations: Explosive Conflict	Operations	Complete the following Operation on Veteran or Master difficulty. (Requires a Subscription): Explosive Conflict	Veteran Operations have a very high difficulty, require level 80, good gear, knowledge of your class and role, and 8 or 16 skilled players.

Season 7 Collections

There are many rewards available from Galactic Seasons, most of which are visible on the track itself, including mounts, weapons, companion gifts, companion customizations, titles, armor and more. You’ll be able to claim the first copy of your reward on a character of your choice, but you only get one copy by default. However, almost every rewards except for companion gifts and the randomized pack items, are also available through collections – if you earn a reward, claim it on one character first, then go in to your Collections and you will be able to unlock it for 10 Cartel Coins. Then every character on your entire account, even on other servers, will have access to that rewards and can create unlimited copies.

Galactic Season 7: There was a flat cost of 80 Cartel Coins for each collection unlock. This means once you unlock any of the items in collections the first time in Galactic Seasons, you can pay 80 CC for copies on other servers or other characters.
