Wings of Nihrot
The Wings of Nihrot is a small Jetpack Operation animal mount that can be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
How to Get: Operation - R-4 Anomaly Master Mode Drop / Achievement

Info
The Wings of Nihrot is a rare drop from the third boss of the new R-4 Anomaly operation, Lord Kanoth. I have never heard of anyone receiving it as a drop from Story Mode, but we do know it drops from Veteran Mode at a very, very low rate. Although the official rate has never been posted, a developer has started in 2024 that the also very rare Geonosian Handler License has the same chance to drop as the Wings of Nihrot. In addition to a rare drop, players who complete the R-4 Anomaly Operation in Veteran Mode within 40 minutes through an achievement will receive the Wings of Nihrot mounti n addition to the Anomalously Skilled Character Title.
Operation mounts are quite unique and can be earned as random drops directly from the related Operation, or from special difficult achievements. These can not be bought or sold on the GTN - you have to earn them!
Mount Notes:
- Added to the game's files: Patch 7.1
- Bind: Binds on Pickup
- Rarity: Artifact
- Artifact Authorization: Not checked. If you are a free-to-play or preferred player without the unlock, make sure to check if it requires Artifact Authorization before getting it.
- Vendor Sell Price: 25000 Credits (may not be sellable though)

swtorista [June 27, 2025]: Player Report - Here's some news to dampen your evening. When R-4 was released there were huge Kanoth farms for the Nihrot wings. I killed (and counted) Kanoth 156 times. I saw 3 wings drop. 1 of them went to someone who did it for the first time. Another to a random player. I got mine on the 156th kill on an alt I rarely play. - Optimal_Smile_8332
ro.alto [June 26, 2025]: Haven't done R4 since the bad luck prevention and only saw it drop once in many times doing Kanoth. I got it through the R4 timer - it is one of the mounts that is automatically added to your vehicles as opposed to being a drop that you redeem (if that makes sense)
swtorista [June 26, 2025]: The Wings of Nihrot I believe were the first item to have the 'bad luck prevention' attached to them, increasing your chance of getting them ever so slightly very time you run the content attached to them. ' When you collect loot from sources we check the incoming item to see if it is one of the bad luck protected items. If it is not, we increase our counter that you have completed a run and not received the protected item. After a set number of attempts, we make sure one of the protected items is rewarded.' [link]
swtorista [June 26, 2025]: A post where a player says they tried 250 times before the bad luck prevention was announced.
swtorista [June 26, 2025]: Here is a thread that is a bit of a conversation about the difficulty of doing the 40-minute timer - very difficult. [link]
