Rocket boost, sometimes known as rocket boots, provides a brief, intense burst of speed for a short duration. It is not actually a mount, but is instead a legacy-wide unlock, but it shows up in the mounts list. Rocket boost works indoors unlike most mounts and also works while stealthed. It costs 2,000,000 Credits and Legacy Level 1 or 400 CC, per Server. This puts it out of range for free-to-play and preferred players due to the credit cap. There is also an option to unlock Improved Rocket Boost I which decreases the cooldown of Rocket Boost by 30 seconds which costs 1,000,000 Credits and Legacy Level 10 or 120 CC, per Server, and Improved Rocket Boost II which decreases cooldown of Rocket Boost by 60 seconds and costs 1,500,000 Credits and Legacy Level 12 or 120 CC, per Server. Most of the time, the rockets will come out of your "boots" as the animation - but certain armors, especially bounty hunter themed armors, will have the rockets come out of the backpack to look like a jetpack.

Some mounts can only be earned through achievements, where you must do specific things to earn them.
