Taris Green Matrix Shard (Republic version) Guide

You will need a second player to help you get this datacron. You can not get it alone. There is not a Matrix Shard on Taris Imperial side.

Quick Travel / Taxi

Run south to the Power Plant

Follow the path south east to the power plant.

Get to the Vent

Go into the power plant and go to the center of the map.

Get a Friend on the Vent, Press the Blue Button

In the center of the power plant, on the lower level, there will be a blue button.

When you press it, a blast of air will come out of a large caged air vent nearby. Have your friend stand on top of the air vent pipe closest to the blue button, and then right-click the blue button. This will cause your friend to be knocked into the air. This should hopefully put you up on a big pipe up high, where you can then carefully jump your way across some other pipes the datacron. Unfortunately sometimes it misses, so just keep trying with your character facing different directions until you land up there.

Once on the big pipe up high, look for a smaller pipe you can jump down to, and keep following the pipes until you can see the glowing white matrix shard cube. Once you get to the end of the last pipe near the matrix shard, instead of trying to jump directly to the matrix shard, jump down to the platform nearby with some crates on it on the right, and then take a running jump onto the matrix shard platform.

After your friend gets the datacron, you can swap places so you can both get the datacron one by one.
