Korriban Red Matrix Shard Guide

The Korriban Gray Red Matrix Shard Datacron is located in the The Ruined Atrium map on Korriban grants a Red Matrix Shard.

The Korriban Red Matrix Shard is in the west side behind some ruined walls and is only available to Imperial characters (Republic players must make an Imperial character to unlock this datacron). Finding this datacron will give you a Red Matrix Shard which cna be used to create a low-level relic, and will unlock the Galactic History 17: The Duinuogwuin Contention codex.

  • Location: The Ruined Atrium - west side behind some ruined walls
  • Difficulty: Easy - can walk right up to it
  • Codex: Galactic History 17: The Duinuogwuin Contention

How to Get the Korriban Gray Red Matrix Shard Datacron

Quick Travel / Taxi / Walk

[HEROIC 2+] Armed and Dangerous heroic shuttle will put you slightly closer.

Find the Entrance to Tulak Hord’s Tomb

While facing away from the temple, take the path that leads to the right past the shooting range and the vendors. About halfway towards the shuttles in that direction will be a cave on your right that enters the Tomb of Tulak Hord.

Go Through the Tomb of Tulak Hord

Follow the tomb’s tunnel. When you come to a fork in the path turn to the left (look for the exit on your map).

Find the Datacron Dig

Once you are outside the tunnel, follow the wall to the right through an arch.
