Balmorra Orange Mastery Datacron (Republic version) Guide

The Balmorra Orange Mastery Datacron is located in the Markaran Plains map on Balmorra grants Mastery +4 (it used to grant Cunning +4 before the stats changed).

The Balmorra Orange datacron is in the halfway down a series of pipes in the Okara Droid Factory and is only available to Republic characters (Imperial players must make a Republic character to unlock this datacron). How to Get the Balmorra Orange Mastery Datacron

You can see this datacron sitting on a pipe on the wall of the factory on Balmorra, but you’ll need to find another way to get to it, as you can’t jump up high enough to reach it.

This Datacron is in roughly the same spot as the Republic-only Balmorra Blue Mastery Datacron.

Quick Travel / Taxi

Go into the Factory

The Factory isn’t labelled on the map, but it’s a large entrance at the bottom of the Markaran Plains map.

Take the Left Elevator

Take the elevator that’s on the left-most side of the map.

Find the Maintenance Shaft

Once down the elevator walk forwards a bit, and once you see the glowing blue assembly lines, jump down on them to the ground floor, and look for a small door the leads to a vertical maintenace shaft.

In there, you should be able to see the datacron glowing orange-yellow on top of a pipe lower down in the shaft.

Jump Down the Pipes

You will need to carefully jump down the pipes to get the datacron.

For the first jump, I liked to toggle my walk key on by pressing the / key above the numberpad on the right hand side of my keyboard to make to the jump easier.

For the second jump, I toggled run back on, as I couldn’t make the jump with walk still on.

After the third jump, you’ll be at the datacron.

If you happen to fall, open your map, look for the elevator to go back up, and then go back down the left elevator again and start over.
