Alderaan Red Mastery Datacron Guide

This Datacron is hidden on a dam on Alderaan, but you’ll need to first find a grapple hook item that will allow you to jump over to it.

Get MGGS Item

To get to the grapple points for this datacron, you’ll need an MGGS item from a vendor named Lain-Ricie in the Juran mountains. This is the same vendor that sells the MGGS item – if you like collecting datacrons and other achievements you should buy one of each of the three items this vendor sells.

The closest Republic quick travel point is the House Alde quick travel point and the closest taxi is the House Alde Library Thranta speeder point, on the right side of the map, and then run quite a ways south along the mountain paths to the vendor.

The closest Imperial quick travel point is the Outpost Talarn quick travel point and the closest taxi is the Outpost Talarn Thranta speeder point, which are both very close, and you can cheat a bit by jumping over some mountains to the west and you’ll practically be there.

Quick Travel / Taxi

Imperial side, the [HEROIC 2+] Sabotage heroic shuttle will put you right outside the datacron.

Run to the Dam

Republic side, the dam is very far from the nearest Republic taxi or quick travel. If you choose to start at House Alde, you’ll just need to run north for a very long time until you reach the dam.
