Ilum Red Matrix Shard Guide

The Ilum Gray Red Matrix Shard Datacron is located in the Eastern Ice Shelf map on Ilum grants a Red Matrix Shard.

The Ilum Red Matrix Shard is in the Republic Base Camp, on top in a hut and is available to both Imperial and Republic players. Finding this datacron will give you a Red Matrix Shard which cna be used to create a low-level relic, and will unlock the Galactic History 85: The Purge of the Dark Council codex.

  • Ilum Red Matrix Shard Datacron (Both Factions)
  • Quicktravel: Republic Outpost / Imperial War Camp
  • Taxi: Republic Outpost / Imperial War Camp
  • Location: Eastern Ice Shelf - Republic Base Camp, on top in a hut
  • Difficulty: Easy - can walk right up to it
  • Codex: Galactic History 85: The Purge of the Dark Council

How to Get the Ilum Gray Red Matrix Shard Datacron

Quick Travel / Taxi

For Republic players, this will be very close to where you load in to Ilum, for Imperial players this will be a very far run south into enemy territory.
