Taris Datacrons Guide

This datacron is in the same location as the Republic-only Orange Mastery Datacron, though that one you get to traverse the jumping puzzle during the day time instead.

Quick Travel / Taxi

Run to the North to get on the Pipe

Just North of the abandoned swoop track, there will be a large pipe that acts as a ramp that you can climb onto, giving you access to more ledges you can jump on.

Once up the pipe, go to the left platform and walk over the giant fallen girder.

At the end of the girder, head to the right.

Keep follow the ledges as they go around the building to the right, carefully jumping over any gaps, and soon you’ll be able to see the datacron. Keep in mind where it is, as it will help you figure out where the path to get to it is.

Further along the edges, there will be a forking path – one that continues around the building, and one that leads out to a pathway of dark gray broken columns. You’ll want take the darker-colored columns, which is the branch towards the right.

Eventually, as you keep following the trail of debris, jumping over gaps, you’ll reach the datacron.

You can see this datacron while questing on Taris up in a pipe, but you’ll need to find the secret path to getting to it elsewhere.

This datacron is the same location as the Republic-only Blue Mastery datacron, but you’ll do the jumping puzzle during the day time on that side.

Quick Travel / Taxi

Run all the way North

Go through the large red pipe, go up the trail

At the end of the pipe look left for a switchback trail leading up a hill

Get on the Ledge

Just past the switchback trail there will be a ledge on the right that you can jump up on to, and carefully follow the ledge for a long time along the edge of a ruined building.

The ledge will eventually lead you back to the top of the big red pipe and you can carefully jump onto the top of the red pipe.

Jump from the Big Red Pipe to the Small Metal Pipe

On the side of the big red pipe is a small, thin metal gray pipe you can very carefully jump down on to.

I like to jump towards it at an angle so if I go a little too far with my jump, I just land further up the pipe instead of jumping all the way over it.

Follow the grey pipe towards its end along the building.

Jump from the Metal Pipe, Down to the Ledge

At the end of the metal pipe, there will be nowhere else to go, so look down and there will be a very small ledge below. You will need to fall down onto it. You can make this fall easier by getting off your speeder, pressing the slash key above your number pad on your keyboard so you can walk, and just slowly walk forward off the metal pipe.

Follow the ledge around the building carefully. Once you see the hole where the datacron is going to be, with a red pipe inside it, you can fall down onto the large metal platform down below.

Jump Down to the Datacron

From there, carefully walk and fall your way down to the datacron in the red pipe!

You will need a second player to help you get this datacron. You can not get it alone. There is not a Matrix Shard on Taris Imperial side.

Quick Travel / Taxi

Run south to the Power Plant

Follow the path south east to the power plant.

Get to the Vent

Go into the power plant and go to the center of the map.

Get a Friend on the Vent, Press the Blue Button

In the center of the power plant, on the lower level, there will be a blue button.

When you press it, a blast of air will come out of a large caged air vent nearby. Have your friend stand on top of the air vent pipe closest to the blue button, and then right-click the blue button. This will cause your friend to be knocked into the air. This should hopefully put you up on a big pipe up high, where you can then carefully jump your way across some other pipes the datacron. Unfortunately sometimes it misses, so just keep trying with your character facing different directions until you land up there.

Once on the big pipe up high, look for a smaller pipe you can jump down to, and keep following the pipes until you can see the glowing white matrix shard cube. Once you get to the end of the last pipe near the matrix shard, instead of trying to jump directly to the matrix shard, jump down to the platform nearby with some crates on it on the right, and then take a running jump onto the matrix shard platform.

After your friend gets the datacron, you can swap places so you can both get the datacron one by one.

Jump from the loadlifter, to the shelf with boxes, onto the tallest box, to the rounded pipe, to the taller shelves with boxes, to a pile of boxes, to a shipping crate’s edge that’s sticking out, onto the little notch in the shipping crate, onto the shipping crate, onto another pile of boxes, across a big gap with a running jump to a shipping crate, onto another pile of boxes, a careful diagonal jump onto a thin metal pipe, a running jump across some metal shelves, a running jump to another shipping crate while ignoring the boxes on the right, and then a little jump down onto the yellow datacron on a shelf. Got it?

Quick Travel / Taxi / Heroic Shuttle

The [HEROIC 2+] Enclave Raid heroic shuttle will put you very close to the datacron.

Find the Fallen Beam

Jump Down from the Top of the Beam

Onto some pieces of metal sticking out. You’ll need to be on the edge of the beam not on the inner part.

Jump into the Beam with Wires

Travel to the Republic Spaceport

Republic side it is very close to where you load in.

You can see this purple Datacron through a slit in a pipe while exploring the Sinking City map, but you’ll need to find a different way to get to it through the Hospital.

Run to the Hospital

Run north east along the path to the hospital – you’ll wind up at the main entrance on the ground floor

Heroic Fallen Stars republic is very close

Go Through the Back Entrance

Go to the back of the hospital and enter through back door into the basement

Find the hidden path behind a pile of crates

Head deep into the hospital’s basement, and look for a pile of crates concealing a door on the bottom floor of the basement.

Jump over the crates, and follow the secret tunnel path until you reach the datacron!
