Vectron 240R Silverbolt

The Vectron 240R Silverbolt is a medium-size Vectron Cartel Market speeder that can be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Dynamic Color Change

The Vectron 240R Silverbolt is exactly the same model was the promotional Firebolt and Starbolt mounts, but it is not tied to a promotion. It was added to the game in Update 7.5, and has popped on and off the Cartel Market since then including the daily sale for 1,300 CC at one point, and it is assumed it can also come from Cartel Packs. You can sometimes find it on the GTN for sale. This mount has a color change depending on the color of your color crystal in your main-hand weapon. This one is a very subtle effect - there is no color change visible until you use the mount flourish, and then the flares coming out of the front of the vehicle change color with your color crystal.

Mount Flourish

This mount has a Mount Flourish. When you press CTRL+Z while mounted, this mount's top circle vent and exhaust pipes will retract into the vehicle, causing it to look sleeker and the mount's engine sounds will also be quieter while driving. When the exhust pipes are visisble, tehy have an ongoing animation of spluttering flares. View Other Mounts with Flourish

Level 1 Mount

This mount is special and allows you to use it at level 1 on your characters, even if you do not have any other unlocks or legacy perks, so you can mount up on the Vectron 240R Silverbolt as soon as you receive it and use it in your character's inventory. Most other mounts can only be used at a later level, or only used at level 1 if you have the Speeder Piloting I legacy character perk. View Other Level 1 Mounts

130% Movement Speed

Most mounts start at 90% speed with the basic Speeder Piloting I ability. As you upgrade your Speeder Piloting, it goes up to 100%, 110%, 120% and finally 130% at Speeder Piloting V. The Vectron 240R Silverbolt mount is special and allows you to move at 130% speed even if you do not have Speeder Piloting V unlocked on your character. View Other 130% Mounts

How to Get Cartel Market Mounts

Cartel Market mounts originally come from the Cartel Market, either through direct sale or through random chance in Cartel Packs. Almost all Cartel Market mounts are cosmetic in nature, they give no special perks that other mounts won't also give you. Cartel Market mounts can sometimes be found for direct sale on the Cartel Market, but if it is not available there it can be purchased from other players on the GTN. If you can't find it on the Cartel Market which is run by the developers who rotate items in and out over time, and can't find it listed on the GTN which is made of listings created by players, you're looking for an item that is currently considered rare or uncommon, and you'll either need to keep checking back those two places, or try posting in the /trade chat or the Fleet General Chat that you are looking to buy one - but it will likely be very expensive if no one has one listed on the GTN already!
