Rakata Duelist's Saberstaff

The Rakata Duelist's Saberstaff is a Gearing Rakata double bladed lightsaber that can be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Rakata Duelist's Saberstaff can be worn at any level in the Outfitter - it's a cosmetic weapon, and has no stats attached to it.

How to Get: Gearing Rakata

This is not a direct screenshot of the Rakata Duelist's Saberstaff. The file name is thumbnail-vicious-assailant-dualsaber.jpg - as far as I can tell it is identical to another weapon, so I re-used the screenshots. There may be small variations that I could not tell apart when comparing thumbnails, previews or item icons.

Sound: Ardent

All Lightsabers with the Ardent sound type have the same sound, including the Rakata Duelist's Saberstaff. This isn't the official name, and this Lightsaber sound type may be labelled something like weaponmeleelightsaber20 in the background of the game.

I do not have a video of the Rakata Duelist's Saberstaff, but you can watch a video of the Mantellian Frontline Lightsaber weapon to hear the Ardent sound type, which is the same as the Rakata Duelist's Saberstaff.

Rakata Weapon is high-level end-game weapons. The gear is dropped based on your current discipline from Operations, or bought with OP-1 Currency. This gear has a purple border and is legacy-bound. This gear changes appearances when you change factions. Rakata weapons used to also used to be end-game gear at the original launch of the game as a bind-on-equip version with a purple border. The purple version from 7.0 operation drops has the same appearance.

Other Names

This weapon has multiple varieties - they are gotten the same way, and look the same, but have different names because they have diferent stats attached to them for gearing variations.

  • Rakata Force-Lord's Saberstaff

Identical Weapons

These weapons will have an identical or very similar look to the Rakata Duelist's Saberstaff. There's no real name for the appearance, but I've labelled it dualsaberhigh13a01v01 which may be a name I call all identical weapons, or a name in the game files.
