Citadel MK-2 Saberstaff

The Citadel MK-2 Saberstaff is a Citadel Monolith double bladed lightsaber that can be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Citadel MK-2 Saberstaff can only be used at a specific level and up, but if you are higher than the weapon's required level, you can wear it cosmetically in the Outfitter to show its appearance on your character while using a higher-level weapon in your Gear tab for stats.

How to Get: Citadel Monolith

This is a direct screenshot of the Citadel MK-2 Saberstaff! The file name is citadel-mk-2-saberstaff-7277-thumbnail.png - as long as I named it right and didn't mix up its name with another weapon, this should be an exact screenshot of this weapon, which I or another player actively owned.

Sound: Desolator

All Lightsabers with the Desolator sound type have the same sound, including the Citadel MK-2 Saberstaff. This isn't the official name, and this Lightsaber sound type may be labelled something like weaponmeleelightsaberelite09 in the background of the game.

I do not have a video of the Citadel MK-2 Saberstaff, but you can watch a video of the Acolyte's Saberstaff weapon to hear the Desolator sound type, which is the same as the Citadel MK-2 Saberstaff.

How to Get Citadel Weapons

Citadel weapons seem to mostly drop from the Worldbreaker Monolith world boss. Once the boss is defeated, use the Other chat tab to see what dropped, and if someone else got the weapon, make them an offer to trade for it, if you did not get lucky yourself. The Worldbreaker Monolith worldboss is recommended for characters level 60 and over after they have fully completed Ziost (or can be summoned).

Other Names

This weapon has multiple varieties - they are gotten the same way, and look the same, but have different names because they have diferent stats attached to them for gearing variations.

  • Citadel Force-lord's MK-2 Saberstaff
  • Citadel MK-2 Saberstaff

Identical Weapons

These weapons will have an identical or very similar look to the Citadel MK-2 Saberstaff. There's no real name for the appearance, but I've labelled it dualsaberhigh30a02v02 which may be a name I call all identical weapons, or a name in the game files.
