Citadel MK-2 Blaster Rifle

The Citadel MK-2 Blaster Rifle is a Citadel Monolith blaster rifle that can be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Citadel MK-2 Blaster Rifle can only be used at a specific level and up, but if you are higher than the weapon's required level, you can wear it cosmetically in the Outfitter to show its appearance on your character while using a higher-level weapon in your Gear tab for stats.

How to Get: Citadel Monolith

This is not a direct screenshot of the Citadel MK-2 Blaster Rifle. The file name is revanites-rifle-mk-2-4068-thumbnail.png - as far as I can tell it is identical to another weapon, so I re-used the screenshots. There may be small variations that I could not tell apart when comparing thumbnails, previews or item icons.

Sound: Grantek

All Blaster Rifles with the Grantek sound type have the same sound, including the Citadel MK-2 Blaster Rifle. This isn't the official name, and this Blaster Rifle sound type may be labelled something like weaponrangedrifleelite03 in the background of the game.

I do not have a video of the Citadel MK-2 Blaster Rifle, but you can watch a video of the Unshielded Blaster Rifle weapon to hear the Grantek sound type, which is the same as the Citadel MK-2 Blaster Rifle.

How to Get Citadel Weapons

Citadel weapons seem to mostly drop from the Worldbreaker Monolith world boss. Once the boss is defeated, use the Other chat tab to see what dropped, and if someone else got the weapon, make them an offer to trade for it, if you did not get lucky yourself. The Worldbreaker Monolith worldboss is recommended for characters level 60 and over after they have fully completed Ziost (or can be summoned).

Other Names

This weapon has multiple varieties - they are gotten the same way, and look the same, but have different names because they have diferent stats attached to them for gearing variations.

  • Citadel Mender's MK-2 Blaster Rifle
  • Citadel Targeter's MK-2 Blaster Rifle

Identical Weapons

These weapons will have an identical or very similar look to the Citadel MK-2 Blaster Rifle. There's no real name for the appearance, but I've labelled it riflehigh30a02v02 which may be a name I call all identical weapons, or a name in the game files.
