Pierce's Cutting-edge Rifle

The Pierce's Cutting-edge Rifle is a Companion Original blaster rifle that can be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Pierce's Cutting-edge Rifle can only be used at a specific level and up, but if you are higher than the weapon's required level, you can wear it cosmetically in the Outfitter to show its appearance on your character while using a higher-level weapon in your Gear tab for stats.

How to Get: Companion Original

This is not a direct screenshot of the Pierce's Cutting-edge Rifle. The file name is m-400-nova-rifle-2341-thumbnail.png - as far as I can tell it is identical to another weapon, so I re-used the screenshots. There may be small variations that I could not tell apart when comparing thumbnails, previews or item icons.

Sound: Firebrand

All Blaster Rifles with the Firebrand sound type have the same sound, including the Pierce's Cutting-edge Rifle. This isn't the official name, and this Blaster Rifle sound type may be labelled something like weaponrangedriflenormal06 in the background of the game.

I do not have a video of the Pierce's Cutting-edge Rifle, but you can watch a video of the BL-28 Blaster Rifle weapon to hear the Firebrand sound type, which is the same as the Pierce's Cutting-edge Rifle.

How to Get Companions Original Weapons

Identical Weapons

These weapons will have an identical or very similar look to the Pierce's Cutting-edge Rifle. There's no real name for the appearance, but I've labelled it riflehigh02a03v04 which may be a name I call all identical weapons, or a name in the game files.
