Improved Offhand Blaster

The Improved Offhand Blaster is a Retired Endgame Sor Improved blaster pistol that can be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Improved Offhand Blaster can only be used at a specific level and up, but if you are higher than the weapon's required level, you can wear it cosmetically in the Outfitter to show its appearance on your character while using a higher-level weapon in your Gear tab for stats.

How to Get: Retired Endgame Sor Improved

This is not a direct screenshot of the Improved Offhand Blaster. The file name is devoted-allies-blaster-pistol-6492-thumbnail.png - as far as I can tell it is identical to another weapon, so I re-used the screenshots. There may be small variations that I could not tell apart when comparing thumbnails, previews or item icons.

Sound: Grit

All Blaster Pistols with the Grit sound type have the same sound, including the Improved Offhand Blaster. This isn't the official name, and this Blaster Pistol sound type may be labelled something like weaponrangedblasternormal01 in the background of the game.

I do not have a video of the Improved Offhand Blaster, but you can watch a video of the Grit weapon to hear the Grit sound type, which is the same as the Improved Offhand Blaster.

How to Get Retired Endgame Sor Improved Weapons

Retired Endgame Sor Improved weapons are retired, which means they are no longer obtainable. You might be able to find a similar look-alike weapon below.

Other Names

This weapon has multiple varieties - they are gotten the same way, and look the same, but have different names because they have diferent stats attached to them for gearing variations.

  • Improved Combat Medic's Offhand Blaster
  • Improved Eliminator's Offhand Blaster
  • Improved Field Tech's Offhand Blaster
  • Improved Offhand Blaster

Identical Weapons

These weapons will have an identical or very similar look to the Improved Offhand Blaster. There's no real name for the appearance, but I've labelled it blasterhigh02a03v04 which may be a name I call all identical weapons, or a name in the game files.
