SWTOR Hutta Dynamic Encounters Guide

Dynamic Encounters are scheduled, timed quests on different planets in Star Wars: The Old Republic. If you are new to Dynamic Encounters and want to learn more about how they work and how to find them, visit the Dynamic Encounters Guide! This guide goes over all the Dynamic Encounters on Hutta!

Rewards

There’s a bunch of different rewards you can get from Coruscant Dynamic Encounters.

All Encounters

All encounters give credits and experience.

At level 80, these quests also give 50 Tech Fragments and 3 Conquest Commendations, which are used for end-game gear or to earn credits or cosmetic items.

Zylthan Bog Cutter

Completing all of the encounters at least once and completing 30 Hutta Dynamic Encounters total will earn you an achievement and a unique mount called the Zylthan Bog Cutter. You can check your progress in your Achievements in the section Dynamic Encounters → Hutta → Mastery.

Once you have earned this achievement, you can get the mount on your other characters by going into the achievement panel and right-clicking it, which will add it to your mounts list if you have speeder piloting (it will not give you an item in your inventory).

Poison Pit Sign – Random drop from Dynamic Encounters on Hutta. Apparently it drops quite frequently from the bounty hunter at the end of the Taking Advantage dynamic encounter.

A

Hutta Encounters

Here are all the encounters you can find on Hutta. Hutta can be visited by any characters on the Imperial side – Republic players can not fly or get to Hutta. Imperial Agents and Bounty Hunters start off on Hutta and can work on these as early as level 1, but may have trouble defeating some of the enemies until around level 10. Sith Inquisitors and Sith Warriors can get to Hutta once they have finished their origin story on Dromund Kaas and earned their ship so they can fly there.

Reverse Ecology

Description: The hutts are depleting toxic runoff that chemilizards need to live! Help restore the imbalance so the lizards can thrive.

Step 1:

Retrieve Tox Blaster

Step 2:

  • Puncture Chem Harvester 0/1
  • 0/2 Rupture Pipes
  • 0/5 Douse Chemilizards

After grabbing the gun from the bogmen, you can puncture the harvester and rupture the pipes no problem just right clicking to interact. To douse a Chemilizard, target any of the lizards in the area and use the temporary ability that appears when you’re close-by. It’s a 15-second cooldown to re-apply to the same lizard, and some will go hostile when you do it.

Timer: 30 minutes

ACHIEVEMENT – Warning: Toxic!

Warning: Toxic! Become doused in noxious chemicals on Hutta (part of the Reverse Ecology Dynamic Encounter).

You can not douse yourself – but someone else can select your character and douse you as if you were a chemilizard.

Taking Advantage

Description: A shipment of exotic meats meant for Fa’athra has been waylaid by beasts, presenting an enticing opportunity…

Steps:

  • 0/8 Defeat the Beasts
  • 0/5 Collect Valuable Cargo

Step 2:

  • Regroup with the Bounty Hunter

The beasts are covering the ship crash site, with easily visible lootable barrels. Once done, you need to go up the nearby hill to meet with a bounty hunter. He will then disappear and the barrel near his perch will be clickable. Use it to summon him again, but hostile. Defeat him and it’s over. Seems to summon two hunters, but the encounter finishes after fighting one.

First you need to find the barrel of food. It moves around after someone finds it, look around the area near the building entrances. Once you find it, you can right-click it to get the rancor snack.

Steps:

  • Destroy the Fa’athra Obliterator Droid

Once you activate the console near the cantina, you’ll get into a droid. Your first ability and fourth ability are an attack. 2nd is your AoE knockback attack, and 3 is simply a pull. Further down on my 8th key was a way to exit the droid early. Doing this will reset your progress and you need to defeat everything in one go.
