Upgrading Gear

Here’s the math for upgrading your gear at the vendors. Some gear is worth upgrading while others aren’t. Group Guide / Solo Guide I’ve only shown a few of the more useful tracks here.

Noble Decurion

The exact costs varies a bit by piece, but here’s roughly what you’ll need if you upgrade a green noble decurion earpiece to item-rating 340:

Gear trick 338 accessories – You could technically use 340 pieces instead, but we’re going to re-use these 338 green pieces later for some great results in a different step!

Deconstruct vs Sell?

Do not sell your green gear to vendors to earn credits. Deconstruct it instead! You will get almost 10x the value if you save up your Tech Fragments and spend them on valuable crafting materials instead.

Deconstructing solo gear yields…

• Green Decurion Gear from the Story = 3-6 Tech Frags, 3 Conquest Commendations
• Green Noble Decurion from Conquest = 3-6 Tech Frags, 3 Conquest Commendations

If you had extra Conquest Commendations and had credits to spare, you can trade them into the Conquest Gear Vendor!

• Trade 500 Conquest Commendations for 200 FP-1 Stabilizers (useful if you are doing the “336 Solo Blue Gear” trick)
• Trade 200 Conquest Commendations for 200 Tech Fragments (good for credits)
