Corellia Datacrons Guide

Corellia has five datacrons and two matrix shards to find, with all of them being accessible to Republic and Imperial players except for the purple datacron, which has a different version to find for each faction. The blue datacron is hidden near a slow elevator and an explosive container that you use to cross a gap to it, the orange datacron is up a jumping puzzle starting at a pile of debris, the red datacron requires patience and catching an air lift, and the yellow datacron requires falling off the edge of Port Paveria. The Imperial purple datacron is pretty funny and requires that you catch a garbage droid to get to it, and the Republic purple datacron is a big jumping puzzle. The first matrix shard is hidden behind a holographic door, and finally the last matrix shard is at the end of a jumping puzzle with an MGGS grapple hook point.

Quick Travel / Taxi

Imperial side, the [HEROIC 2+] Prison Busting heroic shuttle is a bit faster than the quick travel or taxi.

Get to the Super Slow Broken Elevator Shaft

In the center of Labor Valley, there is an almost unnoticeable piece of machinery moving up and down as if it were originally part of a functioning elevator. You can find a twisted brown metal beam leading upwards like a ramp. At the end of the beam, you can wait until the elevator piece is al the way at its lowest point, and then you can carefully jump on top of it.

Then you can wait for a very long time, and it will eventually reach its highest point, where you can then jump on top of the broken pillar where there will be a glowing blue barrel with red arrow pointing towards it. DO NOT CLICK THE BARREL!

Barrel

You will be able to see the glowing blue datacron on a ledge nearby. The goal is position yourself between the ledge and the barrel so that when the barrel explodes, you will be knocked backwards onto the ledge with the datacron. So position yourself then right click the barrel.

The barrel takes quite a while to respawn if someone else has clicked it recently. So you may need to wait on top of the broken pillar for it to respawn, if someone else clicked it or if you missed your blast path. It takes about the same amount of time to respawn as the elevator does to go all the way up and down again.

Travel to the Hologram Door

There is a door in the very south of the Labor Valley map that is actually just a projection – it’s glowing blue and you can walk right through it.

Follow the hallway and the matrix shard will be right outside on top of a shipping crate.

Get an MGGS

The MGGS item allows you to use hidden grapple points around the galaxy. You may have already gotten this item if you went after previous grapple hook datacrons. The MGGS item can be bought from a vendor named Lain-Ricie hidden in the Juran Mountains of Alderaan. The MGGS item can be placed into your legacy bank and swapped between characters, but as far as I can tell it can’t be bought on the GTN or traded to a friend.

The closest Republic quick travel point is the House Alde quick travel point and the closest taxi is the House Alde Library Thranta speeder point, on the right side of the map, and then run quite a ways south along the mountain paths to the vendor.

The closest Imperial quick travel point is the Outpost Talarn quick travel point and the closest taxi is the Outpost Talarn Thranta speeder point, which are both very close, and you can cheat a bit by jumping over some mountains to the west and you’ll practically be there.

Walk to the Corellia Museum

The Corellia Museum is located in the very bottom middle of the Axial Park map, and you’ll want to walk in and take the elevator up.

Upstairs, there is a shuttle, but we won’t be taking the shuttle. Jump up onto the shuttle and onto the shuttle’s wing, so you can jump on the outer ledge of the room.

From there, one of the corners of the ledge has another ledge far down below. Jump down to that ledge.

Follow that wide ledge for a short walk and keep your eyes up. Eventually you will see a glowing blue square up high on the base of a statue above you. If you have the MGGS you will be able to right click that blue square.

From there you will be able to easily jump up to another nearby platform ledge, and walk into a building entrance, and the matrix shard is at the end of a tunnel on top of a shipping crate!

Find the giant pile of garbage

Find the giant pile of garbage and debris in the northern section of the Labor Valley map.

Climb up the debris pile, and look for a metal beam you can jump on to.

Once up on top of that new area, follow the building around the side – do not jump down onto the bridge below.

Keep following this large ledge around the building until you eventually come to a grap pipe. Jump up onto the gray pipe. From the gray pipe, jump down onto the rectangular pipe a few steps below and then jump onto the triangular piece and then jump up onto the large yellow fallen column.

As you run up the column, you will see a bridge down below that is broken in half – one half on your left and one half on your right. Jump down to the right – it’s easier to make this jump if you mount up.

Once you are on top of the bridge, you will need to very very carefully fall down onto a silver broken pipe down below that is attached to the broken section of the bridge. To make this fall easier, press the slash key above your numper pad on the top right of your keyboard to toggle your walk key.

The [HEROIC 2+] Explosive Assault heroic shuttle will put you a few steps closer than the quick travel or taxi.

Find the Garbage Route

Jump Down onto the Garbage Droid

Once you are at the edge of the ravine, you will see some garbage droids passing by down below, and the datacron glowing purple on a beam nearby. Your goal is to carefully time your jump onto one of the garbage droids and ride it to the datacron.

You’ll want to position yourself kind of near the corner of the walkway, and you are trying to catch the garbage droid coming from the left and heading towards the datacron – not the one coming from the other direction. It will not stop for you.

If you manage to land on the garbage droid, it gets very close to the beam the datacron is on and you can just fall onto it. It will not stop for you.

BUG ALERT – Unfortunately, there is a bug that can occur that will kill you when you land on the garbage droid. If this happens you’ll just have to start over.

  • Difficulty: Hard - Lots of jumping and thin pipes
  • Codex: Galactic History 79: The Conclave at Katarr

Quick Travel / Taxi / Walk

It’s on the main map you load in on Republic side.

Run to the Ledge

At a certain area you’ll be able to walk onto a ledge that runs around the side of one of the buildings. Carefully walk along the edge until you reach the fourth diagonal beam.

Beam

If you’ve reached a broken fence, you’ve gone too far.

Run up the diagonal beam, then turn around, and jump on the beam above you, then follow this new beam to the left towards some pipes and a fence.

Next, jump up on to the orange colored rectangular pipe, it’s awkward, but not too hard, and then jump onto the platform above you.

You’ll then be able to follow a path of jumping that includes some crates, a ship, a large shipping crates, the same orange pipe but higher up, and you’ll be able to keep follow the path of pipes and ledges for quite a while around the corner of the building.

Once you can see the datacron, you’ll have to carefully get to it across some thin pipes.

The last jump is one of the hardest, you must jump from a pipe diagonally onto the platform. I found backing up and mounting up helped, while other players suggest don’t mount at all.

If you happen to fall into the fenced-off area near where you can see the datacron, you’ll notice you’re actually trapped and can’t walk out. You can type /stuck to get out of this area, and if you’re lucky, it will actually put you back up on the pipes and upper area, instead of having to start back at the beginning.
