The Knights of the Fallen Empire Chapter XIII: Profit and Plunder chapter takes place in the third expansion of Star Wars: The Old Republic, on the gas-mining planet Vandin.
Dialogue

The dialogue below is an example of what the dialogue trees may look like, but may not reflect how it is in-game exactly, due to some options not being used, and the way the dialogue trees are non-linear. I’ve done my best to put the text together in a fun way where you can look at the differences in the dialogue choices, and see the different wordings depending on your class, faction or alignment. There will potentially be spoilers from every class story and every expansion before this one. Enjoy!
There is a lot of different dialogue trees depending on what you chose between Aric Jorgan and Kaliyo in Chapter 12, an if you are a Bounty Hunter or Sith Warrior.

My favorite differences include:
- This is the chapter where you can make a wookiee impression, the best dialogue option in the entire expansion.
- There is a ton of extra dialogue for the Bounty Hunter and Gault, or Vette and the Sith Warrior. As a Sith Warrior, you can say some very cruel things to Vette. If you are a Bounty Hunter, Gault calls your companion Skadge an “angry tumor”, and references if you became a Mandalorian by calling the Mando’a language “gobbldygook”.
- Many players say this chapter has one of their favorite moments, where Vette pops out of the ship after pretending to be a bomb.
- If you choose the right dialogue options, Gault will mention he worked with “Kai” (Kai Zykken)… and abandoned him in a time of need. In the same conversation you can also ask about the sabacc card game, and find out that at least part of his trick was to put naughty images in his mind for when Lana tried to peek, in addition to watching for Lana’s angry tells. The rest, is a “trade secret”, and you can take guesses about how you’d do it as a force user. Even funnier, you have an option to call Gault’s bluff and use the force to read his mind… and you’ll respond “Gah, what is wrong with you?”
- The choices about killing Aric Jorgan or Kaliyo at the end are brutal, especially if you were romancing one of them.
Introduction

The galaxy suffers. The Eternal Empire conquers and plunders countless worlds, adding to Zakuul’s vast wealth.
The Alliance has learned that the bulk of this stolen fortune sits aboard a massive floating treasury called the GILDED STAR–the greatest collection of wealth in known space.
On Odessen, <name> plots a daring heist against impossible odds to raid the Gilded Star and strike a serious blow to the Eternal Empire….
Cutscenes

- Lana Beniko: Still no word from Major Jorgan or Kaliyo?
- Theron Shan: Everything within a kilometer of the Spire has been locked-down. No signal gets in or out of that zone.
- Senya: I warned you that GEMINI frequency mission was dangerous. If they’re alive, it won’t be for much longer.
I should go extract them.Player: The Gravestone could take the enemy by surprise. Buy me enough time to get our people out of the Spire.
- [[[Did Koth choose to stay?]] Koth Vortena: Whoa, whoa, whoa. We can’t throw the Gravestone into the fire unless we know they’re alive to rescue.
- Lana Beniko: Too much remains unknown–and the enemy has had time to prepare its defense. We cannot risk any rescue operation.
We don’t know that, Senya.Player: We can’t be certain of anything. If they’re safe, they’ll contact us. If not… Arcann will make a public spectacle of them.
- [[[Did Koth choose to stay?]] Koth Vortena: Can’t say I’d feel too bad about losing Kaliyo, but Jorgan’s a good man.
- Senya: Regardless, any rescue attempt on our part would be suicide. Their fates are in their hands.
- Senya: Regardless, any rescue attempt on our part would be suicide. Their fates are in their hands.
Our goal can’t die with them.Player: If they’re dead, so be it. We still need to sabotage the Eternal Fleet, and the GEMINI frequency is our best chance.
- Theron Shan: We can’t get anywhere near the Spire without fighting every defender on Zakuul. We don’t have the forces for that.
- [[[Did Koth choose to stay?]] Koth Vortena: There’s always another way. We’ll find it. Destiny’s on our side, remember?
- Senya: Destiny must wait for the proper time. Now’s not it.
- Theron Shan: I’ll alert you the moment I hear anything, but until then… we’re just wasting time here.
- Lana Beniko: We could all use a break to regroup. That includes you, Theron.
- Theron Shan: I’m too tired to argue. Oh, almost forgot–Hylo Visz asked to see you, Commander. Wouldn’t say why, but it sounded important.

- Hylo Visz: Hey, Commander. Got a sec?
- Player: What’s on your mind?
- Hylo Visz: We’re doing our best to keep the supply lines running, but most of the people I deal with aren’t exactly philanthropists.
- Hylo Visz: We can’t keep running this thing on goodwill and borrowed credits.
I take your meaning.Player: You’re saying we need a steady income.
- Hylo Visz: Or a really big slush fund.
Borrowed credits?Player: Who are we accepting money from?
- Hylo Visz: Better if you don’t know, but I’d really prefer not to be living off their kind of debt.
So deal with it.Player: Aren’t you supposed to be handling that?
- Hylo Visz: What do you think I’m doing now?
- Hylo Visz: But look, I didn’t just come here with complaints. I know a guy with a habit of showing up when someone’s in need.
- Hylo Visz: He’s reached out with an offer we can’t really refuse, much as I might want to. You should meet him.
Okay.Player: Make the arrangements. I’ll at least hear what he’s offering.
- Hylo Visz: Well, he’s already here and it’s probably best not to leave him to his own devices.
Who are we dealing with?Player: So, he’s what, a loan shark?
- Hylo Visz: No, just a liar, and a cheat, and a thief.
- Hylo Visz: The only thing to trust about him is that he can do what he promises. Hear him out.
Seriously?Player: With that kind of recommendation, how can I say no?
- Hylo Visz: I know, I know. We’ve got history.
- Hylo Visz: Come on.

- Lana Beniko: Well, this has been an interesting diversion, but I think it’s time to wrap things up. I call.
-
[[[Did Koth choose to stay?]]] Koth Vortena: Come on, Lana, now…? I fold. -
[[[Did Koth choose to leave?]]] Theron Shan: I know a Sith that’s pleased with herself when I see one. I fold.
- Gault: So soon? Must be quite a hand. Let’s see it.
Player: I know that voice.- Lana Beniko: But– How? You discarded every chance you got and never locked a card the whole round. The odds are astronomical– you cheated!
- Gault: Even if I did, you sure the old boss of Sith Intelligence wants to admit some shifty alien got the better of her?
- Hylo Visz: Wasted no time turning the card table into a graveyard.
- Gault: It’s my preferred method of execution.

Hylo Visz: Commander, the most untrustworthy scoundrel I know. Untrustworthy scoundrel, the commander.
- Gault: She never was big on formalities. Gault Rennow, at your service.
Welcome.Player: Hello, Gault. I hear you have an offer for me.
She doesn’t seem to like you.Player: How is it you two know each other, exactly?
- Gault: Oh, we go way back.
- Hylo Visz: I don’t know, it seems like only yesterday that we first met.
- Gault: Aaanyway… we really should get on to business.
Skip the pleasantries.Player: I haven’t got a lot of time or patience. Why are you here?
- Gault: Oh, I think you’ll make a little of both for this.
Player: Gault.
- Gault: Still a font of outpouring emotion, as always. You should really try your hand at cards.
- Gault: I see you’ve met my shooting star.
- Hylo Visz: They haven’t seen me shooting anything. Yet.
I can guess why you’re here.Player: Hylo tells me you’re here on business. What are you scheming now?
Still in the doghouse, Gault?Player: I see this is a real love hate relationship. She’s the hate, right?
- Gault: Forgiveness is a long, hard road. With lots of toll gates.
- Gault: Much as I’d love to while away the hours with my two favorite ladies in the galaxy, my proposition’s a bit time sensitive. / Much as I enjoy catching up with friends and loved ones, the window of opportunity for my little offer is steadily closing.
Please, shoot away.Player: You could start with his mouth.
- Gault: She’s done enough extra chiseling on my jawline, thank you.
- Gault: Much as I’d love to while away the hours with my two favorite ladies in the galaxy, my proposition’s a bit time sensitive. / Much as I enjoy catching up with friends and loved ones, the window of opportunity for my little offer is steadily closing.
- Gault: The Eternal Empire’s spent the last five years pillaging every world in the known galaxy. How’d you like to turn all that plundering into a profit for you and yours?
- Player: I’m listening.
- Gault: I happen to know where they’re keeping all that ill-gotten gain. Better yet, I’ve got a surefire plan to steal it right out from under their noses.
- Gault: I just the need the help of a few talented, tough customers to see it through.

People like us.Player: And my Alliance is the perfect place for recruitment.
- Gault: I’ve already picked out the ones we’ll need.
Sound too good to be true.Player: That’s quite a score you’re promising. I’m not sure I buy that you’ve got a line on something that big.
- Hylo Visz: Smart.
- Gault: Ahem. Trust me, friend, when it comes to fortune-finding I’m practically a Jedi.
- Hylo Visz: Smart.
I prefer payback.Player: I’d rather break Arcann’s nose than steal from under it, but the consolation prize sounds nice.
- Gault: Consider it a warmup for the main event.
Fits my profile.Player: I’ve been known to misappropriate funds when the need arises.
- Gault: There’s nothing to miss about this appropriation, that I promise.

I’m not a thief.Player: Stealing for financial gain doesn’t generally sit right with me.
- Gault: Think of it as the rightful reclamation of wealth stolen by Arcann in the first place. You’d be striking a real blow to his war effort.
And your angle?Player: What’s this generous offer going to cost me?
- Gault: Only your word, for now, and an even split after the fact. Fifty-fifty. Couldn’t be more fair.
- Gault: Ever heard of the Gilded Star? I’ll stop you there, you haven’t. It’s one of the Eternal Empire’s most tightly-guarded secrets.
- Gault: A floating treasury circling the depths of a massive gas giant. The ship and the buried treasure all wrapped up into one neat little package.
- Gault: Well, maybe not little. By my estimation, it’s the greatest sum of wealth gathered in one place since the Hutt Empire was a thing. So, you in?
Yeah.Player: I’m in.
That’s a persuasive argument.Player: I don’t think I need any more reasons to say yes.
- Gault: I hoped you’d feel that way.

- Player: You haven’t mentioned why we’re here.
- Gault: Giant barge. Full of money. Is this ringing any bells? It’s out there somewhere, swimming below sight and scan range.
Gault: There’s enough magnetism in this place to rival my own. Would have been quite the headache for Mako, I’m sure.
OR

Gault: Something about the magnetism here plays havoc with sensors, and cheap fillings.- Gault: Bottom line is: we’ll never find the Gilded Star out there, which is all the more reason to get our preparations underway.
- Gault: Such as picking up the last member of our illustrious crew.
- Player: How many people are we going to need?
- Gault: Half a dozen, give or take? This is the last one unaccounted for.
- Gault: He should be in a warehouse not far from the dock yards. I’ll point out the place when I see it.

- Gault: So, this plan I mentioned. It’s going to take the best identity forger this side of the galaxy to pull off.
- Gault: Problem is, he’s been in hiding–specifically in that–for a long time. He probably won’t be too thrilled to have visitors.
- Gault: Especially not visitors who had his safehouse shipped a few thousand parsecs unannounced. Be on your toes.
Unannounced?Player: So you kidnapped him.
- Gault: It’s more a change of address.
That’s not reassuring.Player: What makes you think he’ll cooperate?
- Gault: Oh, he’ll come around.
I’m not worried.Player: I think I can handle a grimy hermit.
- Gault: Just don’t kill him, or the only thing getting washed is the plan.
- Gault: Dretcher, is it? They always say retirement’s a good time to travel. Why don’t you come and check out the new scenery?
- Dretcher: Tyresius. You’ve got a lot of nerve showing your ugly mug to me again.

- Dretcher: You can’t play dumb with me, Ty. I know that face better than you do.
This is about your double.Player: He’s the guy that made your duplicate, isn’t he?

He speaks highly of you.Player: Gault tells me you’re the best identity forger in the business. We could use you.
Enough bickering.Player: I don’t care what kind of past you two share. We’ve got business to get to.
- Dretcher: The only thing I’ve got to get to is finally enjoying my retirement.
- Dretcher: I’ve had enough of helping that fraud fake his own death. This time it’s going to stick.
- Dretcher: A little gift for your hospitality. You can mail order just about anything these days.

You fight the Dretcher Battledroids.

- Dretcher: Oh, come on! That’s not how this was supposed to go!
- Gault: Still can’t roll with the punches. You perfectionist types never learn–there’s no such thing as a “sure thing.”
- Player: Why are we trying to recruit someone who wants to kill you?
- Dretcher: He’s the one with the grudge! After I made that body double he went and swindled half of Nar Shaddaa, in my name!
- Gault: Because Dretcher’s literally the only one I trust to pull this off.
- Dretcher: It’s taken everything I know to stay hidden in this little prison. Every time I start to think I can leave, someone snitches on my new identities.
Player: Gault….
OR
OR
OR
OR

OR
Player: That true?- Gault: So maybe I encouraged Dretcher’s early retirement. This little box is cozier than a coffin, and a better place to reflect on how stupid trying to blackmail me was.
- Gault: But hey, ancient history, am I right? I’m more than willing to forget about our past disagreements, if you do one more job for me.
- Dretcher: Like I’d ever help you again!
Even to save the galaxy?Player: Listen, Dretcher. I don’t know how much you know about life on the outside these days, but it’s bad.
- Player: If you want there to be something left to look forward to when you come out, I need your help.
- Gault: And if you think it’s hard to live under the scanners now, just wait until the Eternal Empire’s fully staked their claim on the galaxy.
The grudge isn’t worth it.Player: I can’t imagine you want things to continue as they are. You can get your life back. With interest.
- Gault: More credits than I’ve made in my entire career, Dretch. You know that’s nothing to scoff at.
Here’s how it’s going to be.Player: He’s asking, I’m telling. You’re going to help us with a heist or I’m going to rip you out of there and beat you within an inch of your life.
- Dretcher: Hmph, there’s twenty-five layers of durasteel and cortosis between you and me. We’ll both be dead of old age before you make good on that!
- Gault: It’s true, we might never get into that safe room of yours… but I’m sure this sonic amplifier I brought will have an interesting effect on the contents.
- Gault: So unless you want to spend your final moments being shaken to death by the dulcet tones of the Kashyyyk Life Day Choir, I’d reconsider.
[Are you Light-sided?] This seems cruel and unusual.Player: There have to be laws against this. Broad, intergalactic laws.
- Gault: This? Nah, maybe a noise ordinance, at best.
[Are you NOT light-sided?] Not how I’d want to go.Player: I’d definitely reconsider.
There’s a simpler method.Player: Or maybe I just drop this box off the pier.
[Wookiee Impression]Player: Rrrwargh!
- Gault: Rrwar!
- Dretcher: Okay! Okay!
- Dretcher: Fine! I’ll do the stupid job.
- Gault: Sit tight, Dretch, and get reacquainted with the concept of hygiene. We’ve got one more stop to make before we get to the fun part.

- Gault: Punctual, gentlemen. Glad you could make it all this way. No trouble acquiring my little request, I take?
- Captain Kenrik Fost: Hmph. It’s here. You got our money?
- Gault: Of course, friend, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t ask to see the goods first.
- Captain Kenrik Fost: Satisfied?
This requires explanation.Player: I think you need to tell me more about this plan.
- Gault: We’re getting to that part just as soon as we’re finished here.
Impressive.Player: That’s a fine piece of hardware.
- Gault: It should do.
You can’t be serious.Player: What do we possibly need a missile for?
- Gault: Just the important part, really.
- Captain Kenrik Fost: You got our money?
- Gault: About that… I was really thinking we should renegotiate the price, you know, seeing as I don’t need the whole missile.
- Gault: I thought you might feel that way.
- Missile: Launch sequence initiated. Target acquired. Total atomic dispersal in T-minus one minute!
- Captain Kenrik Fost: You–you son of a–make it stop!
- Gault: Nah.
Gault!Player: Are you insane?
- Gault: Not while I’m negotiating.
I wouldn’t stick around.Player: Hope you’re a good runner.
- Gault: Jumping might be faster.
Seems unnecessary.Player: I could have just killed them.
- Gault: Lacks panache.
- Missile: T-minus fifty-five seconds. Warhead primed: suffering index set to maximum!
- Captain Kenrik Fost: You’re gonna pay for this!
- Gault: Suckers.
- Missile: Abort sequence: aborted. No stopping me now!
- Gault: Ugh, what’d she do to this thing!
- Gault: C’mon, c’mon! It’s not responding!
Try the wiring.Player: Are there any circuits you could cut?
- Gault: Oh sure, dozens–got any ideas which ones?
Forget it, run!Player: I think the pirates had the right idea!
- Gault: If this thing really goes off here, it won’t help.
You son of a…!Player: If I die because you wanted to stiff your dealer, there won’t be a Corellian hell far enough to hide you from me.
- Gault: Less threatening, more helping!
- Missile: Tampering detected, emergency detonation in five seconds. Nice try, jerks!
- Gault: Grr. I can’t tell if she did a terrible job rewiring this or too good of one.

It was.Player: As pranks go, high marks.
- Gault: Ugh, don’t encourage her.
Not funny.Player: I really don’t care for your sense of humor.
- Vette: Lighten up, you’ll get wrinkles.
- Gault: Allow me to introduce my partner, Vette. She has a habit of getting where she’s not wanted. Like on your nerves, for instance.
Vette: Haha! Ha! Ah, haha, you should have seen the–oh!
Player: Vette?- Vette: I didn’t… but I thought you were….
-
Vette: You’re alive! - Gault: Ahem, maybe not the best place for a tearful reunion.
- Gault: Did you get the warhead, or were you too busy practicing your lines?
- Vette: Yes, I got it, grumpy-pants.
-
Vette: Those lizard-brains will be noticing that nothing’s exploded. Why don’t you go deal with that? Or just… y’know… go? - Gault: You want private time, I want to never know what happens in your private time. Win-win. Meet you back at the hideout.
- Vette: Toodles!

You’ll need to look around the area for the three groups of droids, defeat them, and loot them to progress the quest. There’s also a bonus quest called The Conned Strike Back to defeat 12 gang members for fun.

- Gault: If you’re still wondering why you’re here, it isn’t to check out the tibanna gas bars.
- Gault: There’s a stealth cruiser loaded with more precious metals than a Hutt’s taste in art hiding down in the lower atmosphere, and it’s about to come up for air.
- Vette: And while the Gilded Star is roosting at the skyhook for its annual resupply, we’re going to rob it blind!
- Senya: How do you even know about that?
- Vette: A little bird told us. I speak stool-pigeon.
- Senya: Even if you do know where it’s going to be, it’s got a full military compliment onboard and a vault that could survive the ship being reduced to atoms.
- Gault: Most people would consider it impregnable, but we aren’t most people. Are we, Senya?
- Player: You do seem to know a lot about our target.
- Senya: Yes, well, I should. Overseeing the Gilded Star was among my duties when I still served Valkorion.
- SCORPIO: Then you were privy to its operational protocols.
- Senya: I doubt they’re still the same.
- Vette: You don’t have to run the thing, just get SCORPIO to the ship’s control center.
- Senya: There’s no way we could infiltrate that far into the ship undetected.
- Gault: Maybe, maybe not, but I’m pretty sure High Justice Vaylin can go wherever she pleases.
Hence the forger.Player: You’re going to have Senya pose as Vaylin.
- Gault: We’ve got the best identity doctor this side of the galaxy and as close to a genetic match as we’re going to get.
Hold off on the bickering.Player: Let’s just hear the rest of the plan before we start poking holes in it.
- Gault: You’ll have better luck poking holes in the Gilded Star than the plan.
That’s relevant how?Player: So, what, we get her permission?
- Gault: Who needs her permission when you can be her?
- Dretcher: I could never match Vaylin’s gene-sequence like that… though, maybe simulating data corruption in her ID….
- Gault: And create enough doubt to bluff her way through. Dear old mom can manage that, right?
- Gault: Once “Vaylin” and her “attache droid” are on board, they head to the bridge, seize control of the ship and allow the rest of us to do our parts.
- Vette: Like cracking the vault. It isn’t controlled by the network, so I’ve got to get into the guts of the ship to reach the mechanism. I’ll need your help.
-
[[[Did Koth choose to leave?]]] Gault: Meanwhile, Lana and Theron will bridge airlocks with a tanker transport I’ve secured for the goods. -
[[[Did Koth choose to stay with you?]]] Gault: Meanwhile, Lana and Koth will bridge airlocks with a tanker transport I’ve secured for the goods. - Player: How are we going to carry an entire treasury’s worth of loot out of the vault before anyone catches on?
- Gault: Oh, we won’t be carrying anything out of the vault. Into, that’s another story.
- Gault: Remember how Senya mentioned the vault could withstand everything outside being vaporized? Same applies to what we’re setting off inside.
- Player: The warhead.
- Gault: Exactly. I’ll be pulling up the rear with the disintegration bomb. Once it’s done its job, we pump the atmosphere into the waiting tanker and make our escape.
That actually has potential.Player: This is so crazy it just might work.
- Gault: I prefer “unconventional.”
“Just escape,” right.Player: Because everything up to this point has been so simple.
- Gault: I don’t know, running seems pretty straightforward to me.
And the getaway?Player: What’s the exit strategy?- Vette: Once that sucker explodes, the crew’s going to notice. Everybody’s just going to have to high tail it to the transport before they catch on.
- Gault: Now, since we’ve got less than a day before the Gilded Star rolls into port, I’d suggest everybody get real familiar with their part.
Are you a Sith Warrior?
(This conversation is a bit out of order, sorry.)
-
Vette: Don’t tell, but I kinda glossed over our job. It took everything I had not to skip the meeting and just– just– -
Vette: Just that…. If you’ve got something to say I’d make it quick or you’re going to get interrupted.
Don’t rush, my love.Player: I’ve crossed the span of stars and time for this momen–
Vette: It’s still hard to believe you’re really here. It’s been what? Five years since we went after your old boss?
Vette: Did you get konked on the head real good? Amnesia maybe?
Player: Locked in a block of carbonite with nothing by my dreams to pass the time.
Vette: That’s, uh, pretty bad– but better than dead, right?-
Vette: Did you… dream about me in there?
I had visions.Player: I saw you. I saw everyone. The Eternal Empire spared none.
Vette: I know Sith probably measure on a different scale, but I’d call that more of a nightmare.
Vette: It’s just a nightmare though. I’m still here. The rest too, far as I know, so don’t sweat it! Not that there weren’t rough patches….
Vette: If you thought the Sith were treacherous before, you should have seen it after you and Marr disappeared.
Vette: I didn’t have much reason to stick around once you were gone, so I left them to their infighting before the Eternal Empire rolled in. I… hope you don’t mind.
It’s fine.Player: As you said, your loyalty was to me.
- Vette: And it still is! Don’t count me out yet!
- Vette: I should start warming up for this gig.
- Vette: Gotta keep limber, you know.
- End of Conversation
- Vette: We’ll catch up again soon.
I’m just glad you’re alive.Player: You found safety, that’s what’s most important.
- Vette: There were some bumps along the way, but throwing in with Captain Shifty was one of my better moves. Don’t tell him I said so.
I do mind.Player: You ran away as my home, my legacy, crumbled to dust?
- Vette: No– I… I guess you’re right. Maybe I was running away. I’m sorry, I really am, but I’m here now. We’re gonna rebuild it, you’ll see!
Always.Player: Every chance I got.
- Vette: You’re going to tell me about every single one.
Vette: You know, things haven’t exactly been perfect out here either.
Self-centered much?Player: I never realized you were this vain.
- Vette: Hey! I just want hear that I’m as important to you as you are to me. Is that so bad?
Vette: Were the dreams good, at least?-
Vette: Maybe a certain someone waiting on you hand on foot, groveling at your every word, maybe wearing a shock collar? Quinn, I’m talking about Quinn.
Nothing pleasant.Player: I watched you all die and Dromund Kaas burn as the Emperor’s laughter echoed all around.
I wouldn’t do that.Player: I forgave him long ago.
- Vette: Oh, I know, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take a little guilty pleasure in it.
Inventive thought.Player: You are a practiced dreamer, aren’t you?
- Vette: Being a slave tends to make you real good at it.
-
[[[I think this line got cut, but could play if you were a female character and references the Sith Warrior companion Pierce.]]] Vette: Anything juicy? Bet you saw a lot of Lieutenant Muscles.
Nothing pleasant.Player: I watched you all die and Dromund Kaas burn as the Emperor’s laughter echoed all around.
He has his uses.Player: Pierce has often made for good company in a long cold night.
- Vette: Hee hee, I knew it! You aren’t so far from normal after all.
Like I’d tell you.Player: And what affair of yours is that?
Vette: Oooo, touched a nerve. Say no more!
Vette: Lots of cowering masses and Imperials marching? That’s my best guess.
Nothing pleasant.Player: I watched you all die and Dromund Kaas burn as the Emperor’s laughter echoed all around.
We’ve fallen so far.Player: Those things are only found in dreams these days.
Vette: Aww, now that you’re back I’m sure you’ll have the whole galaxy quaking in terror in no time.
Doesn’t matter.Player: Dreams are nothing of consequence. Better to focus on reality.
Vette: Reality’s pretty overrated.
[Flirt] Interrupt away.Player: It can wait.
Some space, please.Player: This is… a shock, Vette. Give me some room to take it all in.
-
Vette: But I– We– You aren’t excited? I can hardly breathe!
I was just overwhelmed.Player: I don’t think I’ve ever been happier.
[Flirt] I like that feeling.Player: And here I thought it was the atmosphere.
Contain yourself.Player: Until this afternoon we were widowers.
-
Player: Things between us can’t be like they were. A lot has happened. Now isn’t the time to hear about it all. - Vette: You… stupid… heartless… jerk!
- Vette: Just forget I said anything. I need to go find a dark hole to crawl into that isn’t related to work.
- End of Conversation
[[[Did you remove Vette’s collar as a Sith Warrior?]]] Vette: So, you’re not dead. That’s good. I guess.
Vette: I know it’s going to be hard having to hear an opinion or acknowledge that I have feelings, but I’m not “yours” anymore.
Vette: There’s no collar, and no us. Just the job. Don’t make it weird.
-
-
Very well.Player: We each have our own reasons for being here, let’s leave it at that.
- Vette: Glad that’s cleared up.
- Vette: I like the way things are for me now. You coming back into the picture isn’t going to change that. I won’t let it.
- Vette: You need something, you’re going to have to ask. Nicely.
- End of Conversation
It’s good you’re okay.Player: I hardly imagined you’d be pleased to see me. I’m pleased to see that you’re alive, none the less.
- Vette: Missed your favorite target for abuse?
I can do more than shock you.Player: I don’t need the collar to put you in your place, Vette.
- Vette: Yeah, you’re the big bad Sith. I know.
Vette: Sorry about the prank earlier. If I’d known you were here– or, you know, alive– I’d have held off… but I finally got him!
Be more careful.Player: I hope you’ll be taking the task at hand more seriously. There doesn’t seem to be room for error.
Vette: Don’t you worry about me. I’ll be the best living lockpick you’ve ever seen.
Finally?Player: How long have you been trying, Vette?
Vette: Eh, we haven’t worked together a ton… so, maybe a dozen? He’s a sly one.
You’ll never grow up.Player: Same rampant troublemaker, I see.
Vette: Same grumpy serious-face, I see.
Are you a Bounty Hunter?
(This conversation is a bit out of order, sorry.)
Gault: You look good, all things considered.
Gault: Maybe I should lie down for one of these deep freezes, see what it does for my complexion.
I wouldn’t.Player: Can’t recommend it.
Gault: Eh, perfection isn’t meant to last anyway.
Doesn’t seem like your thing.Player: Sure you can commit to anything that long?
Gault: Oh, come on, I get enough of that from from the old lady. Young lady? It’s… still weird.
Not funny, Gault.Player: Yeah? Hold still.
Gault: Hey, hey, hey! Just breaking the ice, not looking to be it.
Gault: Hylo gave me the rundown. Not much of an early retirement if you ask me.
Gault: We came looking, you know? Even the angry tumor. It was about the third trip into the Spire when things started to come apart.
I appreciate the effort.Player: Lana and her crew barely managed it themselves.
- Gault: Well, keep that to yourself. I don’t like being one upped.
Come apart?Player: What happened?
- Gault: It wasn’t so much that anything happened as nothing really did.
You’re just saying that.Player: Skadge helped? I thought you were a better liar.
Gault: Is it so hard believe he wanted to break things? Besides, I think you were the only one he didn’t immediately look to strangle.
Gault: We knew better than to believe the Eternal Empire’s cover story, but I’ve seen ghosts leave bigger traces. Probably on something we were doing.
Gault: We were going broke and turning up nothing. With the galaxy coming apart, priorities shifted and everybody wandered their separate ways.
That’s how it goes.Player: Have to stick with the times.
- Gault: Yeah, well, sorry.
[[[Are you aBounty Hunter, and did you marry Torian?]]] What about my husband?Player: There’s no way Torian would give up on me.
[[[Did you become a Mandalorian in the Bounty Hunter story?]]] Gault: Last I saw, he was doing whatever gobbledygook word you people have for “kicking the stuffing out of” Zakuul.
[[[Did you not become a Mandalorian in the Bounty Hunter story?]] Gault: Kid always was stubborn, and first love’s are hard to let go.
[[[Are you aBounty Hunter, and did you marry Mako?]]] Mako take it hard?Player: I told Mako I’d always be there for her. I couldn’t keep my promise.
- Gault: I think not knowing for sure what happened to you helped. You know how she gets when there’s something she needs to find out.
[[[Are you a Bounty Hunter, and romanced neither Makor and Torian, so they wound up together?]]] Mako and Torian?Player: Even the lovebirds?
- Gault: Couldn’t say, but I know you meant a lot to the both of them.
That’s a shame.Player: I’d kinda hoped you’d all stick together. Guess I’m getting sentimental.
- Gault: Aren’t we all. Word of advice from your elders: the longer you fight it, the harder it hits.
“Priorities shifted”? Right.Player: At least have the spine to say it like it is. You left me for dead.
- Gault: If you wanted to be uncharitable about it, sure, but I’ve been getting plenty of practice in making up. I did come bearing gifts.
- Gault: Compared to all that, this little caper should be a piece of cake.
- Gault: Just be ready to show these amateurs what a couple old pros can do.

- Gault: This is close enough. And there’s the Gilded Star, just like I promised.

- Vette: I was expecting shinier.
- Gault: “Gold-plated” and “stealth ship” don’t exactly line up. Now we just have to hope mommy dearest remembers her daughter’s birthday.
- Senya: I can kill you from here, Gault.
- Gault: Great, really getting into the spirit of your character. At least, from what I hear.
- Senya: Shut up.
- SCORPIO: We are approaching the checkpoint. No further communications are warranted until the bridge is under our control.
- Gault: Roger. Break a leg, ladies. It’s in their hands now. All we’ve got to do is wait.
Let’s go over my part again.Player: Once they open the way for us, all we have to do is get this bomb inside the vault?
- Gault: Assuming everything goes according to plan.
- Gault: But hey, if something has to go horribly wrong, now’s the best time. For us anyway.
Not funny.Player: We’re not leaving anyone behind, Gault.
- Gault: Only kidding, I’d never abandon a close personal associate in their time of need.
- Vette: What about that thing with Kai?
- Gault: He was an idiot.
- Vette: True.
That’s still pretty bad.Player: I honestly can’t tell if that’s optimism.
- Gault: Oh sure, I’d be less than thrilled to have my perfect shot at ludicrous affluence botched by rank amateurs, but live to filch another day and all that.
What’s your backup plan?Player: Worst case scenario, what happens?
- Gault: There’s a dock full of transports and haulers right that way. Not a coincidence, I assure you.
She’s out of her element.Player: You think Senya is really cut out for this sort of role?
- Gault: Doesn’t matter, she’s the only one with a shot at it.
About that sabacc game….Player: So, how did you manage to fleece Lana at cards anyway?
OR
OR
OR
Gault: You’ve got a pretty good handle on all that Force nonsense. What would you do if you were at the sabacc table?
OR
OR
OR
Find what you’re thinking.Player: Read my opponent, try to pick up their thoughts and emotions.
- Gault: Exactly.
OR
OR
OR
Peek into the future.Player: Predict the cards that will come up and play accordingly.
- Gault: Pfft. If you’re only thinking about your next draw, you’ve already lost.
OR
Levitate it out the door.Player: Sweep it clean with the force and make my way to the exit.
- Gault: Reassuring. I’ll remember that when we’re dividing shares, pal.
OR
Take what I want.Player: Crush your feeble throat and claim the prize.
- Gault: Just because your opponent has a sixth sense doesn’t mean you can’t use it distract them.
- Gault: I could tell Lana was trying to peek inside my head, so I just made sure she got an eyeful.
- Gault: The angry glares she flashed were easier to read than anything I was doing. As for the rest, well, trade secrets, you know.
Impressive.Player: Turning her advantage into yours, clever.
- Gault: When you make your living in the galaxy’s cess pits, it never hurts to be able to sink lower than the competition.
But I want the whole story.Player: Come on, we’re partners now, no secrets between us.
- Gault: When I’ve got enough credits to buy half the galaxy, maybe we’ll talk.
I don’t believe you.Player: You kept your mind in the gutter to counter her perception of the Force? You’re full of it.
OR

Gault: Care to give it a try?

No.Player: I’ll take your word for it.- Gault: When you make your living in the galaxy’s cess pits, it never hurts to be able to sink lower than the competition.
- SCORPIO: I am now in complete control of the Gilded Star’s network. I will isolate the vessel’s sentinels to the best of this system’s ability.
- Gault: Show time.

- Vette: Okay, I ought to be able to reach the vault mechanism along this route. Keep clearing a path for Gault and I’ll see you soon!
- Gault: I really really hope they check for mynocks.
- Vette: Are you sure those schematics were scaled in meters? I can hardly move!
- Gault: My last partner didn’t complain nearly this much.
- Vette: Your last partner was crushed to death!
- Gault: And never once complained about it!

You fight a Knight of Zakuul (or stealth through).

- Gault: Okay, Vette, I’m here.
- Vette: Just… gimme a sec….
- Gault: Time’s a factor.
- Vette: Hey, you wanna cut through a foot of cortosis and steel while hanging upside down in a half-meter crawlspace?
- Vette: There…! Jerk. Try it.
- Player: The moment of truth.
Gault: You know, I was loaded before you were tracking me down, but it was all zeros on a balance sheet.
OR
OR
OR

Gault: I’ve been rich, filthy rich, but nothing like this. Counting the zeros on a balance sheet can’t even compare.- Gault: There’s just something magical about the real thing.
Focus on the job.Player: It’s not ours yet.
- Gault: Yet, being the operative word.
Hurry up!Player: Stop drooling and help me set this charge.
- Gault: I’ll be sure to tell SCORPIO to suck the joy out along with the goods.
No kidding.Player: I couldn’t begin to put a number to all this.
- Gault: At a certain point, you just stop counting.
- Gault: It won’t look nearly as impressive in a second, but it’ll spend all the same.
- Gault: Do the honors?
Call this a win.Player: For the Alliance, and freedom.
Thanks, I will.Player: To lucrative partnerships.
I enjoy every shot I can take.Player: Let’s see how much Arcann enjoys this.- Gault: Payload’s delivered, it’s time for the paydirt.
- Lana Beniko: We are in position… extending umbilical… seal is tight. All green.

- SCORPIO: Airlock disengaged. Awaiting order for depressurization.
- Vette: Door is… open!
- SCORPIO: Commencing depressurization.
- Lana Beniko: Tank is filling. So far, so good.
- SCORPIO: It will take approximately ten minutes seventeen seconds to siphon a space of that volume.

- Gault: Plenty of time to make our exit.
- Vette: Great, let’s blow this joint!
I second that.Player: I’m sure we’ve worn out our welcome.
- Vette: See, perfectly justified acquisition. Come on, I want to try this thing out!
Where’d that come from, Vette?Player: Did you bring that with you?
- Vette: This little thing? Nah. I passed the armory and it was just laying around, so I figured nobody’d miss it.
You’re always popping up.Player: You enjoy doing that, don’t you?
- Vette: Maybe a little–a lot–what good is being sneaky if you can’t make a great entrance?
- SCORPIO: It is unlikely the detonation went unnoticed. After we vacate the bridge, I will no longer be able to maintain a complete lockdown.
- Gault: Just scramble the systems as best you can and leg it to the tanker–we’ll see you there.
In the cutscene, you see the gold Republic/Imperial credit ingots vaporized and siphoned.

- Lana Beniko: We’re at capacity. SCORPIO and Senya are on board. What’s the situation?
- Gault: We’re keeping them busy on our end, but I don’t think we’re any closer to reaching you.
- Gault: SCORPIO, do you still have any access to the blast doors?
- SCORPIO: Only through direct input.
- Gault: Great… just bug out before anyone notices you buzzing around! We’ll take the skyhook back down and meet you at the hideout.
- Gault: Just play it cool, my guardian angel will handle anybody taking an unhealthy interest.

- Gault: Oh, boy.
- Player: The lift’s not coming, is it?
- Gault: Oh, no, it’s coming. It’s just not empty.
- Senya: Vaylin. I can sense her presence.
- Gault: Time for Plan B.
- Player: What’s Plan B?
- Gault: Run and hope for a Plan C.
There has to be something.Player: What about the escape pods, or calling back the tanker to pick us up?
- Gault: Too slow, not to mention it’s our only bargaining chip if we get caught, and I’d rather wind up caught than take your other suggestion.
- Gault: We’d never be seen again down in that murk. The Skyhook’s still the best option, there’s just the matter of getting on.
That’s it?Player: I was expecting something a bit more concrete.
- Gault: There’s being prepared and being psychic. For lack of a crystal ball, we’ll have to improvise.
- Gault: Even if you win, and don’t turn the Skyhook into crumbled wreckage, we’ll still be surrounded by thousands of her flunkeys.
Let’s fight.Player: I’m tired of running from Vaylin.
- Gault: Well I’ve got a few laps left in me.
- Gault: We have to go around.
- Player: There is no around.
- Gault: There is out there.
- Player: You want us to scale the exterior?
- Gault: Pretty much. Look, there’s no time to stand here arguing, so I recommend lodging your complaints at a steady jog.
- Vette: Ah, it’s not so bad. Just don’t look down or consider your own mortality.
- Vette: Goodbye, Spewie. I’ll never forget you!

You fight Knight of Zakuul.

You fight the Skytrooper <Elite Skytrooper>.

When he is in the sky with a blue shield, he is invulnerable, so attack his Skytrooper minions.

You can run his red circles over to the Skytroopers and it will knock them over and explode them.

Stay away from the edge so you don’t get knocked off.

- Gault: Okay, so… remember Plan C?
- Player: You never actually got to Plan C, Gault.
- Gault: Turns out Plan C is: Jump!

- Vaylin: Mother was here. Again! She had the audacity to wear my face!
- Arcann: And her punishment?
- Vaylin: Escaped. She knows I won’t be bested the next time we meet.
- Arcann: Are empty threats all you’ve brought for me?
- Vaylin: I interrupted their little raid on the treasury. They couldn’t have accomplished much in the time they were here.
- Vaylin: Mother!

- Gault: Perfect timing.
- Hylo Visz: I’m not the one who has a problem showing up when I’m supposed to.
- Gault: Geez, how long are you planning to hold that over me?
- Hylo Visz: The rest of your life, naturally.
- Hylo Visz: Thanks for keeping my worse half out of too much trouble.
Business as usual.Player: I’m used to it by now.
- Gault: And richer for it.
Gault’s not so bad.Player: You should ease up on him, I don’t think he’s worked this hard for anything in his life.
Hylo Visz: Oh, money tends to make him real industrious.
Player: I was talking about you.- Hylo Visz: Oh– I….
- Gault: She’ll make a semi-honest man out of me yet.
More trouble than I care for.Player: I forgot what a handful your boyfriend is.
- Gault: I seem to recall spending a lot less time ducking before I met you.
- Hylo Visz: He said that on our first heist too. He’s cute when he’s nervous.

I was forewarned.Player: It helped that you tempered my expectations accordingly.
- Gault: Singing my praises again?
- Hylo Visz: The lower octaves.

- Gault: You never could hold a tune. Ow!
OR

Worse-half?Player: You two… are a couple?

We just jumped off a starship.Player: You don’t consider that “too much trouble”?
- Hylo Visz: Mm, we’ve had way closer calls.
- Gault: Don’t let her fool you, I’m the cautious one in this arrangement.
- Gault: Anyway, I think we’ve all had our fill of Vandin and it’s going to get a lot less hospitable shortly, so… shall we?
- Gault: Anyway, I think we’ve all had our fill of Vandin and it’s going to get a lot less hospitable shortly, so… shall we?
- Player: Let’s get our haul back to Odessen.

- Vette: Ah, there’s nothing like coming home from a job well done. Especially when you’ve ruined a huge jerk’s day in the process.
- Gault: Couldn’t agree more. Come to think of it, our plan was lacking in one department.
- Vette: An actual escape route?
- Gault: It was the scenic route. Can’t argue with the view.
- Gault: No, the one thing missing was a way to see the look on Arcann’s face when he got the news.
That’s not so important.Player: I hope it has an effect on more than his ego.
- Gault: I wouldn’t expect an overnight collapse, but when his highness’s checks start bouncing, it’ll shake things up. Count on that.
Crying shame.Player: That’s a pretty big oversight, Gault. It’s coming out of your cut.
- Gault: Let’s not get carried away, we’re talking a fringe benefit at best.
To hell with him.Player: He doesn’t have much of a face anyway.
- Gault: Ah, it’s probably better in my imagination.
- Gault: Now, how about we get on with my favorite part and divvy up the loot?
- Hylo Visz: Already taken care of. You, Vette, and Dretcher are already paid out. I took the liberty of skimming what you still owe me off yours.
- Gault: Take all the fun out of it why don’t you.
- Hylo Visz: Your idea of fun is why your divvying privileges are still revoked.
Player: Seconded.
OR
OR
OR
OR
OR
OR
Player: Just what did you do, exactly?
- Hylo Visz: Ran out on me with the biggest score of our careers.
- Gault: And I regretted it ever since. Well, after the shine wore off. A little older, a little wiser, you know? Okay–maybe a lot older. It was a formative moment!
- Gault: Hey, I only ever cheated you before we started working together.
- Gault: The point is we’re on to bigger and better things. Like melting a mint down into an ocean of liquid happiness.
- Gault: Now, however you want to spend your cut is none of my business, but if you want to say, triple it, I might have a little something in the works.
- Senya: This money isn’t ours. I don’t mind taking it from Arcann, but I want nothing to do with it.
-
[[[Did Koth choose to stay with you?]]] Koth Vortena: It does feel wrong to keep it. - Lana Beniko: Our goal was to fund the Alliance, not personal gain.
- Gault: Who says it can’t be both? You just need a little ambition.
- Vette: Or, you know, you could try giving. Maybe just once, see what you’ve been missing?
- Vette: My share’s going toward buying back some of the artifacts stolen from my people, freeing slaves… giving Twi’leks a better place in the galaxy.
- Hylo Visz: Honestly, we’ve got way more than we need for operations. It’d be good to have a plan for the excess.

Keep it in the Alliance.Player: Start putting together a plan to expand. Every credit we have needs to go towards overthrowing Arcann.
- Hylo Visz: I’ll give you rundown of the books as soon as we’ve got real numbers to work with.
- Gault: Right now, I think we’ve earned a long night of not thinking about tomorrow.
- Senya: Make sure the ends justify the means.
- Lana Beniko: We’re in no position to be proud. Necessity will ask us to consider much worse before this is all done.
- Gault: Wasted opportunity, chum, but I won’t fault you for playing it safe under the circumstances.

Vette: If your Alliance happens to need a morale officer, I’m game. Kicking Arcann’s butt should require a full-time party planner.- Gault: Speaking of parties.
- Gault: This stuff sells for more than most freighters. Grab some glasses and get to know what success tastes like.
Return it to the people.Player: I’d like to distribute our surplus back to the worlds Arcann plundered. I don’t care how.
- SCORPIO: A fruitless gesture. That wealth will return to the Eternal Empire so long as they remain in power.
- [[[Did Koth choose to stay with you?]]] Koth Vortena: People are suffering out there. What are we doing if not trying to help them?
- SCORPIO: If you are confused, our objective is not to alleviate suffering. It is removing the Eternal Empire from power.

Player: It looks like we’re settled up.- Senya: It’s the right thing to do. I gladly give it up to help atone for my part in taking it.
- SCORPIO: A sentimental decision. Flawed and foolish. Ultimately we will regret it.

Give Gault what he needs.Player: I’m not going to pass up an opportunity to triple our take, just keep an eye on that investment.
- Hylo Visz: Oh, don’t worry, I’ll make sure he coughs up every last credit.
- Vette: I kinda thought the point of this “alliance” was to do some good in the galaxy, but I guess I’m not really surprised. Everybody’s got an angle.
- Lana Beniko: I understand you decision, Commander. I only ask that you not lose sight of the bigger picture while serving your ambition.

- Theron Shan: Commander… Major Jorgan and Kaliyo just landed. They’re in the docking bay.
- Lana Beniko: So much for celebrating. Go ahead. We’ll be right behind.

The final cutscene of Chapter 13 changes a lot depending on whether you sent Aric Jorgan or Kaliyo in Chapter 12.

[[[Did you send Kaliyo to the relay station AND Aric Jorgan disobeyed orders and rushed in to help her afterwards?]]]
- Kaliyo Djannis: I was thirty meters from a computer that would’ve given me the GEMINI frequency! But no–your idiot brigade had to come in blasting!
- Aric Jorgan: You were surrounded! We saved you!
- Kaliyo Djannis: And blew the mission! If it wasn’t for my backup plan, you would’ve died down there!
- Aric Jorgan: “Backup plan?” Your escape route detonated a hospital!
[[[If you sent Aric Jorgan to the relay station, AND Kaliyo disobeyed your orders and rushed in to help Aric Jorgan afterwards]]]
- Aric Jorgan: Total mission failure! We’ll never get another shot at the target, because of you. This is what happens when a criminal gets in the way of real soldiers!
- Kaliyo Djannis: You’re welcome! Next time, I’ll let the enemy kill you!
- Aric Jorgan: We had them in a corner until you started tossing thermal detonators! I lost four good people because of your lack of discipline!
- Kaliyo Djannis: If they were so good, why are they dead?

I’m glad you’re both alive.Player: I don’t care what happened on Zakuul. I’m just happy you two made it back in one piece.
- Aric Jorgan: A lot of people weren’t so lucky. That’s on her.

[[[If you chose to send Kaliyo in Chapter 12]]] Explain yourself, Kaliyo.Player: You blew up a hospital getting off Zakuul?
- Kaliyo Djannis: How was I supposed to know what was on the other side of that wall? You expect me to knock?

[[[If you chose to send Aric Jorgan in Chapter 12]]] Accept some blame, Jorgan.Player: The reason Kaliyo went in is because Havoc Squad got in trouble.
- Aric Jorgan: We were expendable. If she’d stayed away, we could’ve destroyed the fleet’s control center.
You’re both useless!Player: Enough! You both failed the mission, this Alliance, and me!
- Kaliyo Djannis: I don’t get points for bringing Major Misfire home alive? Good to know for next time.
- Kaliyo Djannis: It wasn’t a complete loss. I grabbed something on the way out–
- Aric Jorgan: My fire team covered you.
- Kaliyo Djannis: Yeah, yeah… point is, we lifted the datacore from a security console right outside that hyperwave relay station.
- Kaliyo Djannis: It’s not the key to the GEMINI frequency, but it does contain a massive file archive all about those droids.
- Lana Beniko: I’ll put SCORPIO to work sifting through the information. See if there’s anything to salvage from this fiasco.
Good idea, Lana.Player: There’s bound to be something we can use. We’re not giving up on eliminating Arcann’s fleet.
- Lana Beniko: We won’t get a second chance at the hyperwave relay station. We’ll just have to hope we find an alternative.
People died for that data.Player: Whatever’s in those files has to make up for the lives that were lost getting them.
- Aric Jorgan: Nobody regrets those losses more than me, Commander. The casualties were unacceptable.
Incompetence must be punished.Player: “Fiasco” doesn’t begin to cover it. If I can’t trust you people to complete your missions, what good are you to me?
- Theron Shan: It could’ve gone much worse, but we can’t let this happen again.

[[[If you sent Aric Jorgan to the relay station, AND Kaliyo disobeyed your orders and rushed in to help Aric Jorgan afterwards]]]
- Theron Shan: Kaliyo disobeyed a direct order from you when she went after Major Jorgan. In the SIS, she’d be classified as a rogue agent and sanctioned accordingly.
I’m partially to blame.Player: No one needs to be punished. I was supposed to lead the mission. If I had, maybe none of this would’ve happened.
- Kaliyo Djannis: That’s an excellent point.
- Kaliyo Djannis: I’m just saying we skip the moping and get back to winning the war.
- Player: Remember why we fight, and don’t forget this failure. Dismissed.
Kaliyo, how do you plead?Player:
- Player: Do you have anything to say in your defense?
- Kaliyo Djannis: You knew what I was when you hired me. I shouldn’t have to apologize.
- [You choose from the below options.]
My sanction will be swift.Player:
- Player: I don’t have time for a trial, and I’m not interested in your excuses.
- Kaliyo Djannis: I don’t care what anyone else thinks. I did the right thing.

I agree. Carry on.Player: You did your best. So did he. That’s all I ask. End of discussion.

[[[If you married Kaliyo in your class story]] Kaliyo Djannis: If you think of anything you’d like to add… I’ll be in your bunk.- Kaliyo Djannis: Fine. If anyone needs me for the rest of the day… find someone else.
You’re exiled–forever.Player: It was a mistake to recruit you, Kaliyo. The Alliance needs people it can trust. That isn’t you. Go. Don’t come back.

[[[If you married Kaliyo in your class story]]] Kaliyo Djannis: After everything we’ve been through, this is how we end?
Kaliyo Djannis: You know what? That’s fine. No–it’s perfect.

[[[If you did not marry Kaliyo in your class story]]] Kaliyo Djannis: Yeah? Well, I’ve been fired from better jobs than this.- Lana Beniko: We should get back to work.
- Theron Shan: We can’t just let her leave. She knows our location. Our plans.
- Player: She knows what’ll happen if she betrays us.

[[[This variable is called showed_concern_for_team = true, I am guessing it’ if you said you are glad they are both alive earlier.]]]Mess up again, and we’re done.Player: If anything like this ever happens again, we’re finished. Understood?

[[[If you married Kaliyo in your class story]]] Kaliyo Djannis: I guess we both changed a lot in five years.- Kaliyo Djannis: Next time, do the smart thing. Send me in alone.

[[[This variable is called showed_concern_for_team = false, I am guessing it’ if you said you are glad they are both alive earlier. It may be considered dark-side.]]]Your punishment is death.Player: You’re worse than reckless. You’re dangerous. You don’t care about anyone but yourself. Serving the Alliance was your last chance, Kaliyo. There’s no coming back from this failure.

[[[If you married Kaliyo in your class story]]] Kaliyo Djannis: I always knew it would end like this. Should’ve kept my job with Nem’ro.
[[[If you did not marry Kaliyo in your class story]]] Kaliyo Djannis: What are you gonna do? Kill me?
- Player: Yes. Exactly.

[[[If you married Kaliyo in your class story]]] Aric Jorgan: She was your… I can’t believe you would….
[[[If you did not marry Kaliyo in your class story]]] Aric Jorgan: She had to be dealt with, but that….- Lana Beniko: Major, perhaps you can arrange a maintenance detail to clean up the mess?

[[[Did you send Kaliyo to the relay station AND Aric Jorgan disobeyed orders and rushed in to help her afterwards?]]]
- Theron Shan: Major Jorgan disobeyed your orders not to follow Kaliyo. In the Republic military, that kind of insubordination is grounds for court-martial.
I’m partially to blame.Player: No one needs to be punished. I was supposed to lead the mission. If I had, maybe none of this would’ve happened.
No trial. Just my verdict.Player:
- Player: This isn’t the Republic. I’m in charge, and I’m ready to pass judgment now.
- Aric Jorgan: Understood, Commander. I accept your decision.
- [You choose from the below options.]
Defend your actions, Jorgan.Player:
- Player: I’ll give you a chance to convince me otherwise, Major.
- Aric Jorgan: Havoc Squad doesn’t make excuses. I take full responsibility for my actions.

No punishment is necessary.Player: Everyone here is doing their best, and I know you’ll learn from this mistake. Let’s all move on.

[[[Did you marry Aric Jorgan during the Trooper story?]]] Aric Jorgan: I won’t have people thinking you’re soft on me because of our relationship. I’m placing myself on maintenance detail whenever we’re not on patrol.
[[[Did you not marry Aric Jorgan during the Trooper story?]]]Aric Jorgan: I let pride get the better of me. It won’t happen again.
Player: As you wish, Major.
Aric Jorgan: Thank you, Commander.
You’re exiled–forever.Player: I expected more from a highly-trained special forces leader. The Alliance has no use for Havoc Squad. Leave. Don’t come back.
[[[Did you marry Aric Jorgan during the Trooper story?]]] Aric Jorgan: I spent five years thinking you were dead. But this? It’s worse.
[[[Did you not marry Aric Jorgan during the Trooper story?]]] Aric Jorgan: We were fighting Arcann before you came along. That won’t stop–but we’ll keep out of your way.- Lana Beniko: And if Arcann should capture him? Force him to reveal our location?
- Aric Jorgan: That won’t happen. I’ll die first.
- Theron Shan: I believe him.

[[[This variable is called showed_concern_for_team = true, I am guessing it’ if you said you are glad they are both alive earlier. It may be considered dark-side.]]]Mess up again, and we’re done.Player: From now on, follow my orders to the letter. I don’t want to replace Havoc Squad’s commander–but I will.
[[[Did you marry Aric Jorgan during the Trooper story?]]] Aric Jorgan: I won’t let you down again.
[[[Did you not marry Aric Jorgan during the Trooper story?]]]Aric Jorgan: That won’t be necessary.

[[[
This variable is called showed_concern_for_team = false, I am guessing it’ if you did not say you are glad they are both alive earlier.]]]My sentence is death.Player: You abandoned the Republic and defied my Alliance. You’ve dishonored the Havoc Squad name. I can’t trust you… and I won’t have you disrupting my operations any further.

[[[Did you marry Aric Jorgan during the Trooper story?]]] Aric Jorgan: You… you can’t. I love you.
Player: You’re not the man I fell in love with. I lost him years ago.
Kaliyo Djannis: That’s quite a way to end a relationship.
- Aric Jorgan: So, what? Toss me in the brig? Is that it?
- Player: We don’t have a brig.
- Player: That’s how I deal with people who fail me. No exceptions for anyone. Understood?
- Lana Beniko: Your point is well-taken, Commander.
- Kaliyo Djannis: Good riddance. Can I go now?
- [You kill Aric Jorgan by shooting him point-blank. He falls to the floor among the coffins of his fire team.]

[[[I this this is the backup option… I’m not sure what requirements you would need to get it to show up. It could also be cut dialogue.]]]
- Theron Shan: Commander, I recommend these operatives be confined to base for the time being.
- Kaliyo Djannis: What? Forget that!
- Aric Jorgan: No, he’s right. We didn’t function like a team, and other people paid with their lives.
I’m partially to blame.Player: No one needs to be punished. I was supposed to lead the mission. If I had, maybe none of this would’ve happened.
Just do better, next time.Player: This is war. We can’t always avoid casualties, but I expect you to get better at your jobs–and work together. Dismissed.
- Lana Beniko: You heard the Commander.
You’ll both work menial jobs.Player: Until you earn back my trust, you’re on maintenance detail.
- Kaliyo Djannis: I didn’t sign up for that.
- Player: The more you talk back, the longer you’ll spend scrubbing decks. Get moving–now.

- Vaylin: I’ll start with her fingertips and work my way up. Take one knuckle at a time… then her hands….
- Arcann: Do you remember Mother? Not what she is now. When we were children.
- Vaylin: I remember her telling Father I was dangerous. How I had to be controlled. She always hated me.
- Arcann: She never understood us. Or Father.
- Vaylin: She helped the Outlander steal our pretties. They took everything.
- Arcann: Those things can be replaced.
- Vaylin: When all the worlds we’ve conquered find out what’s happened, they’ll think we’re weak. Test us.
- Arcann: I remain the greatest power the galaxy has ever seen. My enemies know what I’ll do to them if they cross me.
- Vaylin: Fear is always free.
- Arcann: I will be generous with it.
