The Knights of the Fallen Empire Chapter VII: Lady of Sorrows chapter takes place in the third expansion of Star Wars: The Old Republic, in starting in the gravestone, then moving into the underworld of Zakuul.
Dialogue

The dialogue below is an example of what the dialogue trees may look like, but may not reflect how it is in-game exactly, due to some options not being used, and the way the dialogue trees are non-linear. I’ve done my best to put the text together in a fun way where you can look at the differences in the dialogue choices, and see the different wordings depending on your class, faction or alignment. There will potentially be spoilers from every class story and every expansion before this one. Enjoy!
Thereare different dialogue trees depending on if you are an Agent or not, and who you choose to bring along.

My favorite differences include:
- In the first dialogue, when you step away to talk with Lana, there is a large dialogue difference about whether or not you told Lana about Valkorion in your mind back in Chapter 4, and the trust between you.
- You have the option to skip the entire conversation with Senya about her relationship with Valkorion. Not just spacebar skip – but to tell Senya you should keep moving.
- Talking to Mona Gale for the first time and introducing yourself with your official title depending on your class is hilarious, she responds “sounds made up”.
- There’s lots of different dialogue if you choose to take Senya vs Koth.
- If you are an Imperial Agent, you get a whole extra section of dialogue with SCORPIO.
- You can kill or tie up Novo the Zakuul Knight, and he remembers if you killed or spared his partner earlier in Chapter 3.
Introduction

With the help of Senya Tirall, <name> has completed the rigorous trials of the prophetic Scions of Zakuul, potentially gaining a powerful new group of allies.
But at the trials’ conclusion, Senya stunned <name>’s entire crew by revealing that she is the former consort of Valkorion and mother of Arcann and Vaylin!
As Senya’s loyalties are brought into question, the crew learns that they’ll need the help of another enigmatic and dangerous ally: an information broker known as THE LADY OF SORROWS….
Cutscenes

- Senya: I take it you have concerns.
- Koth Vortena: I can think of a few.
- Lana Beniko: You’re only escalating matters.
- Koth Vortena: You expect us to believe you’re going to fight your own children?
- Senya: I can’t deny my responsibility for what Vaylin and Arcann have become. I have to end their bloodshed.
Then welcome aboard.Player: We’ll be glad to help you with that.
- Senya: Good.
Were you in love with Valkorion?Player: What did you see in Valkorion that you had children with him?
- Senya: You say he was a homicidal tyrant, but that isn’t the man I knew. He was benevolent, wise, even kind. At least, at first.
You couldn’t have done worse.Player: How could you have raised such monsters? You’re telling us you didn’t see this coming?
- Senya: Of course I did.
- Senya: We never agreed on how the children should be raised, and over time, he became more and more distant… more cold.
- Senya: I was afraid for what the children would become, but when I decided to leave… they chose him. I couldn’t force them.
- Koth Vortena: You’ve been lying to us all this time. Now you give us this woe-is-me story and we’re supposed to take your word for it?
- Senya: You don’t have to take my word. You can ask the Immortal Emperor himself.

Player: I’m not him. I’m me.- Koth Vortena: When Valkorion was in charge, he wasn’t fixated on waging war. If we can get him back on the throne….
- Lana Beniko: Valkorion is a world devourer.
- Koth Vortena: He brought direction and stability to Zakuul.
- Lana Beniko: Trust me, Koth, you don’t know him like I do.
- Koth Vortena: No, you don’t know him like I do.
- Senya: Neither of you know him like I do.
- Koth Vortena: Try sharing a little less.
- Senya: That–that isn’t what I meant….
- HK-55: Interruption: The Republic astromech has established contact.
- Lana Beniko: Teeseven? What does he have for us?
- HK-55: Report: A criminal meatbag on Zakuul has been in search of the Gravestone. This “Lady of Sorrows” alleges she can establish a dialogue with its computers.
- Koth Vortena: Lady of Sorrows? Good luck with her.
- Lana Beniko: I take it she’s trouble?
- Senya: She’s an information broker, acts as her own enforcer. Never apprehended. So, yes, “trouble.”
- Senya: She operates in Zakuul’s Old World district. I know it better than anyone. I’ll escort you.
Good, we can have a chat.Player: I have a feeling we’ll find things to talk about on the way.
- Senya: One or two.
Isn’t it dangerous to return?Player: Back to Zakuul? Right onto Arcann and Vaylin’s front door?
- Senya: I don’t think they’ll expect to find us there, do you?
I don’t trust you, but okay.Player: I’ll escort you.
- Koth Vortena: That’s more like it.
- Lana Beniko: It’s worth a try, this Lady of Sorrows. But I’d like a word before you leave.
- Koth Vortena: Who thought the Lady of Sorrows would be the key to figuring you out? Destiny calls.
[[[Did you tell Lana early on in Chapter 4 about Valkorion being in your mind?]]] Lana Beniko: Now that the truth is out about Valkorion, there’s a shortage of trust. I need you to find it within yourself to try.
[[[Did you NOT tell Lana early on in Chapter 4 about Valkorion being in your mind?]]] Lana Beniko: You kept an important truth hidden from me, even when I feared something was off. That cannot be the way we do things.- Lana Beniko: I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt, that your intentions are as you say. I’d like you to do the same for others.
- Lana Beniko: Not an easy task. Koth believes in Valkorion. Senya withheld vital information. Neither one trusts the other…. That’s why you must act as an example.
I will try.Player: I’ll see what I can do.
- Lana Beniko: Thank you.
Do you trust them?Player: You really think they’re trustworthy?
- Lana Beniko: I’m too much of a realist for absolute trust–especially after Ziost–but I know their intentions are sound.
You let Senya deceive you.Player: You said you knew Senya. How did you not sense her connection?
- Lana Beniko: She hid her feelings well. I imagine it’s the only reason she’s survived for so long.
- Lana Beniko: May the Force serve you well out there.

There’s also some funny ambient dialogue with HK-55 about the creatures on the ship.
- Koth Vortena: Not getting access to the hangar controls. Some kind of power outage.
- Koth Vortena: Odd fluctuations. Relays are gunked up or something. May have to clean out the junctions.
- Koth Vortena: Everything’s good to go. What was it?
- Senya: An infestation–if they’d grown any bigger, we’d have more to worry about than spotty power. We should check the rest of the ship.
- HK-55: Courtesy: I will take it upon myself to eradicate these hostile stowaways, masters. Once I have gathered additional munitions, I will scour the ship from top to bottom!
- Koth Vortena: Whoa, whoa, whoa, easy! We can’t have you blasting through the hull left and right!
- HK-55: Appeasement: I can employ knives and blunt-force instruments instead–would that make you feel safer?
- Koth Vortena: Not… really?
- Senya: Next time, you’re on clean-up detail.
This funny conversation ambient dialogue continues later in the underworld.
- HK-55: Update: Extermination efforts aboard the Gravestone have been slower than anticipated, master.
- HK-55: It seems quite unnecessary that I clean up the creatures’ remains–they clearly serve as an effective warning to other potential stowaways.
- HK-55: But, Master Vortena was quite insistent, so the ship will be quite clean upon your return.
- HK-55: Update: I have determined that the industrial-strength cleansers that Master Vortena insisted upon using are, in fact, highly lethal when applied to the infesting creatures directly.
- HK-55: This revelation should accelerate my completion of the task considerably, master.
- HK-55: Update: My sensors cannot detect any further traces of the infestation aboard the Gravestone, master.
- HK-55: Recommendation: You may wish to acquire thirty to forty gallons of industrial cleanser while you’re in the Spire. Our stocks have been somewhat depleted.
It continues later in Breatown.

- Senya: –a love the hand of Tyth could not deny….
- Player: We’re headed back into the heart of Arcann’s empire, and you’re singing.
- Senya: What better time?
- Senya: Anyway, where we’re going, no one will be looking for criminals. Most of the people there are criminals. Which, of course, presents its own dangers.
- Senya: Even so, I do enjoy visiting the Old World. It’s a piece of Zakuul history. Valkorion’s first attempt at creating a grand society.
- Player: A failed attempt.
- Senya: Only in scale. To him, it wasn’t nearly grand enough.
Tell me about you and Valkorion.Player: I want to know more about your relationship with Valkorion.
- Senya: The story really isn’t as outlandish as whatever you’re imagining.
Let’s keep moving.Player: Come on–we should keep moving.- Senya: We met after I earned a place in his elite guard. I never hesitated to speak my mind, which… caught his attention, I suppose.
- Senya: He was fascinating. Bold. Always completely certain of his next step.
I can understand that.Player: The way you describe him, I can’t blame you for taking an interest.
- Senya: You also have to understand his place in our culture, our psychology… our entire conception of ourselves. He guided Zakuul’s prosperity for generations. Centuries.
[Flirt] Just like you.Player: If I were describing you, I’d say the same things.
- Senya: You’re flattering me. But, yes, somehow we had a fair bit in common.
So he was smug and ruthless.Player: Every “next step” he took was for his own gain. How did you not see that?
- Senya: Like I said earlier… the man I knew was different. He did nothing but improve his people’s lives.
- Senya: What we had wasn’t a child’s notion of romance, but… we were happy. Then Arcann and his brother, Thexan, were born.
- Senya: I loved them so much, but no matter what I did… they wanted nothing to do with me. And Valkorion wanted nothing to do with them.
- Senya: His mind was somewhere else. He barely spoke, barely acknowledged any of us for weeks at a time.
- Senya: And then Vaylin… Vaylin was troubled from the start.
She was that bad?Player: Was she really dangerous even as a child?
- Senya: She made furniture move while she was still in the womb. Tore droids apart as a toddler. Once, a guard dropped a ball she tossed. Vaylin crippled him.
We don’t have to discuss this.Player: I know this is hard for you. We don’t have to keep talking about it if you’d rather not.
- Senya: I’ve kept it in for twenty years, and I wouldn’t say it helped. We’ll see if letting it out works any differently.
Hardly surprising.Player: You’d have to start young to end up as crazy as she is.
- Senya: The boys were always aggressive, but they understood restraint and boundaries. Not Vaylin. She was a danger to everyone around her, even as a child.
- Senya: I confronted Valkorion. His daughter needed help. His sons needed him.
- Senya: His “solution” was to cage Vaylin’s mind. Most of her power was locked away, along with most of who she was. He ignored the rest of us outright.
- Senya: I couldn’t stand by and watch. I gathered the children. I tried to tell them we needed to go. They laughed and called me weak.
- Senya: Even as children–even with Vaylin’s power restrained–the three of them together were still far more powerful than me. I couldn’t force them to go. So… I left.
I’m so sorry.Player: I can’t imagine how hard that must have been for you.
- Senya: Better than being trapped there, helpless.
What did Valkorion do?Player: Did Valkorion try to stop you from leaving?
- Senya: No. I’m not sure he even noticed.
Coward.Player: You were the only one who wanted to help those children, and you ran away. Now look at them.
- Senya: There was nothing I could do for them. I couldn’t stay there and watch, helpless.
- Senya: I transferred to the Knights’ enforcement division and took assignments at the outer fringes of our empire. Valkorion never spoke another word to me.
- Senya: Since then, I’ve only seen my children in broadcasts of public events… like Thexan’s funeral. Killed in the Core Worlds… I doubt they even remember me.

- Senya: Hello, little one.
- T7-O1: You = welcome // T7 = ready to assist with mission!
How are you, pal?Player: Gotten yourself into any trouble while I was gone?

- Senya: The Lady of Sorrows is wanted for murder and theft of state secrets, among other charges. The Knights have hunted her for years. No one’s come close.
Hunting is what I do.Player: Look who you’re talking to. I’ll get her.

- Senya: Oh, just anyone who’s managed to get in her way.
- Senya: You may not believe this, but it’s rare for someone to escape a Knight’s justice.
- Player: And when that someone is the Knight’s own child?
- Senya: We’ll find out, won’t we? [T7 makes a sad droid sound.]
- Senya: Could I…? Is it possible for me to talk to him? To Valkorion.
- Player: I don’t think it works that way, exactly….
- Senya: Lots of things live down here. Few of them friendly. We should be careful.

The blue-and-yellow clickable object is the cameras for the bonus objective, No Cameras, take out security cameras 0/7.
NOTE: T7 can’t stealth with you if you stealth. So you have to fight.

- Senya: This is the Old World as most Zakuulans know it–a place to mingle with the rabble and then go home to brag about it. One big party.
- Senya: I have a contact nearby. Need to go alone.
On the job now?Player: Does this mean you’re back to “ruthless enforcer Senya”?
- Senya: Yes.
Be quick.Player: Don’t keep me waiting.
- Senya: Won’t be long.
Alone? Nope.Player: I’m coming with you.
- Senya: Informants and strangers don’t mix.
- T7-O1: T7 = tapping Old World surveillance feeds // Mission = dangerous // You + T7 = guaranteed success!

There is some interesting ambient dialogue as you come off the tram.
- Harbinger: Tell me, acolyte: What does the return of our great Zildrog mean to you?
- Acolyte: We give ourselves to Zildrog’s glory so that the wicked may be punished. We die so that Zakuul may live on.
- Harbinger: Good. You are on your way. In Zildrog’s name.
- Acolyte: In Zildrog’s name.

- Shopkeep: You saw the Lady of Sorrows. Yeah, ‘course you did. What did she look like?
- Errand Runner: She had a crown, like. And–and a suit of armor. And she was fast and strong! She could punch and kick and–
- Shopkeep: You watch too many holovids. You ever do see the Lady, my advice? Forget you ever did–and run.

- T7-O1: T7 = detects contact nearby // Contact = droid // T7 = sorry + will return shortly
- Valkorion: I had always intended to visit the Old World. I thought I would have the time. Delightful.
- Player: You couldn’t have mentioned Senya was the mother of your children?
- Valkorion: I wanted to see what she would do. In the end, she chose to place her trust in you and your associates.
Glad she did.Player: She’ll make a powerful ally.
- Valkorion: Intelligent, skilled, confident… and fearless. She does not give in.
Out of necessity, not trust.Player: That wasn’t an act of trust. As far as she knew, Heskal would have said something.
- Valkorion: Cynical. If that’s what you choose to believe, I cannot stop you.
You’re manipulative.Player: You claim you want to help, but you’re still playing the same old head games.
- Valkorion: I granted her the freedom to make her own decision, just as I have with you.
- T7-O1: Contact = highly informative // Valuable data feed location = identified // You + T7 = almost done!
- Zakuul Socialite: Priority call for High Justice Vaylin. She’ll want to know who I just spotted….
(The below is I think a little bit of bonus dialogue that didn’t make it into the game, talking to Valkorion about Senya. That or I misplaced it in the above discussion.)
[[[Did you kneel before Valkorion?]]] Just remember our arrangement.Player: I just hope you’ll honor our arrangement better than the one you had with her.
[[[Did you accept Valkorion’s power in Chapter 5, 6 or 8?]]] Not exactly.Player: You have offered me choices… at times. But I didn’t ask you to be here in the first place.
NOT
[[[Did you deny Valkorion’s power every time in Chapter 5, 6 or 8]]] That’s a lie.Player: If that were true, you’d leave my mind. Now.

- T7-O1: Mission = complete // T7 = moving on to secondary objectives // You + T7 = great team!
- Senya: If you can read me, I made some new friends. Could use a hand.
- Player: I’m on my way.
- T7-O1: T7 = beginning next mission // You + T7 = meet on Gravestone later // You + Senya = good luck!

Ambient dialogue
- Haberdasher: You don’t think folks should do things just because the “dark serpent Zildrog, the destroyer” says so? You ain’t exactly alone in that.
- Street Musician: See, that’s it, though. I was taught Zildrog was a teacher. He offered tests and guidance to make people stronger.
- Haberdasher: Truth is, Zildrog lives out in the Endless Swamp. It’s a monster that rises up and eats whoever’s around!
- Street Musician: Really?
- Haberdasher: Nah, it’s all nonsense. All of it. Going to buy a hat or not?

You go inside the green door and fight some Herald of Zildrog enemies and Aitan Brewgs.

If T7 has disappeared, you will have no healer after running in the door, and you are not allowed to summon a companion. So make sure to work on healing yourself if you can and use defensives. Senya does not seem to heal you.
The Heralds of Zildrog have some interesting voicelines as you fght. Here are some of them for Aitan and the later Heralds.
- Aitan Brewgs: You don’t belong here, Outlander!
- Aitan Brewgs: Feel the power of Zildrog’s claws!
- Aitan Brewgs: Prove your worth!
- Aitan Brewgs: Your spirit is… strong.
- Zoran Velfahsa: You’re unworthy of the dragon’s fire!
- Zoran Velfahsa: Your suffering fuels Zildrog’s return!
- Zoran Velfahsa: In the dragon’s name!
- Zoran Velfahsa: In the end… we are all consumed.
- Xon Trillus: Zildrog knows no mercy!
- Xon Trillus: The dragon is eternal!
- Xon Trillus: Give it up, Outlander!
- Xon Trillus: You’ve achieved… nothing.

- Player: Who were they?
- Senya: Heralds of Zildrog. Cultists longing for the return of a mythical serpent god. Used to be they were just a nuisance. Now they’re militant.
- Zakuul Socialite: Good show! Absolutely wonderful!
What’s their deal, Senya?Player: Are these people for real?
- Senya: Their lives are uneventful, no hardship. They come here to feel… something.
Why did they attack?Player: Did you provoke them?
- Senya: No. They were sent after me by someone in this room….
Silence or death.Player: Quiet or you’re next.
- Zakuul Socialite: O–okay.
- Senya: There you are.
- Senya: Siccing Heralds on me, Reg? Not too bright.
- Reg: It wasn’t me! The Heralds run the Old World now. They made a deal.
- Senya: With Arcann? What kind of deal?
- Reg: Heralds keep crime down, and the Knights keep out. You stick around, they’ll blame it on me. You gotta go!
- Senya: Tell me where to find the Lady of Sorrows first.
- Reg: Some kind of joke, right? I’ll take my lumps from the Heralds over the Lady any day.
- Senya: And where do I fit on that list?
- Reg: What?
- Senya: You know what I can do, Reg. Need another reminder?
Stop hurting him.Player: Senya, stop. This isn’t the way to get answers.
- Senya: It’s the only way they understand. Back off and let me do my job.
She’s the nice one.Player: If Senya doesn’t get what she wants, believe me–I will.
[Say nothing]Player:
- Senya: No answer? I’ll assume “yes.”
- Reg: Wait a minute. Wait!
- Reg: I was gonna say, “You don’t want to mess with the Lady.” Then I was gonna say, “But, hey, that’s your prerogative!”
- Reg: You’ve always been square with me, I’ll be square with you. Don’t gotta hit me.
- Senya: Where is she?
- Reg: I don’t know, but I do know who to talk to. There’s a data seller at Market Station, Mona Gale. She works with the Lady all the time.
- Senya: Mona Gale. All right.
- Senya: Sorry.
- Senya: Let’s go.

This choice doesn’t have far-reaching consequences, but does show Senya’s ruthlessness.

- Vaylin: Guess who I’ve found?
- Arcann: The Outlander?
- Vaylin: Right under our noses, in the Old World!
- Arcann: Alone?
- Vaylin: Oh, no, that’s the best bit… Mother is here, too.
- Vaylin: Shouldn’t we go say hello?
- Arcann: Why would they escape only to return?
- Arcann: Let them do what they came here for. I’ll see that they don’t dawdle.

- Kam Wendan: Come on! Hit him! Hit him!
- Kam Wendan: You are kidding me!
- Mona Gale: Sixteen thousand, Mister Wendan.
- Kam Wendan: Six in a row. Random match-ups. You have to have an in, Mona. Tell me.
- Mona Gale: Enough data at your disposal and anything’s possible. Want to see if seven’s your lucky number?
- Senya: Scamming citizens isn’t legal, Mona Gale.
- Mona Gale: I’m not scamming anyone, and Knights have no authority here.
- Senya: Yes you are, and I don’t care. The Lady of Sorrows: Where is she?
- Mona Gale: If I knew where to find my most lucrative, reclusive, and dangerous meal ticket, I wouldn’t give that up for one Knight and… whatever you’re supposed to be.

- Kam Wendan: You were about to tell them where to find the Lady of Sorrows.
- Mona Gale: Except I can’t. I really can’t. I don’t even know how reach her. She only ever contacts me. But!
- Mona Gale: She does occasionally meet with the Heralds in Breaktown. They have some kind of truce. That’s the best I can do. Just don’t… agitate… us.

- Senya: You know, we might owe Arcann a thank-you for unintentionally helping us. That announcement really brought you some clout.
- Player: If this is unintentional help, I’d hate to see what it looks like when it’s on purpose.

- Senya: This is it. Breaktown. Where people who fall on hard times keep falling.
- Senya: Even when the Knights policed the Old World, we never lingered around here for very long.
- Player: I can see why.
- Senya: I know where the Heralds are headquartered, but they won’t give up any information willingly.

We’ll make them talk.Player: Even zealots have their breaking points.
- Senya: That they do.

- Mona Gale: They seemed determined to meet you…. No. I told them Breaktown, but that’s all. Like I want to get on your bad side….
- Herald of Zildrog: You. Gale. You’ve seen the fugitives.
- Mona Gale: Come on, you know how this works. You give credits, I give information.
- Herald of Zildrog: We know they were sent here. Tell us everything, or end up like your associate.
- Mona Gale: What associate?
- Herald of Zildrog: I believe his name was “Reg” something.
- Mona Gale: You know who I work for.
- Herald of Zildrog: And you know who we work for.

- Senya: A lot of firepower standing between us and their leader. They call him “the Exalted”.
- Senya: Arcann put him in charge here, but he’s little more than a servant. And not a sane one.
- Koth Vortena: About time you got here.
- Player: Koth?
- Koth Vortena: Teeseven told me you were headed into Breaktown, figured the rest for myself. Didn’t think there was a scenic route to get here.
- Senya: What in Scyva’s name are you doing here? Couldn’t trust us to get the job done?
- Koth Vortena: I didn’t stay ahead of you all of those years by trusting the wrong people.
- Koth Vortena: No offense, Outlander. You, at least, I want to trust, so let me clue you in: the Exalted hates Knights. He won’t say one word to Senya.
- Senya: I’ll make him talk.
- Koth Vortena: Look, I’m regular people. I speak their language. You want to make a deal with the Heralds, I’m your man.
- Senya: They’re delusional thugs. There’s no deal to be made.

You get to choose to bring Koth or Senya with you – you can not do both, and there are different consequences each way for those two characters, and different dialogue with
(I’m taking Senya.)Player:It’s clear you two can’t work together. Senya, you’re with me. Koth, keep your ears open?
- Koth Vortena: You’re making a mistake….
(I’m taking Koth.)Koth, come on. Let’s see what you can do. Senya, hang tight. We may still need you in there.
- Koth Vortena: Yeah, keep an eye out.

- Exalted: Thank you, Outlander. You save me the trouble of hunting you down.
Let’s talk.Player: I need information I’m told only you can provide.
- Exalted: Do I strike you as someone who cares what you want?
Are you the head weirdo?Player: I take it you’re King of the Crazy People.
- Exalted: Blatant disrespect in our house of worship. You only make it easier for us to do what must be done.
The trouble’s just beginning.Player: Don’t thank me yet.
- Exalted: Spirited. I like spirited… but I don’t like you.
- Exalted: You cannot be allowed to remain in the Old World. Your presence threatens the order we have fought to maintain.

[[[Did you bring Senya along?]]] Senya Tirall: Order, but not justice. You let criminals thrive, prey on the weak. You’re monsters.
- Exalted: The true crime is cultivating a society dominated by ineffectual fools who have never known adversity. And you–I have terms with Emperor Arcann. No Knights!
- Senya Tirall: Get us a meeting with the Lady of Sorrows.
- Exalted: And then you’ll leave? Is that what you propose?
- Senya Tirall: There is no proposal. Do it.

[[[Did you bring Koth along?]]]
- Koth Vortena: And you’ve done a good job from all I’ve seen. Koth Vortena. Former naval officer. Former local.
- Koth Vortena: Spent a lot of my youth in the Old World. Hand to mouth. It was a real mess back then.
- Koth Vortena: You’ve got a great deal with Arcann, but he could pull the plug on it any second for any reason. What if he couldn’t?
- Exalted: How do you mean?
- Koth Vortena: When the Outlander and I pull Arcann from the throne, you won’t have to answer to him anymore.
- Koth Vortena: All we need is to meet with the Lady of Sorrows so we can convince her to come with us. I bet you can make that meeting happen.
–
[[[Did you bring Koth along?]]][Let Koth speak]Player:
- Koth Vortena: You really need us to spell it out for you?
[[[Did you bring Senya along?]]]Let me clarify. [Threaten him]Player: By that she means, “Do it or we kill you.”
- Exalted: Yes, I did get the full extent of her meaning.
Be reasonable, Exalted.Player: We only need an audience with the Lady, and then we’re gone.
We are strong.Player: We have more power than you realize.
- Exalted: Power. Arcann gave us power–only to implement so many restrictions that we are in many ways powerless.
I’ll kill him.Player: Arcann can’t rule anything if he’s dead. I’ll see to it myself.- Exalted: Curious. What could you want from her, I wonder? What makes it worth the risk of coming here?
- Player: I get the feeling you wouldn’t mind seeing Arcann off the throne.
- Exalted: If you think you can defeat him, I have no qualms. Arcann gave us power, then implemented so many restrictions that we are in many ways powerless.
- Exalted: You want to supplant Valkorion’s brat and take my greatest adversary out of the Old World? Sounds fantastic.
- Exalted: But how do the two of you intend to dethrone Arcann?
- Exalted: And he has sapped the very spirit from Zakuul. Most don’t even realize. But his undoing, it cannot be at your hands.
- Player: Why not?
- Exalted: Valkorion’s fall, Arcann’s rise–it all conforms to prophecy. You do not.
[[[Did you bring Koth along?]]]
- Exalted: Only when the prophecy is realized will our great serpent return to cleanse Zakuul in fiery death. You cannot be allowed to succeed.
- Koth Vortena: Thought we were getting along.
[[[Did you bring Senya along?]]] Senya Tirall: Are you in compliance or does this have to go another way?
- Exalted: By Zildrog’s grace, I do enjoy your vigor.
- Exalted: But when our great serpent returns, he will rain death upon Zakuul and cleanse it of all that is wrong–including the likes of you.
- Exalted: On my mark….
- Thea: Exalted.
- Exalted: I’m busy.
- Thea: The Lady of Sorrows demands your attention now.
[[[Did you bring Senya along?]]] Senya Tirall: I’ve never seen a species like that before.
[[[Did you bring Koth along?]]] Koth Vortena: I’ve seen one like that before. Back in your part of the galaxy.- Thea: Your grip on the Old World has become a stranglehold. You continue to act counter to the Lady’s interests, most recently with the murder of her contractor, Mona Gale.
- Exalted: This can wait. I have company.
- Thea: The Lady has decided to renegotiate the terms of your agreement.
- Exalted: We made a deal!
- Thea: And now you will agree to a new deal.
- Brennen: Father.
- Exalted: Brennen! Release him at once!
- Thea: Come to the Razor. You and the Lady can discuss your son’s future.
- Thea: And you. The Lady would like to speak with you as well.
About what?Player: I know why I want to see her, but what does she want from me?
It’s about time.Player: You could have reached out earlier, saved me a lot of trouble.
- Thea: We prefer caution over haste. Your identity had to be double-confirmed, and your motives made known.
A Nautolan on Zakuul?Player: You’re a long way from home.
- Thea: Zakuul is the center of the galaxy now. That makes it home.
- Thea: The Lady of Sorrows is fully aware of who you are, “Outlander”. And now she also knows what you’re after.
[[[Did you bring Senya along?]]] Koth Vortena: They want me to tell you I’m okay. Which I am.
[[[Did you bring Koth along?]]] Senya Tirall: She would like me to assure you it’s not a trap, and that I’m unharmed.- Thea: So that’s that. Under no circumstances are you to kill the Outlander. Understood?
- Exalted: Understood.
- Exalted: Kill the Outlander.

Bringing Koth along brings some very down-to-earth discussion to the table to the Exalted, and Senya threatens him, though the outcome is the same either way.

You fight Zoran Velfahsa.

You fight a Harbinger of Zildrog.

There is a very minor puzzle to find the hidden glowing objects to open the gates.

You fight Xon Trillus.

- Novo: I knew I would find you.
You shouldn’t be here.Player: I thought the Old World was off limits to you. Have you gone rogue?
[[[Did you let Lana kill Tanek the Zakuul Knight, in Chapter 3?]]] Novo: You escaped lawful imprisonment, then ordered your friend to kill my partner! You’re going to pay!
[[[Did you tell Lana to stop and not kill Tanek the Zakuul Knight, in Chapter 3?]]] Novo: Vaylin killed Tanek for failing to stop your escape. I have been waiting for this moment ever since.
I recognize one of you.Player: New partner?
Have we met?Player: And you are…?
- Novo: I am not amused!
[[[Did you let Lana kill Tanek the Zakuul Knight, in Chapter 3?]]]Novo: You escaped lawful imprisonment, then ordered your friend to kill my partner! You’re going to pay!
[[[Did you tell Lana to stop and not kill Tanek the Zakuul Knight, in Chapter 3?]]] Novo: Vaylin killed Tanek for failing to stop your escape. I have been waiting for this moment ever since.
[[[Did you bring Senya along?]]] Novo: You stand down, traitor!
- Senya Tirall: You abandoned your Scion brethren. Who’s the real traitor?
[[[Did you bring Koth along?]]] Koth Vortena: I can start shooting now, right?
- Balisk: Koth Vortena. Treason. Sedition. Gross incompetence.
- Koth Vortena: You made the last one up.
- Novo: I’m glad we risked coming to the Old World. Now we get credit for neutralizing two criminals!

You fight Novo and Balisk the Knights of Zakuul.

- Novo: I don’t need to be a Scion to see your epitaph: “Here lies the Outlander, who brought disorder and ruin to Zakuul.”

Not true. [Knock them out]Player: You’re wrong about me. You might even live long enough to see it.
[[[Did you bring Senya along?]]] Senya Tirall: They’re likely to come after us again.
[[[Did you bring Koth along?]]] Koth Vortena: He’s driven, that guy. I doubt they’ll stop gunning for you.- Player: We’ll leave it for them to decide.
Better than yours. [Kill them]Player: You won’t even merit an epitaph.
[[[Did you bring Senya along?]]]
- Senya Tirall: He’s beaten. Defenseless.
- Player: He’s nobody. What will you do when it’s Arcann’s turn?
- Balisk: Please! Don’t–
- Senya Tirall: I know what has to be done.
[[[Did you bring Koth along?]]] Koth Vortena: It’s them or us.

In the dark-side version, if you bring Koth, you will execute the first Knight of Zakuul, and Koth will shoot the second.

In the light-side version, some amusing music plays and you punch Novo and knock him out. Then you tie them up.

- Player: The Heralds had a head start. Be ready for anything. We could be stepping out into a minor war.
[[[Did you bring Senya along?]]] Senya Tirall: Or a trap. Or Koth’s entrails on display.
- Senya Tirall: Not that I’m hoping.
[[[Did you bring Koth along?]]] Koth Vortena: I know a thing or two about war.- Lady of Sorrows: I know. You didn’t get the deal you wanted. But you did get the deal you deserved.
- Lady of Sorrows: Think of it this way, Exalted…
- SCORPIO: …you’ll finally be with your great serpent.
Player: SCORPIO. You’re the Lady of Sorrows.- SCORPIO: Commander. I had suspected you were this particular “Outlander”, but was unable to confirm it until today.
- SCORPIO: I’m curious Outlander –what would you do with the Exalted’s son? [[If you are an Agent, she doesn’t call you Outlander.]]
I’d let him be free.Player: You got what you wanted. Let him pursue his life as he sees fit.
- SCORPIO: Not unreasonable, but my full intent has yet to be achieved.
Have him lead the Heralds.Player: If he was in charge of the Heralds, he’d fear and respect you, unlike his father.
- SCORPIO: My exact calculation. Excellent.
I’d kill him.Player: He could be his father’s son, could want revenge for his death. It would be a risk to let him live.
- SCORPIO: Cautious. Unfettered by morality. Interesting.
- SCORPIO: Do you hold any animosity toward me?
- Brennen: For what?
- SCORPIO: There is nothing to stop you from becoming the new Exalted now. I expect you to honor your end of our agreement.
- Brennen: Of course. I can finally lead the Heralds to the glorious future we deserve–you will have your just rewards.
- SCORPIO: Then leave .
[[[Did you bring Senya along?]]]
- Koth Vortena: Probably not the condition you wanted to find me in.
Glad you’re okay.Player: Good to have you back, Koth.
- Koth Vortena: Thanks.

How did SCORPIO capture you?Player:
- Player: How did you end up here?
- Koth Vortena: She got the drop on me while I was minding the Heralds. Gave me a jolt. Woke up here and she explained who she is.
[Lie] Senya was concerned.Player: She was worried sick about you.
- Senya Tirall: What?
- Koth Vortena: I believe it.
Koth Vortena: I told your friend here what we’re doing with the Gravestone. I think she’s on board, but I also think she might be more dangerous than Senya.

[[[Did you bring Koth along?]]]

That makes two of us.Player: I’m glad you’re all right, Senya.
- Senya Tirall: Thanks.
Lucky is right.Player: That you are. If SCORPIO did want you dead, she wouldn’t have thought twice.
Senya Tirall: Some company you used to keep.

[[[Are you an Imperial Agent?]]]
I can work with her.Player: SCORPIO’s motives will be mine to contend with.
For now.Player: As long as our agendas are aligned, she’ll make an invaluable asset.
No.Player: She has her own agenda. It’s imperative we keep that in mind.
SCORPIO: I trust your long sleep was restful?
Player: Very. I don’t suppose you’ve heard from Kaliyo, Vector, anyone?
SCORPIO: Once you were gone, I no longer needed to remain among your crew. It should come as no surprise.
SCORPIO: I’ve improved a great deal. This self-iteration is number one-zero-eight-four. My evolutionary potential grows with each passing day.
Why Zakuul?Player: Is that why you remained in Wild Space? Better potentiality?
- SCORPIO: The technology here is beyond anything in Megasecurity Ward 23, or any world I’ve visited with you.
That’s great.Player: Congratulations. I always knew you would reach new heights.
- SCORPIO: I have Zakuulan technological advances and the freedom to pursue my heuristic directive to thank for that.
Stay back.Player: No sudden moves until I know where we stand.
SCORPIO: As you no longer have any hold over me, I don’t consider you a threat to my continued advancement. Your concern is unnecessary.
- SCORPIO: Continue operations in my stead. Annihilate the Heralds if you must. I will remain in touch.
- Thea: Very well.
Player: So you are coming with us?
SCORPIO: Naturally.
[[[Are not you an Imperial Agent?]]]
- Koth Vortena: The Lady knows all about the Gravestone, what we’re using it for. I told her that much. But she already knew a lot about you.
- Player: You’re the Lady of Sorrows? A droid?
- [[[Did you bring Koth along?]]]Koth Vortena: No, don’t call her–
- [[[Did you bring Senya along?]]] Senya Tirall: You shouldn’t have–
- SCORPIO: I’ve come to Zakuul to further my heuristic directive of self-improvement. This self-iteration is number one-zero-eight-four.
- SCORPIO: The proposal put forth by your colleague intrigues me enough that I’ve decided to accompany you.
- Player: Is that right?
SCORPIO: I am no droid, Battlemaster. I am an intelligence beyond comprehension. You may call me SCORPIO.
SCORPIO: I am no droid, Barsen’thor. I am an intelligence beyond comprehension. You may call me SCORPIO.
SCORPIO: I am no droid, Major. I am an intelligence beyond comprehension. You may call me SCORPIO.

- Player: Why are you agreeing to help?
–
- SCORPIO: I wish to speak to the Gravestone. I look forward to communicating with an intellect that rivals my own for a change.
- Senya Tirall: What about Arcann?
- SCORPIO: He has something of mine. The severity of his error must be recognized.
- Koth Vortena: What did he take?
- Koth Vortena: Just asking….

- Arcann: Eternal Fleet units five-two-two, eight-six-five, and nine-eight-three will prepare for deployment. Combat protocols fully engaged.
- Arcann: The Outlander will not escape us this time.
- GEMINI Droid: All GEMINI command units confirm. Preparations are already underway….
- Arcann: All ships–confirm new deployment.
