Spec Ops Carbine

The Spec Ops Carbine is a Crafting Armstech Archived Special Trainer blaster rifle that can be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Spec Ops Carbine can be worn at any level in the Outfitter - it's a cosmetic weapon, and has no stats attached to it.

How to Get: Crafting Armstech Archived Special Trainer (Retired Schematic)

This is a direct screenshot of the Spec Ops Carbine! The file name is spec-ops-carbine-5982-thumbnail.png - as long as I named it right and didn't mix up its name with another weapon, this should be an exact screenshot of this weapon, which I or another player actively owned.

Sound: Abeloth

All Blaster Rifles with the Abeloth sound type have the same sound, including the Spec Ops Carbine. This isn't the official name, and this Blaster Rifle sound type may be labelled something like weaponrangedriflenormal01 in the background of the game.

I do not have a video of the Spec Ops Carbine, but you can watch a video of the Outbreak Response Blaster Rifle weapon to hear the Abeloth sound type, which is the same as the Spec Ops Carbine.

How to Get Archived Armstech Trainer Special Weapons

The Armstech crew skill trainer can teach players how to craft many crafted weapons sets as they level up in Armstech. However, these semi-retired crafted weapons sets are no longer available to be learned from the Armstech trainer from the launch of the game 1.0 - they were removed from the trainer in Update 4.0, and replaced with a more streamlined set of weapons schematics to be learned from the trainer. However, if you can find someone who learned the old schematics from the trainer pre-4.0, they can craft you these items, as the crafted items are Binds on Equip.

How to get the Spec Ops Carbine

The Spec Ops Carbine is a crafted Blaster Rifle, but the ability to learn how to craft it yourself is no longer available. Only players who learned the ability to craft it in the past can craft it now - so you will need to find someone who can craft it for you, or get lucky and find it on the GTN.

These weapons will have an identical or very similar look to the Spec Ops Carbine. There's no real name for the appearance, but I've labelled it riflesniperhigh01a01v04 which may be a name I call all identical weapons, or a name in the game files.
