Defiant Offhand Blaster MK-5
The Defiant Offhand Blaster MK-5 is a Retired Defiant blaster pistol that can be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Defiant Offhand Blaster MK-5 can only be used at a specific level and up, but if you are higher than the weapon's required level, you can wear it cosmetically in the Outfitter to show its appearance on your character while using a higher-level weapon in your Gear tab for stats.
How to Get: Retired Defiant
This is not a direct screenshot of the Defiant Offhand Blaster MK-5. The file name is defiant-onslaught-blaster-pistol-mk-16-3797-thumbnail.png - as far as I can tell it is identical to another weapon, so I re-used the screenshots. There may be small variations that I could not tell apart when comparing thumbnails, previews or item icons.
Sound: Akaavi
All Blaster Pistols with the Akaavi sound type have the same sound, including the Defiant Offhand Blaster MK-5. This isn't the official name, and this Blaster Pistol sound type may be labelled something like weaponrangedblasterdisruptor01 in the background of the game.
I do not have a video of the Defiant Offhand Blaster MK-5, but you can watch a video of the Underworld Blaster weapon to hear the Akaavi sound type, which is the same as the Defiant Offhand Blaster MK-5.
How to Get Retired Defiant Weapons
Retired Defiant weapons are retired, which means they are no longer obtainable. You might be able to find a similar look-alike weapon below.
Other Names
This weapon has multiple varieties - they are gotten the same way, and look the same, but have different names because they have diferent stats attached to them for gearing variations.
- Defiant Boltblaster's Offhand Blaster MK-5
- Defiant Med-Tech's Offhand Blaster MK-5
- Defiant Targeter's Offhand Blaster MK-5
- Defiant Offhand Blaster MK-5
Identical Weapons
These weapons will have an identical or very similar look to the Defiant Offhand Blaster MK-5. There's no real name for the appearance, but I've labelled it blasterhigh36a01v02 which may be a name I call all identical weapons, or a name in the game files.

These Blaster Pistol weapons will have the same sound as the Outlander Mender's Blaster Pistol MK-6. There's no real name for the sound, but I've called it 'Akaavi' it may be called something like weaponrangedblasterdisruptor01 in the game files.
