The Thrill of Discovery - SWTOR Quest

The Thrill of Discovery is a quest in Star Wars: The Old Republic. You can find more information about where to pick it up below, but this is also part of a larger quest database, so you may also want to check the Taris Planet Quests list, or the main quests page for more context.

• Quest Name: The Thrill of Discovery
• Faction: Republic
• Planet: Taris
• Mission Type: Exploration
• Description: Find the remnants of an old prototype swoop bike engine from before Taris' destruction.
• Mission Giver: Tarkos Sund
• Map Coordinates: 812, 433
• Map Number: 24
• Notes: Requires Beyond Redemption or Making Trouble to be completed first.
• Exploration Mission: This is an exploration mission. If you do not have exploration missions turned on, you will not be able to see it on the map or talk to the questgiver Tarkos Sund. To turn exploration missions on, press ALT+M on your keyboard or click the circle-shaped icon of a “World” on the bottom right of your screen. There will be a checkbox called 'Exploration Missions' on the left. Exploration missions are hidden by default so new players do not get overwhelmed by the number of quests.
