Outfit: Aleksaei Campbell – Satele Shan

Hello there!

This is my iteration of one of the most iconic Republic Navy uniforms, most notably seen in the Esseles and Boarding Party Flashpoints, using the resources available to us in game. While not every piece will make an exact match in style the what the Game NPCs have, this is so far my closest attempt at copying this uniform style.

I chose the Civilian Pilot's jacket as the main piece since it dyes in the same fashion as the Navy Officer's uniform does, except we don't have access to a Dark Brown and Light Blue dye pack, thus why the Squad Officer's dye is used. Same with the Civilian Pilot's Gloves, given they look closely enough to the ones we are looking to copy. I used the Frontline Slicer's bracers for this one since they dye according to your chestpiece's secondary color, which will help covering up some bits of the Civilian Pilot's jacket wrists. The official headpiece for this uniform would be the Republic Officer's Helmet from the Collector's Edition Vendor, though I particularly like using the TD-07A Scorpion Headgear to give my character a gas mask of sorts, like the ones people wear on Quesh.

The Hoth Ranger pants are a must. These pants are actually seen worn by the crew of the Dorin's Sky in the Boarding Party Flashpoint, by Supreme Commanders Rans and Malcom, and lots of Republic Navy personnel after the Shadow of Revan expansion. Paired to this, is the Arctic Scout's boots, which again, are the same style of boots worn by many Republic Officer NPCs in the game, though they lack the little bootstrap bandolier some NPCs seem to have. If you'd like to have one, I'd suggest using the Republic Officer's boots too from the Collector's Edition Vendor, since those are the same style as the one Supreme Commander Rans wears. Finally the belt, I picked the Kuat Drive Yards Corporate belt due to it's side pockets being the same style as the ones of the Republic Officers, though the belt itself does not match. If you'd like a better match, the Arctic Scout Belt is the one for the job, you can dye it with a Deep Brown primary dye or match it to the chestpiece's color for a similar effect, since some Republic NPCs seem to have their belt color matched, while others don't.

This project has taken some bit of research, and I am very happy to share my findings with other roleplayers as well.
