The son of my Sith Assassin character, Verleyn, Vaid was captured by the Republic when their forces boarded Vaiken Spacedock during the Dromund Kaas operation, along with hundreds of citizens. A Jedi Knight sensed the young Vaid’s inherited power and took him back to Tython, training him as a Jedi Sage.

The outfit is a hybrid between the ritualistic traditional style of the Old Republic, while retaining some of the sombre, simpler robes of the Clone Wars.
