Eventually work on Drommund Kaas brought back his old memories and he reunited with family members. Skarabe left Drommund Kaas when he learned a republic expiditionary ship was carrying old relics of his. Most notably, the secrets of his most coveted power, to manifest the force, and puppeteer corpses that had fallen on the battlefield. when taking back the relics, he earned the nickname 'Sithspawn' as quite literallyed a Sith spawned outlaw. Sithspawn embraced piracy and began guiding his heir Amun Raa in taking over his work as a more compassionate Dark Lord of the Sith while pirating out of Rishi. Eventually, rumors of his nature, though there was no proof to support it beyond paranoid pirates who knew none of his secrets of his past as a Sith, led Sithspawn to embrace the rumors, by killing a nova blade captain who was one of their slave traders with force lighting. this started a gang war which saw Sithspawn come out on top, with an 'understanding' of the Nova Blade's extortionist practices on Rishi. Sithspawn seeing to a local militia in Raider's Cove that often clashed with the blades as his 'payment' to them.
