Information:

Nymeria was born from a small Noble house on Aldeeran, house Talum in 2661 BBY, 18 years before the start of SWTOR. House Talum was a small house, owning a few acres of land on the far borders of Imperial influence on Aldeeran. House Talum’s small size meant that they could never field a considerable army, but they were often at war. So most people, even women and children learnt the basic of combat. And Nymeria, although being a noble was no difference.

In fact, she found much more enjoyment with the vibroblade then she did with the quill.
She had two older brothers, the oldest one was Najul he was 24 at the time and was considered one of the best duelists on Aldeeran. Najul and Nymeria were never really close, Najul took everything dead serious and when he made decisions he always did what he thought would be best for House Talum. Whilst Nymeria was more playful, she rather had fun then discuss politics all day. And after all, at the time she was only 11. She had always been close with her other brother though, Tilyn. They were only 4 years apart and were very similar in a lot of ways.
Everything was good, and Nymeria was shaping out to be quite a capable little warrior, and then everything went wrong.

A few months after Nymeria’s twelfth birthday. The smokes of war would once again cover Aldeeran. House Thul, who house Talum owed their allegiance to, and house Organa marched to war. Nymeria’s father was extremely honourable and marched to the Thul’s side with the small army they could amass. They were given small and overall very unimportant tasks because of their small size, but they were itching to fight. And in pure desperation house Thul finally granted their wish about 9 months into the war.
A Organa-Republic force was about to outflank a key position of the Thul’s, and in panic they ordered the Talum army to attack, despite being outnumbered 2-1.
Nymeria’s father and her brothers were leading the army, and they were convinced that they would just have to keep the Organas at bay for a while and they would then receive reinforcements.
But the reinforcements never arrived, and the Talum army was surrounded and eradicated.
On one day, House Talum lost its Lord, its heir and almost every man in fighting condition. And then things turned from bad the worse.
House Organa was smelling blood, they were angry at House Talum for daring to fight them and an army of 5000 men was sent to deal with them once and for all.
The Organa army, led by Neman Organa, laid siege to the only town the Talums had, and conquered it. In a fit of rage Neman ordered his soldiers to slay everyone inside and burn the place the place to the ground.

Nymeria and her mother tried to escape, but her mother was killed in the process. Nymeria ran for her life, just thirteen years old, and managed to escape the slaughter. She reached the capital of House Thul were she begged for help, but House Thul gave her none.
They said that if the Talum’s couldn’t even defend their own town, then they were not worthy of Thul support.
She managed to sneak on a ride to Nar Shadaa, she just wanted to get off the planet. She spent the next 3 years growing up on the streets on one of the worst planets in the galaxy. Through experience she learnt deceit, backstabbing and things that she were far to young to know about.

One day though, a man dressed in black entered her house. Her house was a glorified shack. He asked her if she had seen a drug dealer. She answered that there were thousands of drug dealers on Nar Shadaa and that he would have to be a whole lot more specific. He told her everything he could about the man, and as it was she knew who he was. She pointed him in the direction the man had gone, towards a warehouse downtown and the man gave her some credits for the information.
But as said earlier, Nymeria was a playful and curious girl. She followed the mysterious man to the warehouse, were he engaged 3 people in combat. He shoot the first two, but the third one managed to get a blaster shot into his right arm, almost blowing it clean of. Nymeria acted instinctively, stepped out of the shadows, pulled her blasted and shot the man 3 times.
Twice in the chest, once straight into the forehead, finishing him off. She helped the mysterious man get up on his feet and once he recovered consciousness he told her his true identity.
Cipher 3 of Imperial intelligence, sent to Nar Shadaa to dismantle a smuggler network that was interfering with Imperial traders. He knew he owed his life to this women, who he barely even knew, and took her under his wing.
He trained her in the arts of assassination, infiltration and deception. He taught her how to kill a man with in 50 ways, just with her bare hands. Not only was Nymeria, who now called herself Panthëra, naturally skilled in combat, but she had also trained on fighting when she was younger on House Talum. Those old skills, combined with Cipher training and experience from living in the hellhole that was Nar Shadaa, made her a force to be reckoned with.
Once Cipher 3 had recovered he took her to Dromund Kaas, he had something planned for her there but it never happened. He was sent to an assignment on Mustafar and was killed in action.

With or without him though, she was determined to become a cipher. She asked for an assignment to prove that she was ready and was finally granted one.
With the age of 17, Nymeria, now known as Panthëra was sent to Hutta to infiltrate and gain the loyalty of a Hutt crime lord. And well, we know the rest.

Now 18, Cipher 9 travels accross the galaxy, bringing swift deaths to those who questions the Empire.
The only thing larger then her skill with the Sniper is her hate for House Organa and the Republic.
I guess seeing your mother die in your arms at the age of 13 leaves some deep psychological wounds.
Among other things Cipher 9 has brought down an entire terror network, defeated a Dark Lord in hand to hand combat, and singehandedly turned the tide of the war on more then one planet.

As she said to an operative under her command.
“Question the way Sith politics work and you will be punished. Question the way of the Empire and you will be killed. Question and destroy the life of Imperial civilians and lets just say this. I’ll make sure your suffering is slow”

(sorry guys for making such a huge biography, but i am a deep RPer and a star wars nerd, so if it was bad or anything, then i apologize, but i wanted to give her a backstory :P)
