Outfit: Aventhia – The Progenitor

I’ve tried to scout for the Dark Legionnaire armor, specifically the chest piece, for a good while now but I haven’t had any luck with my search so far. After browsing this site, I came across that there’s a chest piece that looks rather similar… The Defiant Asylum Body Armor MK-26! I crafted the part that you need to reverse engineer to get this particular piece on my synthweaver and here we have it.

I originally didn’t realise that you can’t dye the metallic parts of the chest piece… and I immediately thought “Oooh boy, this ain’t gonna work after all”. The gold definitely presented a whole new level of challenge, but I wanted to use the chest piece so badly that I decided to try and tackle this problem head on. After some tweaking and a lot of frustration, I think I eventually came up with a set that works surprisingly well.

I was hoping I could’ve dyed the boots to have golden metallic parts as well, but none of the yellows/oranges/browns I tried provided me with just the right kind of hue… Not to mention it would’ve had to be a part of a dye with black in it, so no dice there… But now that I’ve run around in this set for a day or two, I’ve grown rather fond of this result and I’m not that bothered about the boots anymore.

Oh! Any type of “simple” glove will work for the gloves, as long as it has a single dye channel and it doesn’t cover the wrists! I know Sensuous as a set can be pricy as heck, and I’m 100% sure there are cheaper alternatives for the gloves! No need to buy this set just for the gloves. :’D
