Running Man Emote
The Running Man emote in Star Wars: The Old Republic is a Cartel Market emote you can get for your character.
You can find the Running Man emote in the Dances section of the emotes panel, or type /runningman in the chat panel and press enter.
This emtoe is based on the Running Man dnace popularised by MC Hammer in his signature Hammer pants.
How to Get the Running Man Emote
Cartel Market emotes originally come from the Cartel Market, either through direct sale or through random chance in Cartel Packs. Cartel Market emotes can sometimes be found for direct sale on the Cartel Market, but if it is not available there it can also be purchased from other players on the GTN.
Can't find it? If you can't find this emote on the Cartel Market which is run by the developers who rotate items in and out over time, and can't find it listed on the GTN which is made of listings created by players, you're looking for an emote that is currently considered rare or uncommon, and you'll either need to keep checking back those two places, or try posting in the /trade chat or the Fleet General Chat that you are looking to buy one - but it will likely be very expensive if no one has one listed on the GTN already!
Collections: Because this is a Cartel Market item, once you acquire and use one copy, you can unlock this emote on all current and future characters across all servers, using the Collections system. It costs between 60-240CC for most emotes to unlock them in collections.
Emote Chat
When you use an emote, text will be displayed in orange to both you and others in the chatbox to anyone who is nearby. You can also select another player, character, or NPC before you use the emote to change what shows up in the chat. This is the text shown by the Running Man emote in chat.
